4 Azure Mist

Ethan was shocked badly he could not believe his eyes,Ethan could not understand how the sword was able to slice through the tough bones of the tiger so easily without the slightest resistance .

Even though the tiger was a wild beast it still possessed tough bones that weapons needed to strike it severally before they could pierce through it.

But his sword which was covered in a scabbard was able to slice the tiger as though it was tofu.

Ethan's previous anger had disappeared into thin air,he was beginning to find his sword very interesting.

Another thing that baffled Ethan was that the blood from the tiger didn't stick to the body of the scabbard but rather slid down .

Ethan raised his sword and moved towards a nearby tree he needed to ascertain if the scabbard was as sharp as he presumed.

He stroked the sword towards the tree, he was planning to slice the tree with his sword to verify if the incident with the tiger was not some kind of luck.

The sword proved to be efficient as it easily sliced through the tree.

Ethan raced to a safe spot to prevent been hit by the descending tree.

Boooom..

The tree landed on the ground evoking dust and a enormous sound that echoed probably through out the forest.

Ethan was breathing heavily from excitement, he stared at the sword in a new light he could not help but wonder how sharp the blade of the sword would be if the scabbard was as sharp as this .

Ethan with his experience knew that this surrounding was no longer safe, as the sound from the fall of the tree would attract several Sedron beast or even humans who were hunting in the forest .

Apart from that the blood of the wild tiger was enough to attract dangerous beast.

Ethan sped towards another path different from the one he intended to take before.

Three young boys strapped in colourful robes could be seen walking in a forest suddenly a resounding booming sound echoed through out the forest.

BOOM....

Two of the boys were frightened by the noise but the lad in the middle was surprisingly indifferent.

"What was that" said one of the young lads.

"It might be a battle between two elite Sedron beast, we should get out of here"

This words where said by a fiery red haired boy he had fear written on his face, the expression on his face showed that he was probably forced to come to the forest.

But his words where rebuked with a slap from the lad who stood in the middle,he was probably the leader the group.

"We are not running,we would continue our training,I don't know exactly what it is but my word still stands we are not running"

Said the lad in the middle as he stared at the fearful boy with disgust,he was an handsome one with dark pitch hair and crystal eyeballs.

He had an aura of pride around him,even his words were spoken arrogantly.

He must be someone very special in his clan.

"As you wish,Feng"Chorused the two other boys with different emotions carried in their tone,but Feng cared not.

Ethan could be seen holding his sheathed sword in a battle mode.

Standing on a tree ahead of him is an average size panda with blood red fur,it had extremely sharp claws with whiskers like that of a cat.

The panda is the famous Clawed Panda,it is a Sedron beast and not a wild beast like the tiger which Ethan killed.

it is a level one Sedron beast which is compared to new warriors like Ethan.

Ethan's heart was beating twice than normal,not because he is scared of the beast,even though beast tends to be a bit stronger than warriors on the same rank as them.

The problem was that beast like this clawed panda always move in group.

Daring to face a group of clawed panda at his level of cultivation is more of seeking death.

It seems the clawed panda before Ethan strayed away from its group.

Ethan needs to get rid of it fast before it alarms it group.

The panda bared its teeth at Ethan with viciousness in its eyes,much expected of a beast it was preparing to have Ethan for lunch.

It jumped down from the tree with great agility and raced towards Ethan immediately with a mind blowing speed.

One peculiar thing about clawed panda is their speed.

"Don't disappoint me" said Ethan to his sword.

He didn't race towards the panda but stood on the same spot.

The panda was just two meters away from Ethan when suddenly a thick azure mist poured out of Ethan's body into the surrounding.

The mist moved like a sea as it immediately covered the panda.

The sea of mist didn't stop there it continued moving until it had covered a distance of twenty metres.

Ethan had his mouth ajar,he was shocked at the distance which the mist covered.

He had waited for the panda to get near him so he would release his crystal mist which in normal circumstances is suppose to cover only five metres at his level.

Ethan read a lot so he knew about the abilities of different elements,celestial bodies and Sedron beast.

Ethan was beginning to have second thought about his talents,he was beginning wonder if they were truly what they claimed to be.

His sheathed sword was strange now this crystal mist appeared extraordinary.

He was amazed,his vision in the mist was more clearer than normal.

He could see every single particles that make up the crystal mist through his eyes.

The panda was roaring in fear as it was waving its claw frantically .

It acted as though it could not see,it could not actually see due to the mist.

It was one of the abilities of the mist it could block one's vision when one was caught in it .

The phenomenon was actually funny the wielder was blessed with brighter vision while the entrapped being would be doomed with poor vision.

From what Ethan could see it seems the beast could not see any single thing,normally it should be able to cover a distance of about two meters.

Ethan had a cheeky smile on his face,the panda was in trouble.

He suddenly had more hope in getting admitted into the district sect.

He sped towards the panda he had no time to waste.

His sword was already upon the panda within the blink of an eye.

Ethan's prediction was perfect the panda's vision was completely blocked.

Ethan's gigantic sword proved its lordship again as it tore through the body of the panda like tofu.
