5 Blood Sword(4)

Right now, I am attending a meeting between the Quiet Moon Pavilion, Lei Clan, Blood Church and Bai Clan. After the destruction of the realm, the cultivators in the realm were ground to dust only those in the core area were saved. As for the reason for this discussion, it's because some young kids from the other factions believe that I stole the legacy which should have been their property and demand reparations.

I am not representing the Bai Clan this time. Some man who is my nephew from some cousin is representing the Bai Clan, it seems like he is quite talented in management and negotiation so he was sent here for peaceful negotiations.

'Look at his face. It looks like he wants to slaughter all of those brats demanding to hand them back the legacy. This is so relaxing, someone is doing all the work and I just have to sit while doing nothing.'

"Elder Heng of the Bai Clan took the legacy without any consent, the legacy should be handed equally shared with all the sects."(Pavilion Representative)

"Our Lei Clan also believes that the Bai Clan should share."(Lei Clan Representative)

"The Blood Church agrees with those words."(Church Representative)

"Like I have said, the Bai Clan has given up the rights to recruit any disciples from the realm exploration and also lost reputation while rejecting to save the stranded cultivators which is enough compensation."(Bai Clan Representative)

"No, How can this be equal. Many talented disciples were lost and the people we can choos- "(Pavilion Representative)

"The people you can choose from, are the most talented cultivators who entered the core area earlier than the rest.(Bai Clan Representative)

"No,This is simply not true."(Pavilion Representative)

'Nice move by these kids. They are forcing us to surrender by grouping up in a fight. He even started with a exorbitant demand so that he can make some concessions and getting extra good stuff while making it look like their factions are generous.'

'Those naive kids will even eat all that *ullshit up and believe that the other three factions are the good side and we are the bad side.'

'Right now, I am debating if I should interfere or not. After all, to access the legacy requires a special method. It likes trying to hack into a computer and steal all their data.'

"We demand Elder Heng to explain his actions in the realm."(Church Representative)

'Oh.. What's this? I am just minding my own business and I also get fired upon.'

"I was saving the lives of my Clan members."(Bai Heng)

Immediately the faces of the members of the three factions became red with anger

'We know. You were saving their lives but isn't obvious that we are accusing you of stealing. Why are sitting there with an expression like asking if we are idiots?'

"We mean your other actions in the realm."(Pavilion Representative)

"Hmm... I was breaking the space barrier with the other three elders of your sect, so that we can pass through easily."(Bai Heng)

'We know, we know this too. But why are not capturing the gist of these arguments. Are you senile?'

Meanwhile, Bai Heng was secretly smiling while looking at the faces of everybody in the hall

'Ahh.. I feel so happy messing with them. Look at their faces, it looks like they are about to explode.'

"We are referring to your action of taking the legacy of the Blood Sword Emperor."(Lei Clan Representative)

"It was lying on the ground. So I picked it up. Why are there any problems?"(Bai Heng)

The people of the other factions looked at Bai Heng with dazed expressions while commenting intensely.

'We have been fighting for that legacy for the entire day. Were you sleeping? And you just picked it up, is the legacy of the Blood Sword Emperor some rock on the side of the road which just pick up?'

Then Bai Heng made an enlightened face and said:

"If I recall. You wanted this sword. If you want it just say it to me. Take it." (Bai Heng)

Bai Heng threw the red sword to the Pavilion Representative who caught it in a daze.

'So easy. What did I fight for? If you are just giving it to me why bother with all this theatrics.'

The Bai Clan members looked at Bai Heng like he had gone crazy while the Representative made a face like he was going to burst into tears.

' Elder. That was a precious Tribulation Immortal level legacy. How can just give it to him? Why did we even argue if you were just handing it to them for free.'

The faces of the members of the factions immediately lit up with joy and started laughing

'Is this the power of the Bai Clan? They are just pushovers, if they are so afraid of us. May- Maybe we can even destroy their clan and steal their resources. It will lead to our rise.'

While they were laughing, the people who still had clear minds saw Bai Heng lift the corners of his mouth just barely and immediately felt that something was wrong. But before they could even complete their thoughts. The sword which had been silent, let out a blinding light.

"Wh-What is happening?"(Pavilion Representative)

"Throw the sword away immediately"(Old man Gu, Lei Seven, Aloysius)

Before he could do anything. The people who were gathered together, let out screams. The screams were filled with so much pain and suffering that the people from the Bai Clan shuddered and looked at Bai Heng who was laughing his head off.

"I gave it to you. Why are you shouting at me? Didn't you want it? Take it then."(Bai Heng)

Old man Gu, Seven and Aloysius immediately moved to help the men but when they tried to seal the legacy, they were powerless. All they could do was watch as all the men who demanded the legacy were sucked dry with all their blood entering the sword.

They then Bai Heng's voice and their faces became black

"Bai Heng. You go too far. How can you kill them in front of our sights? Do you wish to start a war?"(Old man Gu)

"You three actually dare to reason with me. The four of us, agreed that I will take possession of this legacy while you get the disciples and now you wish to force me to hand you the legacy. Do you think my clan is so weak that we can be pushed around easily? You want to start a war, then let's do it. First, I will kill all of your members in this city"(Bai Heng)

'Fools. Do they think this is like my previous world? Where you can force people to do things based on public opinion and their reputation. This world is where strong eat the weak. Even though, I was unused to this at the beginning but humans can adapt to their surroundings. They think, I will their dirty moves off. The easiest way to solve problems is to kill everybody.'

Upon hearing Old man Gu's face became pale while Aloysius stepped forward and bowed to Bai Heng

"Yes, That was the agreement. Blood Church will not take part in this matter anymore."(Aloysius)

"Good, Good Bai Heng. You actually dare to threaten us. Let's see if you can keep your word."(Seven)

Lei Seven headed out of the doors without looking back when suddenly a blood red sword was stabbed into his back piercing his heart. He looked back in shock and saw Bai Heng holding the sword with an expressionless face.

"The blood of a Tribulation Immortal will help me unlock the legacy. Thank you for your sacrifice."(Bai Heng)

As soon he said this, all the Lei Clan members fell on their ground with shocked faces. They were killed by a dark thorn which extended from their shadow. All the people in the room were shocked. What had been a ordinary power struggle between immediately became a massacre. They sucked in a cold breath while looking at Bai Heng.

Bai Heng turned around and immediately moved towards Old man Gu trying to stab his head with the sword. Old man Gu was immediately flustered and rushed away from Bai Heng:

"Wait, Bai Heng. Calm down. The Pavilion also agrees to the deal. We will not start a war. Stop attacking me."(Old man Gu)

Bai Heng still continued attacking him while smiling gently:

"I don't believe you. People can say anything to save their lives. If I let you go now, you will try to kill the weaker members of my clan and plot to kill me. Killing you now will give me peace of mind."(Bai Heng)

Old man Gu continuously dodged and shouted back in a desperate voice:

"I will swear a blood oath. So, stop attacking me."(Old man Gu)

Bai Heng immediately stopped and pulled out a contract and threw it towards him:

"Sign it"(Bai Heng)

Old man Gu looked at the contents and his face paled. His eyes showed some hesitation when suddenly he saw Bai Heng immediately swing the sword towards him:

"Wait wait, I will sign it." (Old man Gu)

After he finished saying his piece, he immediately collapsed while looking disheveled. The surrounding cultivators were stupefied and stood there looking like fools.

Bai Heng turned around and gave an order to the members of the clan:

"All of you, lead teams to kill all members of the Lei Clan in this city."(Bai Heng)

One member of the Bai Clan stepped out and spoke up:

"But Elder, If we do this, the Lei Clan will immediately start a war against us."

Bai Heng looked at the man with an annoyed face and said:

"I already killed a elder of their clan. Do you think they will stop if we don't do anything."(Bai Heng)

The member made a shocked face and blushed in embarrassment and immediately ran out while shouting:

"What are you looking at. Let's go, you heard the orders."

After finishing up, Bai Heng looked at Aloysius and walked away with a relaxed demeanor:

"I will see you later."(Bai Heng)

Aloysius nodded his head and looked at Bai Heng's back and sighed:

"Even after getting this old, he always acts hastily.(Aloysius)

He then looked at the people from the Pavilion and said:

"As long as Bai Heng is alive. The Bai Clan will never fall, only a fool will start a war against him. I am warning you, cease all thoughts of revenge. Unless you want to destroy yourselves."(Aloysius)

Aloysius said this and led the members of the Blood Church out.

All the remaining cultivators looked at him and didn't know how to respond.

Old man Gu stood up and said:

"We are leaving. Let's return back to the sect."(Old man Gu)

'I will have my revenge Bai Heng. No matter what happens.'

After Bai Heng returned, he pulled out a mirror and poured in Qi and waited for some time. In sometime, four faces started appearing in the mirror.

"Initiate the plan. The Lei Clan needs to be destroyed."(Bai Heng)

A man covered in a black robe spoke up:

"Why did you begin now? We were supposed to wait for some more time."

"I had a fight with Seven from Lei Clan and killed him."(Bai Heng)

Suddenly a young man wearing a purple robe of the Lei Clan spoke up:

"It does not matter. Our wish of destroying the Lei Clan will be fulfilled."

The last person was a woman who carried a hideous scar on her face, her body was completely dry and had baggy skin on her bones:

"Good. I was waiting for this day. Finally I can destroy that abominable clan."

Bai Heng smiled and spoke up:

"It is a pleasure doing business with you. We will achieve our mutual goals. I will see you at the Lei Clan."

The others just nodded and the mirror went back to normal.

Bai Heng then called a servant over and gave him a scroll while saying:

"Send this to the Gladiolus Clan."

The servant bowed and departed

'Lei Clan, you bunch of fools were always arrogant and cruel. Now, look at the number of people who want to destroy you. If you keep doing bad deeds and do not clean up properly, you will be screwed eventually. The problems of sloppy management.'

Bai Heng then pulled out the sword of the Blood Sword Emperor and examined it while musing:

'This man was a true homicidal maniac. He even wants his successor to kill people to unlock the legacy.'

Bai Heng poured his energy inside the sword and immediately a massive amount of information poured inside his mind. Bai Heng absorbed the data and started examining it.

'It was as I expected. Blood Sword Emperor cultivated a technique which gave rise to murderous impulses, that is why he never stopped killing people. This technique has a major downside even though it is strong but if carefully trained, it will give tremendous power.'

The main reason, Bai Heng wanted this legacy was because the Blood Sword Emperor had mastered the Law of Blood and the Law of Quietus. He was looking for the way to convert the Saints back to living beings with emotions and free will. He had tried many times to turn them back to their original race but the result was a failure. So, he decided to do, the same thing Morning Star did and started creating a way to convert Saints to a brand new race.

In order to do that these two laws were very important and thus, he was always planning to steal this legacy, but he did not know where to find it. So, the trip to the secret realm could be considered a huge success.

Bai Heng lied down on a chair while staring at the night sky:

"Looks like I am going to get very busy."
