1 The servant girl

Her hair was a dark brown wearing a torn and dirty crop top and shorts along her waist along with a permanent look of disgust "you, come" "fuck you" she flipped off the Captain walking away "I said now" she pressed her necklace. The servant got off the ground with a look of pure hatred "yes your Highness" "sit and listen" she remained standing fighting the urge to hit the woman in silence "you heard me" she gave off a stern look in hopes to scare her "since we're demanding things, stop shocking me" she took a seat jumping up wanting to kill her even more than usual. Late that night she held her husband and daughter close trying not to lose them like the crew making up stories so Dani can sleep and smile. The three were caught together and made slaves to a cruel angel "no one will hurt you as long as your father's with you" she told her daughter before receiving a shock to her ankle to report to duty "I gotta go before it starts to hurt" she kissed Dani's forehead and her husband running to her quarters. Her workday was filled with sarcasm and trying not to murder anyone.

The year was 2020 and she worked at a makeup company as vice president "hails you busy" he peeked her head up from the computer "not at the moment, playing solitary" he hopped on the desk and kissed her hand "stop it he'll find out" she was blushing avoiding kisses before she returned home to a lonely penthouse to watch tv alone. She made a quick meal, did her nightly workout, and sat in front of the tv until she fell asleep but tonight she woke up to a buzzing from the elevator "please stop making that sound it woke me up" "girl let ya boo thing in" she buzzed the person in with one eye closed, the doors opened to an average height man with Auburn brown hair, full tex, and holding roses "raven you had to wake me" he smiled handing her the flowers "yes Cyrus was asleep and I couldn't get you off my mind, my lady may I have this dance" she chuckled burying her head in his chest as they swayed around the floor "what if he finds out about us" "then I won't let him touch you" they were lovesick fools and something about this felt right to her. Raven snuck into her office several times a day when Cyrus was out just to be around her but he made one mistake by leaving his t-shirt at her house and Cyrus finding it on the couch "that was from a sleepover we had" he managed to snag the shirt throwing to in her purse "you two sure have a lot of sleepovers" she was sweating afraid to lose her job while raven had nothing to lose because his bank account was loaded with half of Cyrus's earning "don't let me break up a friendship" she offered him tea pulling raven to the guest bedroom. They started fighting from her own fear "listen I'm sorry, shouldn't we just tell him" "I could lose my job for this" she could sense her face turning red so she shut her mouth "what if I just tell him I'm in love with you because I am" she grabbed the tissue box to dry the anger tears "it's up to you" he smiled and hugged her knowing it pained her to see raven kiss him. When they weren't in the same room they were texting each other goofy little messages "Hailey, meeting at 3 today" "thank you sherry" she continued playing solitary on the computer taking a small break from forms and checking the clock "sherry hold my calls I'm leaving" her receptionist nodded calmly as she left out the door with her coat.

The meeting was over lunch in a crowded restaurant and Tommy was running around the table like a five-year-old "sit down Jackass" she slammed a knife into the table returning it to one of the workers "ok finish eating and get out, company card" she paid for them returning to her office annoyed at the people she used to manage. A few weeks passed and raven still hadn't told his boyfriend, the idea for the company was ravens but he knew he didn't have what it took to run a business, therefore, half the earnings for the credit and Hailey owned 30 percent leaving Cyrus 20 percent. The day raven told him he ran into her arms as a stapler flew across the shared door "you son of a bitch, I gave you a home" before he could get closer with his gun she pulled hers "move, he's mine" "no, you can shot me though" she made an easy headshot with a bullet going straight through her arm "why would you take a bullet for me" he tried wrapping the hole up "let's just say it's my sick way of saying I love you too" he got her patched up and smiled. Hailey felt the old wound with the first time she said those faithful words to him marking the official beginning of their love and her taking all the responsibility's and reviewing the videotape of the incident "we have sound and video from both offices, you'll see I was just protecting myself and this guy" work was stopped until the cops finished watching the security footage proving it was all in defense. By the age of 20 she was CEO of the company killing the boss she never liked to begin with and a perfect new relationship "are you listening to me" the woman punched her arm "of course violence, killing, and lotting" she rolled her eyes glancing at the map. Dani wasn't in the room at bedtime worrying her "she was behind me getting here" "ok well you stay here" she ran out listening for the voice "I should be getting to bed sir" a shaky child's voice followed by footsteps lead Hailey to charge in grabbing her child "don't you touch her, sweety run to our bed daddy's waiting" she tapped Dani's shoulder giving the man a stern look until her daughter was safe.

Raven moved in after selling everything that belonged to Cyrus "no more hiding" the windows were opened in full as he kissed her "stop it, it's embarrassing" he stood with his back to the counter "oh, now you're embarrassed" chuckling staring at the last box in the living room. Raven brought it to the guest room following her separate room rule till marriage "hey dad, how'd she leave it" his face read complete disgust showing her pictures "trashy all because you got transferred to new york and in art school" Hailey signaled to stop talking about her starting to talk about family matters and personal jokes until raven snuck up behind her "whos that" Hailey's face read 'shit' all over it "that's raven, my boyfriend" she studdered not wanting to look In the camera one bit. The next week her dad flew out to meet raven but Hailey made it in a busy place so he couldn't get frustrated "so dad just be peaceful, I ordered for everyone" Hailey's favorite restaurant was an authentic Japanese one ran by the sweetest old Asian couple that looked around 33 but we're both in their 60's "thank you" the two boys talked getting to know each other being surprisingly calm to how he acted toward anyone she dated. Hailey gave her room to her dad for the night sleeping on the couch waking up to a note and made bed 'my flight was earlier than expected, Ill call you' the note ended with a p.s saying remember to smile and a drawing of a smiley face "you Duffus" her dad was the only real parent around growing up so she only took advice from him. Hailey's dad joked about why couldn't have the beautiful guest room "dad, that's because it's not a guest room anymore, it's ravens room" she laughed knowing it was all a joke for him "oh he's moved in" she told him they dated for 1 year and a half not fully justify why he lived there, they enjoyed each others company being lonely together after not being able to see each other at work.

The crew gathered every servant from their quarters at the sight of a dead member "this one" Hailey was dragged to the captain's room "why the hell did you get me" she hit the man's hand off her shoulder being slammed to sit on the couch "this was your handy work, I know it" she yelled at her "how do you know, and get out of my face" she knee'd the captain's stomach making her fall to the ground and a fight amongst them "fine I killed him, you cater to criminals you deal with the consciences" she took her last blow to the captain running to her family. She had been planning the escape under her family's nose while they sleep somehow contacting their ship "I'm in deep shit, I attacked her" everyone in the boiler room helped her any way possible asking if they could join her when she's out "the question is if I have enough rooms but id love to" she arranged for the ship to come by around 1:30 am. Hailey triple checked if everyone was asleep grabbing the bags seeing the ship in the distance and alerting everyone she intended to take "you two stay here" throwing the small bag in their arms getting the boiler room guys showing them the ship's silhouette in the distance, they all excitingly went to a shady area jumping on following raven and Dani "ah fucking dick cunt" Hailey was the last one on the lifeboat signaling for the boat to leave with an eye look with her arm in a heavy lock "let's see should I chew the arm off or let my circulation cut off" she made a snarky comment to the man on her arm "you're coming back with me" Hailey calmly stared at him punching his Adam's apple and kneeing his balls swimming away to her ship and safety. The second she stepped foot on the ship she demanded a knife, an onboard doctor, and a traveling water animal "trackers will either electricity the animal or throw them off course, either way, good for us" her cuts were being treated forcing the devices down the shark's throat trying not to get her hand bitten off "meet the new members introduce yourselves" she started to pass out hearing the new people say their names trying to keep conciseness. Most of the women sleep in a large room with bunks bolted to the wall, the same with the men, others had small private rooms with one bed, and only families had the suites. Raven and Hailey bought the cruise ship shortly after they married just to live on selling the penthouse finding she was pregnant 2 years into owning the boat, Hailey had her co-captain direct them out of trouble "hey momma" Dani ran Captain wheel "hey baby girl" she hopped on the dash smiling watching the wheel turn "I wanna be captain when I grow up" "you might dear" the co-captain stood bye ready to beep the doctor at any sight of any blood leaking just sailing across to see any souls in need of help.

Dani was almost a year old learning to walk when the two got alerts about economics and job pay not enough to pay for the cheapest roach-infested motel for a week so they decided to open the cruise ship for travel providing jobs and enjoyment at low prices for others. The family adopted a stray cat that always came to the boat begging for food "such a pretty baby here you go" Dani was learning to walk holding on to the rails as Hailey pet the calico cat eating "momma" she stood at the baby gate wanting to be with the kitty "hang on, be gentle dear" Hailey put her down next to the cat but she just sat quietly staring at it with joy. Dani still held the old cat which she named "are you ok bones" the cat was hers and had always looked at her as if that was his mom, she liked watching her mom understanding the captain position. Later in the week, the ship had mail delivered and a letter was told to go directly to Hailey "does it say who it came from" raven stayed in the office and asked about the letter "it doesn't say" civilization was on the slow way of getting back to before after a new election but too slow for normal jobs and homes. Hailey had Dani on her shoulders laughing "whys dad running you always said not to run on the boat" "I don't know go play, maybe help with the fish" she put her down stopping raven in his tracks reminding him of the rules, he had an envelope that looked open "and this is" eyeing the paper in his hands "it's a letter from your dad" she finally took it skimming the letter and putting it in her pocket for later. Her desk had an old almost dusty picture of her at 10 on her dad's shoulder pre-scar both of them wearing a smile at an amusement park nearest the city taken by her grandparents and the elder siblings somewhere in the background "he took all of us out with grandpa and grandma that day" she responded to Raven question about it 'dear daughter, I'm glad to see your happy and I need more pictures of my granddaughter. Your mom ran away with the priest and we split up, I also moved to a weird town not too far away from our old home that has a weird crest everyone seems to praise.' He left a map of the place and a few pictures of him and his boyfriend staying up to date with her which made her smile.
