8 Hunter's Skill

Ethan sent his sword towards the retreating panda,but the panda managed to dodge once again.

The striking and dodging continued for a long time,until suddenly Ethan found a flaw that left the left arm of the panda unguarded.

Ethan sent his sword darting not towards the arm but the panda's heart.

The panda could not dodge the attack but could only defend itself.

The panda decided to use its left arm to block the attack since it was closer to its heart.

Seeing this,made Ethan grow a cheeky smile on his face.

Ethan's sword was very close to the panda's arm that anyone who watched them would be so certain that the sword would pierce the panda's arm.

But suddenly,Ethan shook his wrist and changed his posture.

He moved his left leg a bit forward and stamped his right leg behind his left leg.

He pulled his moving sword backward and motioned his hand in a strange pattern which succeeded in helping Ethan position the blade of the sheathed sword under his left arm.

Ethan's left arm dropped due to the weight of the sword but Ethan quickly supported it with his right arm.

The change happened in few seconds that the panda was still expecting the sword to stab its arm.

Ethan took a quick step forward and turned his sword in an arc which went directly for the panda's left arm.

The panda had shock written on its face it just came to the reasoning of Ethan's plan,but it was too late.

The sword darted towards the panda's arm with a destructive momentum ready to slice.

SWISH.....

The sword proved itself once again as it sliced through the arm of the panda like a butchers knife slicing through beef.

"Hahahahahaha"

The panda screamed in agony,the anger in the panda's eyes had all transformed into intense pain.

The panda immediately leaped towards a tree in retreat.

Ethan didn't chase the panda,that's even if he can.

The skill he used against the panda was one of the skills recorded in the hunters technique of their clan.

His clan though poor still managed to put heads together and form a technique.

But the technique was crude and not suitable to be used against humans.

It was majorly built to be used against beasts.

But the one which Ethan used against the panda was a more refined one.

It was precisely refined by Ethan,after years of practicing he had made some amends and changes to the skill transforming it to a brand new one.

The azure flame helped to boost his speed while the sword did the herculean job of tearing through the panda's bone.

He could have just sliced the arm directly since it was unguarded in the first place.

But that would not be wise, Ethan was pretty sure the panda would be able to defend perfectly if he had just made a strike for its left arm directly.

So that was why Ethan played a little mind game with it, he changed the direction of the attack just to fool it.

And the panda as expected fell for it,doing that even made the arm more open for attack,the panda stared at Ethan with trepidation in it's eyes.

Its eyes went towards the sword and the fear in its eyes doubled.

Ethan's sword had successfully transformed it into a king clawless one armed panda.

The panda stared at Ethan one last time before it leaped into the forest.

Ethan sighed and cancelled the flame,he was happy the panda left itself,he was not planning to kill it at all, the king clawed panda only wanted revenge for the death of its family.

And anybody would do that not caring who was wrong or right.

Ethan stared at his sword and screamed in happiness.

He felt his courage double,he felt his self building a connection with his sword,it felt strange but Ethan felt it was wonderful.

He believed he was not at the same level of power as an average elemental warrior.

Ethan stared at the corpse around him and smiled bitterly,this would bring a lot of money for his clan if he could sell it especially the arm of the king clawed panda.

But he could not carry it along,his only option is to cut some few important parts away from the dead clawed pandas.

Ethan brought out a bag made from animal skin from his garment and at first began to search for the broken claws of the king clawed panda before he dealt with the carcass of the pandas.

Feng and the two other boys were not as clean and fresh as they were previously,they had stains of blood all over their garments.

Feng had an obtrusive change in aura,his aura had a hint of viciousness in it, coupled with his previous aura of haughtiness made him appear intimidating.

Suddenly the boys were struck by an awful smell resulting to them clipping their noses with their hands.

"Such awful smell,it might be emanating from the carcass of a beast or a human"

Said the fiery red haired boy with irritation in his tone.

"It think the source of the smell is directly ahead of us,we should probably check it out" said the second lad whose name is Damon as he pointed towards a path ahead of them.

"No!! we shouldn't what if....." protested the fiery haired boy,but was cut shut by a wicked stare from Feng.

"Damon go check it out" said Feng.

Damon nodded and raced towards the path where he assumed the smell came from.

Damon spent few minutes before he came running back with shock written on his face.

He bent down for a few seconds to catch his breath before he delivered the cause of his shock.

"There is a bunch of dead clawed pandas over there,it appears to be a whole group of clawed pandas"

Feng had a bit of shock on his face which was undiscovered by both Damon and the fiery haired boy as he immediately got rid of it.

"It must be an expert or a deadly Sedron beast that performed this act,it seems we have gone too deep in the forest we should probably go back"

Said Damon with fear written on his face what he saw seemed to have had a bad influence on his courage.

The fiery haired boy dared not to speak but he was as expected scared.

"You cowards!!!,getting scared just at the sight of dead clawed pandas, idiots is what you should be called"

Said Feng in anger as he walked towards the path where Damon saw the dead pandas.

The two boys behind stared at each other with fear in their eyes,they could only take in a deep breath and follow Feng.
