After knocking three times, the women didn't wait long enough because the door was opened right away by Mike.

"Sweetie!" he was wearing a surprised expression on his face. He wasn't expecting his wife to be at the door of his office at this time of the night when he already texted her an hour ago that he would be coming home late.

"Hi, hubby! We pay you a surprise visit! I just want to see your new office," she explained the reason for her sudden arrival.

He opened the door wide and let the women enter.

Caroline went inside and her gaze sweeps the room. Her eyes landed on the woman sitting on the chair on the other desk. She was typing on the keyboard of the computer in front of her.

Their eyes met.

Althea rose to her feet and bowed her head as a formal greeting for the wife of her employer. "Good evening, Ma'am!" she said wearing a pleasant smile on her face.

Caroline smiled. "Good evening," she responded.
