Ninja King's sudden death made the people who had been watching the fight suddenly feel that it was not real. 

Even the people from Beautiful Robes Faction were dumbfounded and had exaggerated expressions saying that they could not accept seeing Ninja King lying motionless on the ground and catching his last breath. It was especially so since they had personally witnessed him killing more than one hundred elites from the three sects. He had handled them with ease and had been totally unperturbed by their attacks. Even Happy had not dealt him a lot of damage when they had fought earlier.

But they did not know that even though Ninja King did not seem to have suffered from any injuries and his golden armor had negated most of the damage, his internal injuries had accumulated over time. They were not something that could be ignored.
