A Week From Now, Part 2

"This gang we're going to face are called the Wild Beasts. The group was formed last year but it grew rapidly with a bunch of strong delinquents joining them. And our target is one of the members of it's second troop, Jeiro." Lyde informed. I was listening on the best effort I can provide, though I can't help but be bored of Lyde's talking.

"Jeiro was the one who kept pushing my friend Ian into transferring to another school. He was also the guy who was responsible for making his fellow members into beating up the two guys to death." I flinched as I was reminded of what happened to Lyde. I could feel the sudden urge to actually beat that Jeiro. Not because Lyde asked me to, it's because I want to avenge my brother.

"Hmm, so what do you want me to do exactly?" I asked.

Lyde got fired up and looked at me seriously. "I want you to beat him up under my guise! That way, he won't mess with us ever again. And maybe… just maybe, Ian would come back." No matter how sincere he was about his feelings, I still worry about his idiocy. I sighed and ruffled his hair.

"I don't know if he'll come back, but I'll see what I can do with this Jeiro guy." I told him.

He smiled naively at me. "I believe in you, sis!"

"Sure. But I think your plan still lack a lot of detail, right Ace?" I looked behind to see Ace agree with me, but he was quite shock about what I said. "It does?!" Oh god, I almost forgot this one was a moron too.

"Aah, nevermind. I guess I'll just have to improvise on my own." Then the two kept talking more about this so-called Wild Beasts gang, and it was expected that the topic jumps to another thing and so on. I can't even tell if they're taking this seriously now.

Based on the important details Lyde blabbered on about, I think I have the chance of meeting this Jeiro guy under the west bridge. It was the place where they hang out most of the time, it's also the place where Lyde got beaten up.

Though it's obvious that it won't be easy to get one on one with that kind of guy. Going there would be suicide, I might get beaten up to death as well with a lot of them there. Also, I even have to dress up like Lyde. How lame. I should also consider the date and time before beating Jeiro up, people will start doubting if they knew there were two Lydes around the place.

"One week from now…" I said, interupting their chat. They both looked at me in silence. "…I'll carry out the plan as fast as I can next week. After that, don't ever bother me into doing this again."

Both of them gave me a thumbs up before diving back into their conversation. I think I'm going to take back the compliments I thought for Ace. He's without a doubt an idiot as well.

For a few days, I've been scouting the area near the west bridge. I often see a bunch of guys going there, and I guess that's the second troop od Wild Beasts there. They were just like I imagined, a bunch of ugly scary guys that might punch you right away for nothing.

"Which one is Jeiro though?" I asked myself. Jeiro must be noticeable since he acknowledge by his other members, but no matter how much I stare, they all look a bunch of savages.

"Oh, you don't know who Jeiro is?" A random dude suddenly talked. I looked behind me and saw this guy that's probably around my age and height, he also has long hair and half of it was tied up.

"U-Uhm, yeah. I'm just curious." I said. I'm starting to feel nervous, what if this guy is a part of that gang? Will he call Jeiro to beat me up?

"Hahaha, it's hard to tell which is who because they actually look like a bunch of identical gorillas." I almost laughed aloud, I could totally agree with him. "But Jeiro is actually the one with the piercing on his nose. He's known as the Bull of the Wild Beasts."

"Oh, is that so… how do you know that? Are you a p-part of the Wild Beasts?" I asked.

He smiled at me, but I could tell his smile has a hostile touch to it. "Hmm, why do you want to know Jeiro anyway? This is the Wild Beasts turf, you know. They might come to beat you if they find out you're sniffing on their butts."

"I-I said I was just curious." I looked away from him and took small steps back. I don't really want to mess with anyone right now.

"Right. So just mind your own business before you become their next victim… Jeiro won't hesitate to beat you into a pulp."

"A-Alright." I ran away before he could say more. That guy was creepy, I feel like backing out but there's no turning back with the phone on my hands. Can't they just get a refund on the phone?
