105 Let Me Show You
That evening.
Mike's car entered Eastwood Subdivision heading towards Caroline's abode.
He parked his car outside and entered the gate was opened for him by the housemaid. He popped inside the house and say hello to everyone in the living room, they were currently watching a fantasy adventure movie on the television.
"Hello, Uncle Mike!" Lily and Jacob greeted the visitor, their attention was still fixed on the television screen.
Thelma nods her head and smiled pleasantly at the boyfriend of her daughter.
Mike smiled back at them, he went to the chair in the veranda and sat down, waiting for his lady love. He placed the flowers he bought for his girlfriend on the table. He picked an Oriental White Lilies bouquet this time.
After a few minutes of waiting, Caroline exited the door and approached Mike in the veranda.
Mike handed her the White Lilies while eyeing her curve appreciatively, her long legs were visible thanks to the short denim mini skirt she was wearing matched with a sexy sleeveless black blouse.
"Wow! Thank you, it's so beautiful!" Caroline admired the whiteness of the flowers. "I will just put it in a flower vase for a moment," she said and walked back towards the door.
"No problem, take your time, sweetie," Mike said.
Caroline went back inside and placed the flower in the flower vase.
Done, she ambled towards the door and stopped, she went to her mother's side and placed a kiss on baby Cathy's head. "I'm going on a date with Mike, Mother. Please take care of baby Cathy for me," she said.
"No problem. Enjoy your date. Go now!" Thelma shooed her daughter away not wanting to make Mike wait for too long outside.
"Bye, Mother!" Caroline exited the main door.
Mike and Caroline exited the gate and entered the car parked outside.
"I prepared a romantic candlelit dinner for us tonight," Mike winked at her.
"Wow! I can't wait to see it!" Caroline enthused.
"You will like it for sure, sweetie!" he grinned confidently.
Mike started the engine of the car and drives the vehicle out of the subdivision.
After more than half an hour of driving, they finally reached the Blue Bell Residences, Mike's place.
Mike parked the car in the parking area and they entered the building. They went to the elevator area and Mike pressed the 15th-floor button. "The infinity pool is waiting for you, sweetie," he whispered and hugged her possessively from behind.
Caroline placed her head on his shoulder in a relaxing manner.
They enjoyed an intimate hug until the elevator stopped at the top floor.
The couple exited the elevator.
Mike's heart was filled with wild anticipation, while Caroline's mind was overflowing with excitement.
As soon they entered the door to Mike's place, the atmosphere change dramatically, as the entire place was littered with candles shimmering in the dark and rose petals were scattered abundantly on the floor, the red precious petals were everywhere.
"Wow! So romantic, indeed!" Caroline gushes. "Are they real candles?" she asked in wonderment.
Mike smiled. "No sweetie, they're electric candles. I can't run the risk of burning the whole building while I'm away fetching you in your house," he chuckled in amusement.
"Oh, silly me to even ask that stupid question," she smiled.
"No, you're not silly. You're lovely and cute," he planted a kiss on her temple. "Let's go now to the dining area and eat our meals so that we can go skinny dipping in the pool after eating," he quipped.
Caroline dropped her shoulder bag in the living room.
They entered the dining room area, the chandelier above was lighted, and the floor was also covered with rose petals. There was a bottle of red wine on the crystal ice bucket and three special dishes were placed in a covered see-through serving platter.
"You prepared all this?" she asked, her eyes widened, totally impressed.
"Not really, I hired two ladies to make the whole place romantic fit for a Queen," he grinned. "This is my way of saying how special you are to me," he planted a wet kiss on her lips.
Caroline was blown away and super delighted with his over the top effort. "Thank you, Mike. I appreciate the effort," she giggled happily.
"You're simply worth it, Caroline. I can do these things many times just to make you happy," he whispered huskily in her ear. "Take your seat sweetie," he said.
They sat on the chair facing each other.
Mike looked at her meaningfully. "Let's get started early my love," he winked playfully at her.
Caroline rewarded her boyfriend with her sweetest smile.
They picked up their spoon and fork and starts putting foods on their plates.
Thirty minutes later, they finished filling their stomach with the sumptuous dishes.
"Let's drink the wine and relax in the infinity pool," Mike said and picked up the ice bucket.
Caroline was about to grab the wine glass but Mike stopped her.
"No need for that sweetie, there's wine glass already set there," he informed her.
Together they left the dining area and proceed to the pool area.
Caroline pushed the door, candles were lining up leading towards the pool and the light was dim inside.
The city skyline was in full display, as bright lights dotted the view outside.
Caroline always loves watching the view of the city during the night and feel mesmerized by the dazzling multitude of lights blanketing the whole city. She got this funny feeling inside of being Alice in the wonderland.
"Amazing view as always," Caroline murmured as they proceed to sit on the lounge chair beside the pool.
Mike placed the ice bucket in the center table and opened the lid of the bottle and poured the contents in the glass wine. Done pouring the wine, he handed the glass to Caroline.
"Let's cheers for our joint venture together and for the longevity of our love, hope our love will endue through the ends of time...I love you so much...sweetie," he said softly.
"I love you too, Mike," Caroline replied and they made a toast.
Their wine glasses met in the middle and they cheered for their romance to endure the test of time.
They sipped their wine at the same time.
The couple looked at the breathtaking view outside.
Mike stared at his girlfriend's captivating face, while Caroline was engrossed watching the spectacular cityscape outside.
"Sweetie, you wanna see the masters bedroom? It looks as romantic as the rest of the place," he boasted wanting to show off his bedroom to his girlfriend.
"Really?" she looked at him and smiled. "Hmm, are you trying to lure me into your bed?" she asked him seductively. At this very moment, she can very well recognize the sexual tension rising between them.
"Yeah. I can only try, but don't worry I won't force you in doing something that you don't like doing. Let me show you my bedroom at its current state," he said, his eyes sparkling. He quickly planted a kiss on her lips.
He put their wine glasses on the table and holds her hands gently pulling her out of the pool area towards his bedroom.
