1 Rebirth
Inside a castle surrounded by mountains, there were 2 men in the throne room, one of them is on his knees, he has a blonde short hair, strange red eyes, and a handsome face, but he looks anxious and is sweating a lot, while the other has calm expression on his face while looking out of the window, this man has red eyes and black short hair, and has an air of royalty and wisdom.
In the window you can see far away an army passing the mountains and going to the castle, the man with black hair look at the scene and simply says.
" Wow, this time the lichs are really carried away, such a big army of undead just to raid my little castle, they are even allied to elves and humans, maybe this will be in history books as one of the rare times where lichs allied to others races "

After that my memories get a little cloudy and I am not certain how I died or even if Simon is alive or how he died too.
Now I am in this strange place where everything is black and I can feel a warm sensation, this is not what I expected from death, it feels comfortable.
After some time this place gets boring, I don't know how much time has passed since I died but it seems like years for me, and the majority of the time the only thing that I can do is trying to remember where the things go wrong.
For my surprise, I don't have a lot of regrets for someone who died the way I died, maybe because I expected this could happen or something like that, and if I don't take some risk I would end up far from having a castle or being so powerful.
Thinking about it a lot of others monarchs made the same mistakes, guess is something about the position, when we try to do take something we don't care about the consequences after getting it.
I wonder who get my castle? The elves or the humans? Maybe the lichs who betrayed me? Nah they can't hold a castle against the humans, and elves don't really like castles far from forests, so I will bet in the humans.

This situation is so strange that I forget to cry like a normal baby would, anyway, I see 3 people inside the room, first, the woman caring me, she looks like a servant, she is wearing a black maid uniform, by her face I would guess that she is around 40 years old.

This place looks like a cell too, the walls are made of gray bricks and I see only one window out there, and it is in the middle of the door, the window has some metal bars, just like any window of a prison, this place just has a wooden table where my mom is laying down right now, and for the bed I will guess that it is this amount of straws near the wall.
My mom looks at my face and she doesn't even look happy, she just puts me in a comfortable position near her and starts to sleep, ignoring me completely, I see the maid getting out of the room too, and closing the door.
I feel confused and tired too, but I am just a baby right now there is not too much I could do, it is good enough that they don't kill the son of a prisoner, I wonder if everything is okay, let me see my status.

Well my abilities still there but obviously I can't use them yet, it would be strange if a baby could use lances of blood to kill an entire army, my race changed too it went from high human to a crossbreed of human and a vampire.
I wonder what my race will be if I keep evolving, and thanks to the crossbreed information now I know my dad is a vampire.
The bad thing is that my profession reseted and my level too, but I can get them back.
I start to feel a little tired, I should sleep and see what I can do tomorrow.
