The War

Hikaru graduated with the best honors and returned home, his family didn't noticed that it was him. His physical appearance changed alot. His hair grew longer, his complexion became fairer and he was taller than before. He was still humble and more decent and modest.

On his first month, he helped the villagers as well as his family in their livestock and farming skills. Three months later he called all male villagers from 16 years old above, they were taught on both swordsmanship and archery. And the next months he taught the women on how to treat wounds.

It seems that he was preparing everybody for a war.

After six months, he was finally able to bond with his family Aiomi, Yuki and Hikaru finally had time to reunite.

Yuki was prettier, she was not skinny anymore, she wore make up now since she was assisting the queen. Aiomi was now fair in complexion, he was no longer brown in complexion, he looked young despite of working in the farm.

Few months later, there was a war between countries. Some of the villagers left the place for their own safety.

Aiomi and Hikaru saved their parents from the war.

Yuki was summoned a month ahead to escort the queen and the princess to their safety. Unfortunately, they were captured by the enemies. Aiomi, who trained under Hikaru, started to fight back to save his friends, Hikaru led the villagers and their parents to the safest place in the village which only Hikaru and Aiomi knew : their hideout.

Those who were trained  fought, the woundeds were treated by the women who were taught by Hikaru.

When they had the chance they attacked the enemies' barracks. Arrows flew, swords clash, bloods scattered and screams of pain and anger were heard.

It took days for the enemy to leave. Hikaru, Aiomi and the others had succeeded.

Almosr everything in the village was ruined. Hikaru, Aiomi and the others who fought was devastated by the view. They search for anything they can salvage.

The villagers were safe and the hideout was safe enough and was able to support their needs for the next three days.

Bloods and corpses were seen everywhere, as they search for food and other survivors. Hikaru saw his brother  on his knees, crying. He approached him and he saw Yuki and the other villagers who were dead.

Many were orphaned, some of the villagers who hid in their hideout left the village. The others started to search for the royal family.

Few days later, they saw the dead king, he was fighting that time too. His sword was kept by the village chief. Villagers speculated that Queen Euphamea and her daughter , Destiny, were still alive.

Hikaru, Aiomi and the others buried the corpses and gave their respects; they started to rebuild the village again.

The siblings were called by their father, Jin. He was sad and mourning, " Y-your mother…" then he shook his head 'no'. The brothers trembled. Their tears flowed down their cheeks, their knees started to shake and both fell down to their knees.

"Your mother was murdered, I thought she was in the hideout, however the survivor told me that she's with Yuki. She saved the queen and the princess" Jin explained while weeping, then the brothers sobbed.

Days have passed, they saw Destiny, the royal daughter, in the village. She went to the graveyard, she paid respect to the people and to her father who died saving them.

Destiny held a ceremony in the palace, inviting everyone. The brothers were recognized too as heroes. The village chief gave the King's sword to Destiny. This will mean that Destiny is the new ruler of the kingdom.
