31 Chapter 31

I looked my surroundings and saw that I was in the front row seating area. I looked forward to a pale looking Cielo. Behind him were my parents along with Estrella and Cielo's parents.

After the real me made it to the end of the aisle, my heart started racing. The ceremony had started.

As Cielo and I started saying our vows, the revolutions entered.

I stood and forced a smile on my face.

"You guys came in too early" As if I didn't know they'd do this. "Oh, well. This just means that the revolution will have to start earlier than expected"

I walked down the aisle and rushed away from the fight that would soon go down.

I waited outside in the garden and looked up towards the sky.

It should be here soon…there it is!

A giant aircraft came barreling across the sky and a white light soon followed. After it had left, I sat down and waited for the fight to end.

After a few moments, I hear footsteps further across the garden.

Looks like Luna and Cielo had escaped already and just like I had instructed, the revolutions were chasing them.

I stood and walked further from the building, not wanting to hear or witness what was going to happen so on enough.

I hear footsteps following me halfway out the garden. Not caring, I keep walking. I already know who it is and I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me terrified.

Once I was out of the garden I felt a hand on my shoulder pull me back. I lose my balance and fall to the ground. I look up to see the King of Kalkan, my father.

"I knew it was you. I should actually thank you, you know. After those little brats leave, these kingdoms will be mine to rule alone." He smiled

I smirked "I'm sure you've had visions of the future as well. You know what's going to happen."

He laughed "But that's the thing! If I know the future! Then I know how to change it!"

I shook my head "No matter what happens, the future will never change. You've tried it before and failed. Just give it up already!"

He raised the sword he stole from the Queen of Kardas above me and swung down as he yelled "Never!"

My hand fell numb. I looked down and saw it laying on the ground.

I've seen this scenario several times as a child before but it's still terrifying to see your hand laying on the ground.

I cried out in pain and toppled over. I looked up at my father as he swung the blade across my arm, legs, and anything else he could reach.

My head felt light and I felt weak. I laid my head on the ground and whispered "Sorry Luna. I tried to change the future. I really did"

I woke up in a cold sweat. My heart was racing and my breathing was erratic.

I could hear someone holding me and whispering "It's okay. You're fine. You're safe"

I calmed my breathing and my heart beat went back to normal. Well…as normal as one could get when the person you love is holding you. What is going on and why didn't someone wake me up sooner?!

I looked up at Estrella who peered down at me at the same time. Our noses accidentally touched and I looked away. My face warmed but I stole a glance back up. Estrella had also turned away but her hair hid her face. I looked back down and I couldn't stop smiling.

Estrella cleared her throat and said "Eh…so you had a nightmare?"

Right…I had forgotten about that.

"I…I think I saw my sister get murdered…by my father"
