55 What Will Happen Now?
Back in Caroline's room.
After Grace left the room Caroline turn on the bedside table. She broke down and began crying, she buried her face down in the pillow to prevent her loud sobbing echoed inside the room not wanting to wake up her sleeping daughter.
She remembered how painful her severe leg cramps was that climb up to her left side, she was already in agony and worst when her sister come inside the room and began slapping her, kicking her and punching her. She was already in the state of agony and can't defend herself resulting in her falling into the floor.
The worst thing is, her sister was not listening to her explanation. Catherine kept hurling dirty accusations to her.
God knows, she was not trying to seduce John, it's not her intention.
Just that he was the first person that was there when she needed help.
Her fingers clenched into a fist, the anger rises inside her heart.
How dare her sister destroy her peace of mind! She's not trying to make any trouble. She can't understand why her sister would hate her so?
Why?
Then a small voice whispered in her mind.
'You forgot that you were trying to seduce her husband and you wanted to become John's second wife?' the voice reminded her.
Damn!
Does her sister think that she was trying to seduce John again?
Well, she is wrong!
She has no plan to seduce John again. Besides, she already asked sorry and forgiveness when they were chatting online when she was still in Thailand. She thought she was already forgiven.
It looks like her sister has not fully forgiven her yet and has not forgotten everything that happens in the past.
She admits that she was wrong in the past and she was a bad person, that is why she will forgive her sister this time. They are even now. She would be willing to talk to her sister and settle everything and apologize if needed. She is willing to swallow her pride just to bring back their closeness. Starting from now on, she will never go back to Infinity Jade Tower fearing that history will repeat itself. She will avoid John like a plague for her sister's peace of mind as well as her own.
It's the right thing to do.
She must not hate her sister!
She won't.
She finally feels a sense of calmness settling in her mind.
She's ready to sleep.
'What if your sister won't settle with you? What you're going to do?' the tiny voice asked again.
Caroline sighed then smile. "I don't care! I won't sulk and make my life miserable because of her. I have my own money, it's not that I'm solely dependent on her. I will survive on my own!" she murmured to herself.
With those thoughts in mind, she finally drifted into a deep sleep.

Inside Susan's home.
The light was already out inside the room where Catherine was sleeping together with the babies, the warm reddish glow of the bedside lamp illuminated the entire room.
Catherine can't sleep yet, she tried to sleep, but sleep was nowhere in sight.
She recalled everything that happens in the pool area. John and Caroline were saying the same thing... Caroline was having severe leg cramps and John was there and able to help her by carrying her out of the water and into the lounge chair.
She hears them alright, but she can't help it, she just exploded in jealousy and rage after seeing her beloved husband carrying her slutty sister in his arms. He was touching her! With or without malice, still, the view of them touching each other, skin to skin, made her blood boil.
Grrrr!
She's still very much angry until now!
Suddenly she remembered the moment she caught John sucking hungrily at Ella's nipple and clutching at her naked body.
God, the anger she felt during that time was maddening!
Now it happens again in the pool earlier!
The sight of John and Caroline alone in the room and touching each other's body ignited the fuse in her heart that's why she exploded in rage.
She may be acting spontaneously without clarifying the situation, but the moment John defended her twin sister, she goes ballistic in epic proportions.
She hated it when John was trying to defend Caroline.
It finally dawned on her that the anger she felt towards her twin for trying to seduce her husband during her abduction, was unleashed in the pool. She tried to bury that hatred thinking that there's no need to confront her sister about it since their situation now is much different than before.
She'd been trying to forget about it and she succeeded for more than a year but it all comes back when she saw her husband and her sister in the pool. That was the catalyst that broke the dam inside her heart freeing her anger that she's been trying to suppress all this time.
She admitted to herself that she hurt his husband and her sister physically, verbally and emotionally. Surprisingly, she's not guilty about it.
What will happen now?
Catherine has no answer yet. She doesn't want to think about them. She needs to heal herself first and then decide later.
Maybe the coming days will clear her mind.
Catherine shut her eyes again wanting to sleep this time.

In John's room.
He still can't sleep. He's been trying to text and call Catherine on the phone but she's not replying. Maybe she turned off her phone.
He still can't believe that his wife acted like a madwoman after seeing him carrying her sister and putting her in the lounge chair. His wife didn't even give him a chance to explain first.
Dammit, he and Caroline were not doing anything wrong!
He just helps Caroline, nothing more and nothing less.
How can his wife act so childish and immature?
Why she suddenly went ballistic was beyond his comprehension. He was confused as hell because God knows... he and Caroline did nothing wrong to warrant her accusations.
John released a deep sigh.
Aargh!
It's really hard to understand women sometimes!
He looked around him. The room feels so quiet. He missed Catherine so much! He missed baby James and baby Angel. He won't last a week with this kind of set up. He feels so alone and abandoned.
He's feeling utterly lonely and empty.
He missed his family terribly.
Dang! The silence of the room is suffocating!
The cribs were empty where his adorable children used to be!
If this will go on for a long time, he's going crazy due to loneliness.
Tomorrow, he will visit them in his mother's abode and try to convince Catherine to return to his side and start all over again. He will do anything to have his family back by his side before the week is over.
