Karma was now heading home. When he arrived, he found no one present, something he wasn't surprised about by now. Since he had nothing better to do he decide to go to the Hostess of Fertility for an early dinner.

When he entered he heard someone say something stupid "The blind man can see again." He decided to ignore it since it came from the same man he saw last time. Karma sat in the same seat he had last time and waited for someone to take his order. "Welcome to the Hostess of Fertility what will you be having today?" this time it was Syr.

"I'll just get the noodles. That's all."

"Alright then."

Karma then proceed to finish his food soon afterwards and was about leave when Syr called him out. "By the way, how do you know Ryuu?"

"Well, I only met her the last I came here, is there something wrong?"

"Not at all." said mischievous smile that reminded Karma of her personality. 'Likes teasing others, slightly mischievous. I should leave before something happens.'

"Well, it's time for me to go." said Karma as started to leave. Just before he exited, he heard Syr ask another question.

"One last question, do you have a girlfriend?"

"No, why?"

"No reason at all."

'Okay?' "Bye then."

Little did he know that Ryuu was listening to their conversation.

Karma arrived to find his Familia at home. "Where were you guys?"

"We were just in the dungeon for a while. You should join us." said Ouka. Although Karma was slightly surprised by Ouka's comment, he still responded. "Maybe after I hit level two."

Takemikazuchi didn't expect Karma to respond, especially since this kid was so secretive, but he still happy about it.

Karma was now preparing dinner with Mikoto. He thought that it wasn't that bad, so he decided to help her again, even though he wasn't going to eat any of it because of his earlier meal. Mikoto had a small smile as she was cooking with Karma. She didn't know why, but ever since last night, she found herself quite attracted to him. She had never felt this way before and didn't know what to do, but she enjoyed their short time spent in the kitchen and the dinner table.

Karma made short conversation with the Familia. He learnt a little bit more about each of them during dinner. "You're not eating Karma?" asked Zuko.

"No, I ate earlier."

"I see, then can I eat your plate?"

"Sure. Anyways I'm going to head in early. Goodnight."

Karma was now laying in bed thinking about his future decisions and realized he still had three [FREE Eyes Coupons]. He decided to use all of them at once to get it over and done with. "Great Sage, get me the Mystic Eyes of Death perception, the All Seeing Eyes of God and the Ultimate Eye."

[Are you sure that you want them all at once?]

"Of course, what's the worst that could happen."

[Acknowledged] said Karma as Great Sage as it began to the integration process.

Suddenly Karma felt unimaginable pain in his head as he started to scream soundlessly, thanks to the barrier. He never thought he would feel so much pain, but what else did he expect from a God grade artifact being integrated into his eyes.

He cried tears of blood as laid there motionless, his throat hoarse from all the screaming he had done. He would twitch every once in while, still in pain as the integration process continued. For some reason he couldn't pass out, or rather, it like felt like something wouldn't let him. Anyone who would see Karma in his current would feel extreme pity for the young man. At the crack of dawn, passed out upon seeing a message.

[Integration complete]

Mikoto was about to make breakfast when she realized that everyone was awake except for Karma. She wanted to see if he was awake and maybe he could help her with breakfast or at least join them. She knocked on the and got no answer. "Pardon the intrusion." said Mikoto as she opened the door.

When she saw Karma was still asleep, she decided to wake him up. When she approached the bed she caught sight of something red. At first she was confused, but that confusion turned into panic as she identified what the red stain was.

She rushed to Karma's side as she turned him over and saw the dried blood stains on his face. She remembered when he was talking to Asuka about his eyes. "How is this just a side effect!?" she screamed as she ran to look for a potion, alerting the rest of her Familia.

Karma woke up to hear some whispers. He slowly remembered the events that happened last night. 'I finally understand what the phrase 'one at a time' means. That hurt.' He sat up and was about to move when something pushed him back onto the bed. He was confused until he finally realized something.

"I can't see?"
