4 4. 43 Months

A sixteen looking year old boy was seen walking towards Orario. He had short top ponytail where a samurai bun would be with bangs to the left side of his face. His build was lean and not overly muscular, however anyone could tell how much he had trained with the amount of scars that covered his body. His deep glue eyes had a hint of curiosity in them as he looked at his surroundings.

He had with him a black blade to his side and a pair of fingerless gloves to match. He would have looked like a samurai if not for the worn out leather garb he was wearing. Not that he had anything else to where.

This boy was obviously Karma. He had finally decided to enter Orario after the few years he had spent in the training within the nearby forest after he had gained enough insight into his manuals.

The training time was way shorter due to his [Adapt and Improve] skill, but it wasn't only one technique he was training in.

The one thing that frustrated him was how he had never come across any monsters. He had hunted quite a few animals but those didn't count as 'enemies', according to Great Sage who had finished installing.

Great Sage was the only 'companion' he had in the forest, it always tries to help him as best as it could, and also helped him improved his techniques.

Once he tried moving deeper into the forest where he had came across a deer that had immediately charged at him. The damage he suffered that day was more than he imagined. It reminded him that he only had one life, and that he could die at any time. He wasn't willing to make such a mistake again.

One of the things that made him surprised was the fact that he gained one [FREE Eyes Coupon] on his birthday every year. He currently had three of them, and his fourth one was coming up. He hadn't used them yet since he didn't want to start training something new when he was already busy.

When he arrived at the gate he received quite a few looks, some were curious and some were cautious. It made sense, since people could tell Karma was in a battle ready state. He had reached a constant state of Breathing except for when he was asleep. It made him seem like he was about to attack them.

When he reached the gate the guard looked at him warily. Michael sensing this decided to stop his Breathing temporarily, which seemed to ease up the guard.

"Hi there, what business do you have in Orario?"

"I'm looking to become an adventure."

"Oh? I thought you were one since you seem to be strong."

"Hehehe, thanks. I just didn't want to be weak, I guess."

"I see... Well then hope you enjoy your stay. If you don't have a Familia to join why don't you join mine? I'm sure they'd let you join if I gave them a recommendation."

"Thanks... but I already have a friend that I'm joining."

"Well that's a shame, I can tell you have a lot of potential. Become strong young man."

"Of course." said Karma as he entered the gates. The guard looked at his vanishing back and thought back to his own son who had died in the dungeon. He couldn't help but sigh as he wished the young man good luck.

Karma was currently looking around like typical country boy. He had never imagined a place with so many people from so many different races.

'This is where my new life will start'
