Mike stared at his wife's face..."Caroline?" he uttered her name in shock while his gaze fell on her stomach, her attire was that of someone pregnant! Wanting to be sure...he asked her. "Why are you wearing a maternity dress?"

"Yes, husband! I'm back! Is there no welcome hug or something? Aren't you glad that I already come home?" she asked, her smile never leaving her face.

Mike brows knitted together. "A-are you pregnant? Who is the f-father?" he asked, afraid to know.

Caroline's breath faltered. Sadness blanketed her face. "Of course, you are the father of my unborn child! Why are you asking? Aren't you happy that you're gonna become a father soon?" she said, swallowing the lump forming in her throat as tears threatened to come out of her eyes.
