Cherry wasn't home when they reached her two room apartment at crystal hills, California, she was a top model in the industry so she had a photoshoot that evening and called to tell her where she was going to leave the key. After settling thier things in the guest room she ordered some groceries and prepared lasagna which they ate so Finn could sleep while she waited on the couch till cherry returned late in the night totally drunk.

"oh hey sexy" she hugged lily as soon as she opened the door, lily could smell the alcohol all over her "you're totally wasted... "she began to scold "hell yeah..... I got a contract today so I'm bumped" cherry cut in joyously even though she staggered. Lily knew arguing with cherry was a waste, they had been friends since kindergarten, her mom was always away for surgery so most times she stayed at Cherry's house which had made thier bond stronger. They went to the same middle school, high school even when she had gotten a scholarship into Harvard cherry forced her way in too just to be together, she was the sister she never had but naturally cherry was an exuberant kind of person. Back when they were in college she was thier ZBZ president, she dated the high profile guys and threw lavish parties it was her thing, drinking, smoking, partying and so on. "let's get you cleaned up" lily took her to the bathroom and helped her shower before wearing her some clothes and tucking her in bed. She couldn't sleep that night partly from excitement and from worry, she worried cherrys behavior would affect Finn who was just growing into a teenager but in this case she really didn't have a choice than to hope.

Lily had finished all the chores in the house before cherry woke up the next morning Including breakfast, she had even allowed Finn sleep in since it was a Sunday and they didn't have to go anywhere. He was chewing his pancakes as he watched a soccer match "Mom did you see the white house next door?" he asked causing lily to pause cleaning the kitchen table "there's another Bronson house next door? " she winced "you should check it out, it's an empire state mansion, for a moment I thought we were in Washington" he seemed to be excited and Lily knew he hardly got excited easily. She dropped the dish rag and went to the balcony to confirm what he was saying but she completely froze at the sight she met ; there was a big glass white three story mansion the next compound the size of an estate, it had a golf course, basketball court and a tennis court in front of the building with a golden giant gate held by a long wall.

When she recovered from her awe she went back inside, Cherry was already eating her own pancakes on the couch next to Finn laughing over something Finn had joked about, "thank goodness you're up" lily sighed on sighting her "uuuuuhhhhh" cherry growled playfully "I still have a headache though" she took a bite, lily laughed and served her the hang over soup she had made her "make sure to drink this, it'll make you fell better....." she paused and wore a devilish grin "I made it as bitter as I could". "you're lucky I can't stop loving you" cherry teased with a laugh as she settled in to drink the soup, lily remembered the mansion and decided to ask cherry. "uuhh cherry the house round back..... " but cherry didn't let her finish "oh f*** I forgot!" lily sent her a stern look and she apologized "sorry.... I was just too excited" she paused to take a breath "Lily remember Rudy Lyon?" she asked the puzzled lily "uhh, no... was I supposed to know him?" she wondered. "the Lyon family....richest family in the world, ..." cherry pointed out "oh.... yeah that Lyon, you could have just said where I'll be working" she rolled her eyes "but I don't see the connection to the house next door", " Rudy owns the house next door" cherry shrieked in excitement. lily was surprised "I knew it had to be....."she replied nonchalantly "rich people just have to be extravagant don't they" she scoffed walking back to the kitchen counter. "are you kidding me? you're not excited" cherry looked at her as though she were an alien "I never even got to tell you hes gonna be running the California head office so hes basically your boss".
