Chapter 4: Finally Using My System!!

After the training with my mother, I went back to my room, lied down and stared at the ceiling. When can I use my system? Ah! I forgot to say that the menu doesn't work at all. I tried clicking things in the menu but nothing happens. I guess the system was too lazy to write new screens. System, when can I use you?

See? That lazy system didn't reply again and that's what always happened--- WAIT DID I JUST HEAR A REPLY?!

Okay, can I ask why did you not respond to me at least once? Why did the menu not work at all?

I clicked stats because its what I needed to know first. Especially when that system said that the increase in my stats was negligible.

So aside from my body stats and hidden stats, it also shows my name, age, title and affiliations. Again, hidden stats is in plural form so I assume that as time goes on there would be other stats that will appear if I do some requirements. By the way system, does the title have some effect on my stats?

I followed what my system said and a screen popped out.

So this title is the reason why I have a high charm stat. System, what are the reasons why my leadership stat isn't showing?

Very vague explanation but still kind of useful. After checking out my stats again, I called out menu and then the previous screen that showed my stats was replaced by the first one that had selections.

I only have these few skills huh... I'm also sure that my Active and Passive skills were only gained from today's practice. I have 2 system skills and I assume that [Award] is my skill to give system while [Retrieve] is my ability to take it back. System, if I had the retrieve skill then can't I just take the system back if they betray me?

{Yes, you can take it back but the progress done in the system that you gave will disappear and it will be back to zero. This would mean that the power you gained from the specific system will also disappear unless you give it to someone else and nurture it again.}

So it seems like I really need to be careful when awarding systems because it might be a handicap to me. If a subordinate grows too strong and that person betrays me, I will have no choice but to retrieve the system, and a large part of my power will disappear.

I went back to menu and clicked the remaining function that I can access which is the [Systems}.

{Athos had a thing for Greek Mythology so he wanted the sub-systems to be translated to Greek words. But do not fret, you can easily understand the sub-systems' abilities by clicking it.}

Oh... so these are Greek words. Well, at least they all sound mysterious and powerful.

I clicked all the systems and 10 screens popped out. Luckily they are not overlapping but the problem is they are blocking the whole view and I can't see anything anymore except the screens.

Wow! What really caught my attention was the first system! Looks like my dream of exploding things has hope! And I can also act like a ninja by hiding in the shadows. I also like Kairós, I can imagine myself shouting 'Thunder, Strike down!' then a thunder hits my target! So exciting.

Meanwhile, I think the most dangerous systems would be Myaló and Týchi̱. Since my subordinate's power will be 50% stronger than mine, if they mind control me or they predict future in order to drag me in a scheme, then it would backfire to me. Maybe I am overthinking, still, I will lose nothing from being too careful and calculative.

I wonder about the systems that are censored. I think they will be as powerful as the Týchi̱ because they're in the same category, a category of system that is also censored.

The three remaining that I haven't mentioned. Diamonds, plants and animals... Won't I be rich if I manage this properly!? If I can sell those diamonds that would be tons of money! And by using the plant and animal ones in order to grow a tons of crop and livestocks, I'm sure that will also mean a lot of money in a world like this!

I'm going to be rich!!

I am Thea Gorgon, the head of the palace maids. I was there when the crown prince was born and after seeing him, I immediately thought of serving him for my whole life. The crown prince was smart and talented. He walked when he was barely a month old and talked after 6 months. He was already reading history books when he was a year old and sometimes even solved problems that imperial scholars can't.

But these days, the crown prince is so weird! He is sometimes talking to himself. He would stare in space for a long time. Just earlier, I was about to call the Crown Prince for dinner and I went to his room. Then I saw him staring at the space again, I just watched at first because maybe he was thinking about some problems in the affairs of empire that needs to be solved. Then he was suddenly looking like pissed! I even heard him say "Bad ---tem". I wonder what the second word was... After that his facial features showed that he was confused! I admit that the crown prince' confused reaction is really adorable.. its like a puppy tilting its head. Then after a minute, he was laughing! It was like he was crazy! He was chanting "I'm going to be rich, I'm going to be rich hehe.." many times.

What will be the future of the empire if the Crown Prince continues to be like this...
