37 Baby Factory

Catherine arrived in the Infinity Jade Tower, while John was having much fun with baby James as they were playing toy cars on the floor of the master's bedroom.

She went to her husband's side and planted a kiss on his cheek and also on baby James's forehead. She smiled proudly looking at baby Angel sleeping peacefully in her crib.

"How are they doing in there?" John asked.

Catherine smiled. "They're doing great. They love the house," she answered.

"That's great! Now that your family is close by you can visit them anytime you want," he said. "One of these days we will visit them together with our babies, probably this weekend," he offered.

"I'm looking forward to it," Catherine smiled and went inside the bathroom.

When she exited the bathroom, John and baby James were already in the bed, resting. The tot rides his father's stomach like a horse grinning broadly especially when John starts imitating the sound of the train and car..."chooo...chooo...chooo...broom...broom...broom," he said, merriment flashing in his eyes.

Catherine picked up the sleeping baby Angel and placed her in the middle of the bed. John also placed baby James beside his sister. But baby James crawled back to his father's tummy still wanting to play.

"Ah...no more baby James...father is very tired," John protested.

Catherine stood up and took baby James into her arms. "Time to sleep baby James, I will clean you first," she murmured and kissed his chubby arms and brought him into the bathroom for cleaning.

"Dadadada...dadada...dada," Baby James wailed wanting to be with his father.

Catherine and baby James entered the bathroom.

John was left in the bed holding baby Angel in his arms looking at her daughter adoringly in the face. She's the quietest baby ever, she seldom gives tantrums, unlike baby James. He planted a kiss on his daughter's cheek. "Baby Angel...Daddy is here...looking after you," he nuzzled her chubby cheeks. Looking at his daughter's face, her innocence filled his heart with gladness. 'It's a wonderful feeling to be a parent to my two precious babies,' John murmured to himself. His marriage with Catherine was peaceful and filled with happiness, they seldom quarrel. He made sure that he always comes home on time after his office works and he never goes out without his wife unless it's an important client meeting. Catherine is a jealous type of woman and he was careful not to give her any reason to feel jealous about. He is a proud happy family man. He loves spending time with his wife and his children. His whole world revolves around them.

John put his daughter back in the crib.

A moment later, Catherine exited the bathroom and placed the fresh baby James into her husband's tummy. "Wait for a second, I will prepare his milk in the kitchen," she said and get out of the room.

Catherine comes back into the room holding the feeding bottle and handed it to her husband.

John accepted the bottle and placed it on baby James's mouth. He lowered his son in the bed and holds the bottle in place while the baby hungrily sucked at the nipple. "My adorable greedy little mini me," he said in amusement. After a few minutes, the feeding was done and John let his son burped on his shoulder.

Then he placed baby James back in his arms and sang to him a lullaby. "Sleep my darling baby...father is not far away...sleep my darling baby...father is not far away..." he kept singing until his son's eyes start shutting down. He lowered baby James into the bed beside her sister.

Baby Angel was already awake in her crib and Catherine picked her up and placed her in the bed. Baby Angel's eyes roamed around the room, landing at her father and mother's faces, then she smiled like an angel filling the room with a burst of sunshine.

John and Catherine marveled at baby Angel's angelic smile.

"They're so cute!" Catherine gushes with pride in her voice.

"Indeed, they looked like you and me, our miniature self," he agreed with maternal love shining in his eyes. Then John looked at his wife adoringly. "Baby Angel's smile can melt my heart just like her mother's smile," he grinned.

"Awww," Catherine giggled like a teenager.

John smirked and winked naughtily at her. "Do you think it's about time we add another member to our family?" he said jokingly.

He continued staring at her pretty face gauging her reaction to his suggestion.

Catherine rolled her eyes. "I think it's not the time yet. Baby Angel and James are born only one year apart from each other. We need a breather. I mean, let me enjoy taking care of them first and be there for them every stage of their growing up years before we make another baby. I want to personally care for them myself, I simply can't handle three toddlers at the same time," she reasoned out.

John was frowning. "But we can hire a nanny for each of them, we can afford to do that," he insisted.

Catherine was shaking her head. "Hubby, what you didn't understand is that I want to personally take care of each of them during their infancy. I don't like other people taking good care of my babies. I want to give them equal quality time and showered them every day with my love. I don't want to be a baby factory producing babies every year and yet lacking quality time with my children and also with myself. I want to savor all the good aspects of motherhood. I hope you understand husband. Don't worry I'm still young, I'm still 24 years old. We can still make more babies in the future just not right now. I hope you do understand my point of view, hubby," she said looking into his eyes for understanding. She is not complaining about having his babies but adding another baby to baby James and baby Angel is too much for her to handle. She enjoyed motherhood so far, two cute adorable babies and a loving husband make her world go round and completed her and it's enough for her as of the moment, adding another baby would disrupt that already established peace and her mental state.

John was enveloped with silence while looking at his wife.
