Three days later.

It was a sunny morning.

Alex and Caroline met outside their respective room.

"Caroline, can I talk to you for a moment?" he asked.

"Sure, what is it?" Caroline said.

"Let's talk in my study room," he said and walked towards the room on the left.

"Okay," Caroline replied and followed him.

They entered the study room.

Caroline sat on the sofa.

Alexander went to his desk, opened the drawer, and picked up an envelope. He went to the sofa and took a seat facing her.

Caroline looked at the brown envelope and then at his face.

Alex took the ATM card out of the envelope. He placed it on Caroline's' hands.

"What's this?" Caroline asked in puzzlement.

"That is an ATM card. I funded it with my own money. You can use the money on this card to buy some stuff. You can use this card to buy anything online. You are free to spend the money at your leisure," he said casually.
