1 Prologue

'...damn...I really did mess up my life, huh?'

Life really is unfair for everyone. Some are born richer than others, some with parents who can't even afford to send their children to school and some who are just plain ugly. Luckily, Min-chul is neither.

Neither rich nor poor, loving parents but strict when needed. He is your average boy...okay, that's a lie.

He isn't at all average. After all... he is the perfect human!!! If you imagine what God wanted the perfect human to be, then it would be this man; Min-chul!

Standing at 184 cm, he has a metabolism that gym bunnies would kill for, a body that only swimmer's could have without even trying and the most notable trait about Min-chul... he can unknowingly make women fall in love with him!!!

Who in the hell can do that?!? Is that even possible? Well, for Min-chul it is.

However, despite his cute face, his "V" shaped body, slightly tanned skin and charismatic personality, he had one flaw... pride.

He took pride in what he looked like; especially his physique. I mean, he had abs without doing a single sit-up outside of P.E class. Who wouldn't love themselves? This did come at its own cost however and he would pay dearly.

All the way until junior high, he never once took up a sport, tried going to the gym or eating healthier. He did find his passion with swimming after being introduced to it by his girlfriend, Mi-young. There, he found his purpose; what he wanted to be in life... a professional swimmer.

Sadly however, his lifestyle caught up to him. He was lucky enough to get a seat at the reserves C team in the national league team, Flying Dolphins. However, after getting a seat, he never changed.

With his constant skipping of training, breaking of diets and hard partying, he was eventually dropped from the team and lost his 20% scholarship to JP University.

At this time, Mi-young already left him. Still drunk on his previous glory, he couldn't help but lash out at her; hurting her on her cheek and giving her a scar. Thinking about this now, he really wishes she didn't love him so much to not even hit back.

'What a dick I was, huh?.....sorry Mi-young'

Mi-young leaving him was the wake-up call he needed. Eventually graduating from a below standard college with a GPA of 3.81, it was a huge turnaround; one that greatly pleased his mom and dad. Getting a job was tricky with his resumé but the GPA was enough for SM Chemicals to hire him as their assistant chemical engineer.

There was only one problem however... he was still FAT!!! What the hell? Why is he fat? Didn't he stop partying and playing around? Well, due to the intense partying and alcohol consumption, his testosterone levels dropped below the average levels for 20 year olds; making him look like a 30+ year old ahjussi at 25.... what a shame.

By 27, his hair started falling out from the stress of his job and the lack of exercise.

By 29, his stomach looked like he was 2 years pregnant with twins.

By 35, his hair situation was at Norwood 5, A.K.A observatory stage; this made him choose a fully bald hairstyle. He called it an "observatory stage" since there was a little spot on his crown without hair that was on his head; like the ones in observatories.

His looks and his physique were nowhere to be found anymore. Once a 6-pack is now a blob of flesh and fat; once a full head of thick and luscious hair now completely gone, replaced by a shiny dome that would make a certain barcode man jealous.

Buy hey, at least he is rich right? WRONG!!! As it turns out, SM Chemicals is a black company and he is worked to the bone everyday. Yes after working for about 5 years he did get a pay raise to 6 million won a month but so what??!! He was working 100 hours a week. And that is the conservative estimates.

He has no hobbies, no friends and no girlfriend. This really made him want to cry and befriend his right hand for the first time...which he did.

Getting off at work at 11:00 p.m, he takes a stroll around Woodland Park and stops at the luxurious Wariss Bridge. 50 meters off the ground and a perfect view of a man made waterfall. Commissioned around 10 years ago, this park only recently added this bridge compared to the other structures.

Wariss Bridge however, isn't only know for its beauty and design; it's also known as the Stressed Bridge or the Depressed Bridge. Why? Well, this bridge has witnessed about 60 something suicides a year from the year it was built to today. That's a whopping death every 6 days.

Knowing this, the owner of Woodland Park, a philanthropist, put up various barriers and signs to discourage the jumper. This hasn't worked however; barely decreasing the sad, sad statistic.

Looking over the edge with a somber expresssion, if you looked at him, you wouldn't be able to tell if he was enjoying the view or thinking about doing one of the worst things you can do to yourself. Breathing out a heavy sigh, he contemplates.

'Is my life worth living?'... contemplating his life decisions that led him to this exact moment. What if he didn't party? What if he actually studied? Would he still be with Mi-young? Would he be a famous swimmer? Well, that's for only God to know since it'll never, ever, ever happen... ever.

What a shame... another end to a beautiful life I created. How sad must he ha-.

"Bwahahahaa!!! What the hell, author? What contemplation, you liar! I was enjoying the view after a long day of work!"

Hearing the weird voice in his head, he though that it was the alcohol talking; judging him for all his past deeds. What didn't know however, was that that voice was one of the most powerful existences in the universe. And he offended him.

"...y-y-you... you are courting death; insulting me, ancestor koppa!"

Feeling the strong gust of wind, some water from the waterfall splashes onto him and the bridge; soaking his favorite clothes. Another gust makes him slip and another sends him over the edge of the railing...

now, truly... it's another beautiful life lost due to unknown and an unfortunate set of events. Now, when the patrol comes along at midnight, they will think another poor soul has decided they aren't worth it.

What a shame indeed...

(Up in space)

"Mwahahahahaha! This is what you get for insulting I, ancestor koppa! Mwuahahaha"

"Hello son... I can't help but notice you were laughing quite hard. Do you care to tell you beloved mother what that is?"

Hearing that cold and familiar voice, ancestor koppa stops writing in his not-alive note. He may be one of the most powerful in the universe but there are some of his race that are more powerful than him. One of them is his mother. A doting woman, sure, but disobey her one rule and be punished; badly.

"Mom! Eeeee....ehehehehe...I-i-I-I.... took a soul...."

"Ara ara??~~ did you perhaps not listen to my previous warnings or am I that insignificant that you won't listen to me?"

Coughing out blood, koppa looks at his mother in confusion and a bit of pleading. More than Javier Sotomayor, his mother was prone to jumping... to conclusions that is.

"Wait wait wait wait!!! I-i-I..."

"You will what, honey?"

"I... I'll give him the dream system then reincarnate him!!!"

"Ara ara... T̜͉͓̺̟̪͓̖̂͂͌͛̂ͤͦh̯̫̘̻̊ͭ̂ͦ̂ͤ̎̉̉͆̋e̬͖͇͎͓̩̘͈͚͖͈̳͉̥͎̞͛̾̽̿͑̔̍̀͛̐̑n͚̺͎̞͉͉̼̼̱͊ͦͧͩ͊̉̉̚ ͙̺͈̺͕̲̘̜̳̝̹͚̋ͦͯ̄̽̚ͅd̤̫͖̻̻͔̝̪̼̪̤̘̙͔͊̊̍̓͆̾̃̊̑̔̿̍͊͐̄̆̇ͣ̚o̩̗̜͓͇̻͓̪̣̼͗̋̋̈́̃ͫͯͬ̏ ̙̫̟͇̼̩̗̳̣̬̗̻̥̫̱̖̤̯͓̎̇̋͆ͮ̅ͬ͋̂i̼̙̫̖̣̞͉̮̠͆͐̐͑ͥ̓ͤͅt̖͍̪͎͍͔̭̘̘ͪ͋ͪ̏̒ͩ̔̾̿..."

"EEEKKKK! ahahahaaa... yes, mommy"

Seeing that her anger reached even his own dialogue, he couldn't help but shiver. This was his 5th time killing a mortal, after all.

"Damn it...little stupid soul...I beg of thee, system of various Webnovels! Answer my call and give this man a system that isn't too convenient but still helps him!"

'...that should cull a bit of her wrath...'

And now, Min-chul, the Swimming Prodigy, gets that never, ever, ever going to happen retry he always dreamed about...
