In the Garden.

Susan raised her head to see her son and daughter-in-law holding hands, a happy smile was plastered on their faces. Wow...they finally kiss and make up! This is awesome!

This calls for a celebration! She smiled brightly at the couple as she was infected by their contagious smiles.

"Nice to see my children back on each other's arms again. So, Catherine when are you planning to leave the house?" she asked.

"This afternoon, Mother, after lunch," Catherine responded.

A beaming Susan reached for her phone from the table and texted her favorite restaurant to order six of her favorite dishes and have it delivered to her house between 11:30 to 12:30 for lunch. "Okay, we will have a small celebration this lunch..." she said cheerfully. She resumed bonding with baby Angel.

While Catherine and John play with baby James.

To complete the family picture, Mike appeared in the garden wearing a swimming attire and playfully scooped baby James in his arms. "Baby James...wanna go swim in the pool with me?" he asked the tot and pointed his hands to the sparkling water.

"U..ncle...uncle...unc...le...w...ter..." baby James mumbled incoherent words.

Mike proceeds to go down into the water and baby James was shrieking in glee when the water hits his body.

Mike and baby James frolics in the water while Susan, Catherine, and John watched them in amusement sitting in the loungers.

Two hours later.

Mike and baby James stopped swimming at 11:30.

They all returned to the house to rest. Everyone went to their rooms and waited for lunchtime.

In Catherine's room, she instructed Anna to began packing their things because they will be returning to the Infinity Jade Tower after lunch.

After Anna was done packing, Catherine ordered the maid to go downstairs and prepare the babies solid food in the kitchen. Anna exited the room to obey the task given to her.

John spent his time bonding with baby Angel and James in the bed.

Catherine observed her husband's happy countenance. After John took the initiative to talk to her earlier, begging her and the children to come home with him, all her anger evaporated into thin air. She can't stay angry at John for a long time, their family will suffer in the end especially the children. Besides, she had to admit to herself that it's her jealousy that gets the better of her. John would naturally help and save her sister, anybody who happens to be in the pool during that time and saw Caroline in pain they would do the same.

Feeling guilty, she went to the bed and wrapped her arms around her husband's waist. "I'm so sorry, I slap you," she whispered.

John looked at his wife's face lovingly. "It's nothing...don't mention it. I already have forgiven you," he said.

"I love you," Catherine said. She continues hugging John from behind wanting to show him that she loves him very much.

John wore a happy smile on his face after hearing his wife's apology, he likes it when Catherine shows her love and affection to him. "I love you too!" he planted a loving kiss on her wife's forehead.

Catherine and John looked adoringly at each other's eyes, they continue enjoying their family moment along with their children.

In the living room.

Mike and Susan were sitting on the sofa facing each other.

"At last! The couple finally reconciled!" Mike beamed at his mother.

Susan sighed. "I'm happy for them and the children, at the same time I'm sad because I won't be seeing my grandchildren anymore," she said with mixed reaction.

Mike grinned. "Don't be sad, Mom, you can always visit the babies in their home every day if you want to," he reminded her.

Susan smiled. "Yes of course. Thanks for reminding me and cheering me up, son," she quipped.

"Mother, by the way, I'll have a flight for Mindanao at 5 pm this afternoon," Mike informed her.

Susan raised her brows. "What are you going to do there?"

"I will be accompanying a lady friend because she will be buying a piece of land there. We are going to build a beach resort in Mindanao, she is my newest business partner," he explained.

"What did you say? Lady friend?" she asked again, curiosity gets the better of her.

"Yes. A special lady friend," he winked at her.

Susan stared at his son's face. She doesn't want to raise her hopes high that one day her son will finally settle with a woman after discovering her son's true sexuality. Lately, she finds solace with the knowledge that her son was busy managing his assortment of businesses around the country together with his business partners. She praised his entrepreneurial skills and encourage him to focus on it so that he will stay away from men. "Okay, call me when you already arrived in Mindanao," she said.

"Yes Mother," Mike said.

A few minutes later, the food was already delivered by the restaurant's delivery car. The dishes were consists of Beef with Young Corn, Baby Back Ribs, Lemon Chicken, Spicy Prawns Camaron, Vegetable Mix, and Fresh Fruits.

The maids arranged the palatable dishes and dining utensils in the dining room and called their employers' attention after done with their task.

Anna went upstairs to inform the couple to go downstairs for lunch. "Sir, Ma'am, lunch is ready," she said.

John and Catherine left the room and went to the dining room.

Susan, Mike, John, and Catherine gathered in the dining room to share an appetizing meal.

One hour later, lunch was over.

Susan left the dining room to get ready to report to her office. While Mike also went to his room to finish packing his things.

The couple went back upstairs to feed their babies so that Ana can eat lunch and after that, they can finally go home to Infinity Jade Tower.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, in front of the house.

Mike and Susan watched as Catherine's things were loaded into John's car.

Catherine went to her mother-in-law's side and hugged her. "Thank you so much for taking care of us, Mother," she said feeling grateful for her understanding and support.

"It's my pleasure, daughter," Susan said. She planted a kiss on the baby's cheeks.

Catherine looked at her brother-in-law. "Thank you, bro!" she smiled at him.

"Glad to help you, my dear. Bye Cath, bye nephew, and niece!" Mike told the babies and kissed their foreheads. "Uncle will visit you at your home, okay?"

John addressed his mother and brother. "Thank you guys for taking good care of my family," he said.

The couple went inside the vehicle and Ramon drove the car out of the gate.

Susan and Mike were left outside... still waving their hands at the fading vehicle.

When they can no longer see the car, Susan pulled the car's door and settled in the passenger's seat and instructed the driver to take her to her office.

Mike entered the house and went inside his room to get his traveling bag. He won't be using his car to go to the airport since no one would drive it back to their house, instead, he will hire a taxi cab and proceed to Caroline's home so that they can go to the airport together.

He called Caroline first. "Sweetie, I will come to your house and fetch you at 4:00, so get ready...okay?"

"Yes. I already finished packing a few things. By the time you arrive here I'm ready to go," she answered excitedly.

"That's fantastic! I'll be out of the house and traveling by then. See you later!" he said and finished the call.

Mike went to the bathroom to take a quick shower and then get ready to go.

Eastwood Subdivision.

Caroline was done combing her hair in the mirror and styled it in a ponytail while Thelma was watching her daughter's movement in the bed holding baby Cathy in her arms.

"How many days you would stay in Mindanao, daughter?" asked Thelma. After her excited daughter told her about her plan to buy a piece of land in Mindanao, it's been the only thing she kept hearing from her daughter.

"Two or three days the most. Mike told me to inspect the land first and then decide later if I want to buy it. If I decided to buy the land, we can then proceed in making the layout of the beach resort and hire an architect to design the beach resort's amenities," she chattered animatedly.

"So...you and Mike are finally going to be a business partner?" Thelma just wants to be sure.

"Yes, that's more like it, Mother," Caroline answered.

Thelma was thrilled that her daughter was about to enter another milestone in her life. Soon, she would become a businesswoman. She's feeling proud of her daughter's stroke of good luck. Mike is a good guy and an excellent influence on her daughter especially that his mother is a successful businesswoman and his brother is her son-in-law. Her daughter is in good hands. She can very well see an outstanding soul in Mike's personality.

Caroline's phone starts ringing signaling an incoming call. "Hello, Mike. Yes, I'm ready."

"I'm already at the entrance of the subdivision," Mike informed her.

"Okay, I'm going downstairs and wait for you outside," Caroline said and finished the call.

She went to her mother's side and planted a quick kiss on her daughter's cheek. "Please take care of baby Cathy for me, Mother," she said.

"No problem. I will take care of my granddaughter. Just take care of yourself over there," replied Thelma.

"Thanks, Mother." Caroline picked up her traveling bag and exited the bedroom.

Thelma followed her from behind.

The taxi cab that Mike hired finally arrived and parked outside the gate.

Caroline sauntered towards the gate and opened it.

Mike exited the taxi and went to Caroline's side. He took the traveling bag from her grasp and put it in the car trunk.

After waving goodbye to Thelma, Mike and Caroline boarded the taxi heading to the airport terminal.
