7 Battle

Ethan had only two options, one was to cultivate patiently in the mist in hope that the king clawed panda would run out perseverance and leave.

The second option which Ethan would not love to take was to fight the beast.

Ethan didn't think to deep about it,he instantly made his decision,which is to cultivate patiently in the mist.

Ethan sat on the ground in a lotus position without much ado,and began to absorb ring power around him.

The process of cultivation took longer than normal due to the fact that Ethan had to control the mist with ring power.

Meaning he was absorbing and dispensing at the same time.

Ethan opened his eyes and stared outside the mist hoping to see the king clawed panda gone.

But he was entirely disappointed when he saw the angry looking panda which seemed to have not lost any bit of patience.

Ethan was cursing the king clawed panda badly in his heart,which kind of damn beast is this.

Ethan rose in a frustrated manner,he was getting irked by the thought of the panda.

It should just leave him,it wasn't an intentional attempt killing the entire panda's group.

If he hadn't done that his bones would have been fed upon.

But the panda would not understand this,it only wanted revenge and nothing but that.

Ethan stared at the sky through the mist,the clouds where beginning to grow dark,and the sun was ready to return to the horizon.

If he doesn't leave here in few more hours he would be entrapped here by the darkness of the night which would be more horrific than his present situation.

He was in an open land and any beast could tread this path,even beasts that are far stronger than the king clawed panda could also pass.

The night was very dangerous in a place like a Sedron forest.

Ethan rose up and wiped the dust that had accumulated on his garment due to sitting on the ground countless times.

He inhaled heavily he had no other choice than to face the panda,he is a warrior and a warrior must face challenges not run.

He felt as though the whole world was pressing on him,he only found hope and strength in the body of his sheathed blade.

Ethan stared at the mad looking beast and breathed in one last bold breath.

His next action was filled with determination and boldness.

He cancelled the azure mist,which dispersed in few seconds to reveal the gallant looking Ethan.

The king clawed panda seeing this roared with revengeful happiness.

The panda wasted no time as it leaped into the air towards Ethan.

"Haahaha"

Ethan screamed and raced towards the direction of the panda with a strange calculated speed which was far less than his normal speed.

The panda in few seconds covered a distance of fifty meters and was ready to land just few meters away from the racing Ethan.

But suddenly Ethan doubled his speed and without any warning leaped into the air high above the panda which had almost landed on the ground.

It was a sudden move that shocked the panda badly,Ethan was truly experienced to be able to scheme perfectly.

Ethan descended towards the king clawed panda with his huge sword chopping down like a butcher's knife.

The panda could not attack Ethan in air but could only defend itself with its huge claws covering its head from danger.

CLANK...

The clash echoed a sound like that of metal striking metal but another sonorous sound echoed after.

CRACK..

The sound emitted not from Ethan's sword but from the king clawed panda's claw.

Part of its durable claw that took the attack was broken into pieces.

Ethan immediately drifted back from the panda as soon as he landed on the ground.

All this happened in few seconds,all that played was not actually a game of speed but of wisdom.

But the force that played the most part is Ethan's sword.

Ethan stared at his sword as though he has seen a ghost,it actually could break the claw of a king clawed panda.

The claws of a king clawed panda were so strong that they were sometimes refined and used to make daggers which were rated as treasures.

The beast groaned in pain its bony broken claw was bleeding profusely, it stared at Ethan with more anger burning in its eyes.

If looks could kill Ethan would have died a thousand times.

Trepidation had no place again in Ethan's heart it was replaced with excitement and boldness.

Ethan discovering how amazing his sword was,wasted no time as he raced towards the king clawed panda.

His body while racing began to burn in an azure flame which somehow gave Ethan more boldness.

Ethan slashed his flaming sword towards the panda,the panda received the attack by throwing its fist towards the incoming sword.

Boom...

Ethan was sent few steps back while the panda's fist received some more serious damages.

Ethan darted towards the panda once again and sent his sword,the panda didn't wait for Ethan to reach it,it also pounced towards Ethan.

Boom.... Boom... Boom.....

Ethan's sword and the panda's claw clashed several times with the panda losing its claw at every clash.

Ethan's nose was bleeding due to the force carried by the strength of the panda.

Though Ethan was in the winning side he still suffered from lack of enough body strength.

Surprisingly the azure flame was able to grant him a speed that could match and counter the king clawed panda's own.

The panda was in a very bad state, its body was filled with punctures and serious injuries.

The panda threw its one clawed fist towards Ethan, Ethan blocked the attack with the broad side of his sword.

CRACK.

The panda screamed in pain,its claw broke immediately after striking the sword.

The panda had lost all of it's claw to Ethan's sword its hands were bleeding profusely.

Ethan took this opportunity and sent the sword in an arc towards the panda's arm.

The panda was quick to react it immediately circumvented the attack.

But Ethan didn't give up,he pushed towards the panda giving it no space he once again sent his flaming sword.
