Persistent Bastard

"Of course… how can I ever call you my friend when you're not even the real Lyde Pearson."

HOW IN THE MIND FUCKING SHIT DID HE KNOW ABOUT ME!?

This… this might be a bluff! Don't let him have his way!!

"If I'm not the real Lyde Pearson, then who the hell am I?!"

"You're an impostor!! AN IMPOSTOR!"

"HOW CAN YOU CALL ME AN IMPOSTOR WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PROOF!" I need to get away from this person, he's a big danger to my identity!

"AND WHY WOULD I TELL YOU?! I know Lyde better than anyone so even if you identically look like him, you can never fool me that easily. You are not Lyde!" Persistent bastard.

"…you're a fucking moron."

"What did you say?!" He grabbed my collar and glared at me as if he wants to kill me.

"What now?! You want to fight? I'll give you a fucking beating you fucking bastard!"

"Like hell I'll beat you! I'm not stupid enough to initiate a problem between two gangs." So he's a member of a gang? Just as I suspected, this guy is also a delinquent.

"I see... I wouldn't mind starting one if you don't plan to let me go this instant." The threat immediately reached him, and as I got off of his grasps, the bastard wouldn't stop glaring now. "Where's the real Lyde? He's the one I want to talk to, not you."

"Then your simply making a fool out of yourself, the person you wanted to talk to is already infront of you."

"I know that you know who you are... and you're definitely not him!"

What a pain in the ass! "Then if you're so sure that I'm not the real Lyde, then go ahead and find him you moron!"

"Quit with the insults! I don't want to hear anymore from you with that ridiculous face you have!"

"Fine! Just let me go already!" He got a hold of my left wrist with a tight grip, seems like I won't get away from this bastard that easy. "Tell me where's Lyde first?—Actually, no, tell me who you exactly are first and then about Lyde's whereabouts."

"You shitty!!—" I feel like I can blow up from madness any second now and all because of his stubborn persistency. "—Why?! Why can't you be convinced that I'm the real Lyde? Isn't my presence here enough for you!?"

"You may look exactly like Lyde and pretend to be him, but that doesn't make you the real one!"

"If you know the real Lyde so much, then how can you tell that I'm different!?"

"BECAUSE!..." as he raised his voice, his expression changed too. The intense look on his face turned into a soft one. "...the real Lyde... would never insult his friends like that. And he would never deny that I'm his friend."

"Are you..."

Then he continued to talk about Lyde without even hearing what I have to say. "He's also the kind of guy who would never fight with others for petty reasons, so considering what he did for Ian, he must be so worried for his friend."

"Hey, you—"

And again, I was cut off. "Lyde also can't fight, because I know that he's physically weak for that kind of thing. One punch can bring him down in a second! So..." Nay glances at me and began to look hostile again. "It's impossible that he managed to get in a gang, and even participate in gang fights."

"Are you done now?!" This guy talks more than Cain, but Cain's polite enough to hear what I want to say, unlike this stubborn rude jerk.

"I firmly believe you're not Lyde! He can never insult his friends and get into fights! And I also know well that someone like him can never get nicknames like 'the lone wolf's pup' or 'the little sharp fangs'." Woah, he knows a lot about me more than I do.

Also, since when did I ever got the nickname 'little sharp fangs'?! I never heard of it! Though that's n-ot the point here, Nay seemed to be someone who cares a lot for Lyde. A little too much... "You've got a thing for the real Lyde, don't you?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"Don't play dumb. I know what it's like to be fond of someone, and you seem to be like that."

His face flushed. "What!? Are you saying that I like the real Lyde!?"

"I am. It's not that hard to notice from someone like you. You seem head over heels for my brother." I chuckled.

"...you're not denying that you're a fake anymore. Are you finally going to tell me who you are?"

It made me sigh that some harp idiot like him even had to state the obvious. "I'm Lyde's twin." I can probably trust an idiot like him, maybe having someone who knows my real identity might help with some struggles. "Anyway, if you're so worried about my brother then this might ease your worries for a little bit."

Then I took out my phone and showed Nay a picture of Lyde pretending to be me, and his reaction was priceless...
