Chapter 1

"Zoey"

As soon as I woke up, I felt really tired. I could barely get up to open my eyes.

[What time is it?]

I grabbed my phone and it was already 7:45am

(her school starts at 8:00am)

[I'm gonna be late!]

I brushed my teeth and put on my clothes as fast as I could.

By the time I finished, it was already 7:52am, I grabbed a cherry lollipop from my kitchen counter and rushed out the door.

I hopped on my bike and started to ride to the school.

(Her mom usually drives her, but her mom went abroad yesterday)

I finally rode my bike to the school, and dropped it off at the bicycle parking.

(the bicycle parking is across the street from the school, so to go from the bicycle parking to the school, you have to pass a crosswalk)

I was just waiting till it was finally time to cross the street.

[Be patient! Be patient! You're already late for school]

It was finally time for me to cross and I zoomed across the street.

I ran so fast that you could barely see me cross the street.

I ran straight to the poster board.

(the poster board tells them which class and classroom they are in)

[My class is number 7 and it's in room 208.]

I ran up the stairs as fast I could, without stopping to catch my breath.

I finally got to the second floor and was panting heavily, but I had to keep running.

There was like nobody in the hallway, so it was easier to run.

I was looking on the left of me to try and find my classroom, while still running with my school bag.

[Almost there!]

I was at least two doors down from my classroom.

I kept running and running and ended up falling on top of someone.
