Two days quickly passed as the clan made preparations to head to the secret realm.

In these two days was reading up on the information gathered up by the clan on the various young cultivators and upcoming genius in the Beast Realm. It had been Bai Heng's idea for the clan to set up a large number of inns, bars and rest houses all over the world under the name of merchant clan which served under the Bai Clan. It took 2000 years to step by step set up a large number of businesses all over the realm while removing any traces of the Bai Clan in the process to dissuade any suspicions. Even the merchant clan was said to have been removed from their dependence on the Bai Clan and became an independent entity which only does business and maintains neutrality.

Bai Heng made all the subordinates in the merchant clan and the important workers in the inns, learn how to gather information from the guests. All members were made to swear lifeblood oaths and he based the service of the establishments on the service industry of Earth where the customer is God. The plan was a monumental success and a vast information network was setup. All the people even the mortals knew about the Gladiolus name and all important people stayed and dined with them. After all, a mortal ant who can be killed off in an instant can never learn anything important, cultivators were generally arrogant which led to carelessness but this was still not foolproof as many cultivators were very cautious and suspicious too.

Currently, the network was in process of expanding to different realms and remote regions. One thing which the clan never expected was the massive profit from the businesses which improved the lives of the Bai Clan and it's subordinate clans lives significantly.

The information in Bai Heng's hand was mainly about cultivators who had great battle records which included those affiliated with factions and even vagrant cultivators. There were no inconsistencies in the information except one individual who was highlighted.

'Name : Ye Jing

Race : Human

Affiliation : Ye Family. Southern Islands

Strength : Venerated Immortal (Can fight higher level enemies)

History: Born as the bastard son of Clan Head Ye. Treated harshly since birth. Mother died when 5 years old due to sickness. Left to die at age 12 and thrown into the ocean by Heir of Ye Family

Miraculously survived. Significant increase in cultivation speed and talent. Killed many members of Ye Family and their enemies. Possession of treasures several levels above strength. Survived assault of stronger cultivators multiple times even when death was virtually guaranteed.

Important Points: Suspicious relationship with prime disciple of Quiet Moon Pavillion (Yue Wei) who has protected his life before.'

'This guy is the main character. The entire document reeks of this smell. If I recall the Ocean Emperor was killed by the Soul Sect in the Southern Islands. I bet this kid found his soul or legacy or something similar. If I inform the Soul Sect, this will become fun.'

"Looks like it's time."(Bai Heng)

Bai Heng flew towards the entrance of the Clan grounds and patiently waited there for the rest to arrive. After a few minutes of waiting, the Sixth Elder also came to the location while leading five people who were dressed in white robes with swords on their backs. The Sixth Elder came and nodded towards Bai Heng and said

"Elder Heng. These will be the disciples who will travel with you. I hope they will not trouble you.(Sixth Elder)

"Thank you, Sixth Elder. I will take care of them from now on. You can report back to the Clan Head."(Bai Heng)

"Goodbye. I wish you a safe journey"(Sixth Elder)

Bai Heng didn't bother to respond and looked towards the five disciples who were looking at him nervously except for Bai Xi. He smiled and said:

"We will be heading out to the secret realm. In the secret realm, follow the lead of Bai Xi. There will be a lot of cultivators from various backgrounds. I hope to see you alive at the end of the exploration. Before we leave, Introduce yourselves." (Bai Heng)

"I am Bai Xi. Peak Venerated Immortal Stage"

'I have to be extra careful this time. If uncle goes out everyone will be dazzled by his handsomeness. What should I do?'

"Elder, I am Bai Chong. Late Venerated Immortal Stage"

"Bai Juyi. Late Venerated Immortal Stage"

"My name is Bai Jing. Late Venerated Immortal Stage"

Bai Heng led to a large formation set up outside the gate. This was the space formation used by the Bai Clan which can connect to another space formation anywhere in the Beast Realm as long the coordinates are known. Once everybody was inside, Bai Heng activated the formation without any delay. Everybody inside the formation felt a sensation of vertigo for a second and then found themselves on a large mountain overlooking a large city on the banks of a river.

Bai Heng could see the excitement in the eyes of the youngsters and interrupted their thoughts

"We are currently in Red River City. The secret realm is an hour's journey by flight. Let's go, we are not stopping by the city."(Bai Heng)

As soon he said that the eyes of the five of them, lost their light and they lost all their enthusiasm.

Bai Heng laughed at their expressions and said:

"You can stop by the city and explore it after you are out of the secret realm. There is a underground market in the city where you can try your luck maybe you can find some treasures."

Upon hearing this, they instantly regained their energy. Bai Xi immediately ran to Bai Heng and hugged his arm while smiling

"Uncle. Let's go together. You have to buy me some treasures too. I heard my father did this for my mother before their marriage quite often."(Bai Xi)

"Sure. If I have the time."( Bai Heng)

'This is perfect. Uncle will accompany me for the whole day. Maybe I should get him drunk and take him to bed. After the rice is cooked, you can't change anything.'

While the exchange was happening, the rest of the disciples from the clan looked at Bai Xi weirdly

'Even though it sounds normal at first glance. Didn't she just say something weird?'

The 6 of them flew together towards the secret realm while attracting a lot of gazes from other cultivators because the Bai Clan was very famous in this region. As people from the Bai Clan always wore spotless white robes and carried a sword on their body.

At a valley near Red River City, 3 large groups of cultivators were congregating. They were the members of the Quiet Moon Pavillion, Lei Family and the Blood Church. They were dressed in silver, purple and red robes respectively. The leader of the Quiet Moon Pavillion was a extremely charming woman with an alluring face that could cause any man to lose his mind in her beauty, while the Lei Clan was led by a fierce looking, middle-aged man with lightning crackling around his body and the leader of the Blood Church was completely covered in a red robe and anyone who went near him could smell a bloody scent.

The middle-aged man glanced towards the other factions and commented:

"Looks like only the Bai Clan is left."

The woman from the Pavillion just nodded her head while the person from the Blood Church replied:

"They should be here any minute now."

The middle-aged man nodded in response and no one spoke after that and the area descended into a tense silence.

Suddenly they heard voice shouting:

"Look!look! The Bai Clan is here."

When the people looked over they saw a white haired youth with a face handsome enough to make others blush in shame leading a group of 5 people.

The group came near the other factions and the youth smiled and greeted everybody:"

"Looks like we are late. Sorry about that. It seems everyone is here so shall we start?"(Bai Heng)

The leaders of the other factions scrutinized the youth carefully before nodding their heads

The man from the Lei Clan walked forward to the entrance and flew up so everyone could see him clearly

"Everyone. The secret realm will be opened in some time. The disciples from the sects will enter first while vagrant cultivators shall be allowed entry after 30 minutes. All treasures inside will belong to those who can carry them out. Any objections?"

No one responded

"Good. Then Let's Begin"

At that time someone shouted out:

"WAIT!!!"

Everyone looked in that direction and saw a tall young man with long hair tied in a knot, spear in hand walking towards the entrance. He looked extremely confident and relaxed like nothing could affect him.

"This is unfair. Why can the sects enter early? This means you guys can take all the treasures while we vagrant cultivators won't receive anything."

The middle-aged man's face had an unsightly expression

"Kid. Who are you? This realm was discovered by the sects and you should be grateful that we allow you to enter."

The young man was unruffled gaining him looks of admiration from the audience while many women looked at him with an interested gaze.

"My name is Ye Jing. The realm was left by a senior for everybody. You do not get the rights to hoard it." (Ye Jing)

When the man heard this, his face became red with anger and just when he was about to shout back. He heard a gentle laugh when everyone looked at that direction, they saw the man from the Bai Clan laughing while looking at Ye Jing. He smiled and slowly walked towards him.

Ye Jing saw the man and put on an provocative expression and shouted:"What do you find funny? Do you think you can act as you please? Just because of your background."

Bai Heng saw this and smiled even wider while thinking 'typical delusional brat'

He walked in front of Ye Jing looked at him and then said:

"Life is unfair. Deal with it"(Bai Heng)

After he finished, Bai Heng walked away while there was a pin drop silence everywhere.

Ye Jing looked at the man and instantly lost himself in anger while thinking'Life is unfair, What do you know about it? You think you are better than me. I will kill you'

Instantly he moved his spear to thrust forward but before he could act, he was crushed face first into the ground and he heard a calm voice

"Sneak attacking a opponent who is showing you his back. Don't you like talk about fairness and justice that did not look very fair to me. Since you attacked me first, then I can kill you right?"(Bai Heng)

Ye Jing who heard that cal voice was instantly terrified: 'Who is this man? Even master cannot reveal such pressure.' He immediately activated his life saving treasure which would allow him to escape at immense speeds but before the treasure activated, he heard a cracking sound and to his horror saw his treasure transforming to dust.

Ye Jing panicked and activated all his treasures which could save his life

"CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!". They were several cracking sounds and a whole bunch of treasures which were just released were scattered to dust. Ye Jing grew even more desperate and shouted in his mind. 'Master!Master! I need your help. We are in danger'

Immediately everyone noticed Ye Jing's body release a formidable current of energy. He immediately stood up and tried to flee from the horrifying man but before he made it a few meters; He fell face first into the ground again.

"You have a lot of treasures and can even release power several times stronger than your actual realm. Is this your confidence? Is this why you challenged us? Unfortunately, it is not enough to save your life" (Bai Heng)

As he said this, Bai Heng slowly walked towards Ye Jing while releasing a thin blade made of Qi from his hand. But he immediately stopped , because he saw the leader of the Quiet Moon Pavillion stand in front of Ye Jing.

"Your Excellency Bai. Please quell your anger, he is but a kid who doesn't understand true power. Can you give me some face and let him go? You need not dirty your hands with this trash."

Bai Heng saw this and smiled while thinking 'The information was correct looks like this brat is extremely lucky. Yue Wei actually dares to stand against the Bai Clan to protect him.'

"Yue Wei, Prime disciple of Quiet Moon Pavillion. In my long life till now, when someone has attacked me. I have never let them go. If I release this brat now, I will just kill him later. You are just delaying."(Bai Heng)

"Your Excellency, You can do as you wish later. Thank you for your kindness."(Yue Wei)

Yue Wei bowed deeply towards Bai Heng who had a bored expression on his face. He released the pressure around Ye Jing and said:

"Looks like the beauty likes you a lot. You have managed to survive. Congratulations."(Bai Heng)

At this time, Ye Jing's mind was chaotic while looking at Yue Wei and the surrounding cultivators

'Is this what I came here for? To be humiliated, everybody is looking at me like I am trash. I can't stand those eyes. I am the chosen one. I beat all my enemies and this is the result to be saved by a woman. I bet she thinks I am useless too and saving me out of pity. I told her, I would become strong and face her but I bet she will scorn me too saying I am inferior. I have to survive to take revenge. I will kill that man from the Bai Clan and everybody here I will prove them wrong. I am not trash! How should I escape? Yes, This is the only way.'

When the vagrant cultivators saw what occurred, they started to sympathize with Ye Jing. They felt, he had made the right point but the sects were overbearing. So, they admired his boldness even though, they didn't say it out loud.

Yue Wei saw Ye Jing standing up and breathed a sigh of relief and immediately went to help him up.

But what happened next shocked everybody present?
