Chapter 8; What kind of nonsense is this?

" All right Master. " Mu Zhu nodded his head and got down to work.

" But Master, should I use our Entertainment City Department or another account? " He lifted his head inquiring while his eyebrows were corked somewhat curious.

" Yeah.. once Zhan Hong comes over you can bring him upstairs, had better hurry up. " He stood up and aligned his shirt before he exited the study room and closed the door.

He took the stairs that were meandering upstairs to the first floor where his massive master bedroom was located and approached the door.

He pushed the doorknob downward and gently opened the door walking inside, glancing at the bed, he couldn't see Zhou Meili as the bed was facing the direction of the door.

He turned his face to the left side where the couch was positioned leaning against the wall, he saw the little woman curled up on the couch. He frowned as he moved forward approaching the couch and bent down to pick her up.

"Master Mu.." Zhou Meili was surprised and exclaimed loudly, she instinctively called him like this as this was how she had heard everyone addressing him.

"Just call me Mu Shen.. why didn't you sleep on the bed?" He walked over to his bed and gently placed her on the bed before nicely tucking her in.

"I... I.." she stammered nervously, her eyes were misty and intoxicating as she had just woken up, he could tell her emotions just from her eyes, she was like an open book that he could read.

"Okay, you can just sleep." He walked back to the couch and sat down elegantly as he tugged his shirt opening the first two buttons.

Zhou Meili was feeling sleepy, so she dozed off and forgot to keep her guard up in these new surroundings.

Inside the Lake View Villa, Zhan Shan stirred up as she rubbed her eyes waking up.

Mu Rong had already freshened up and was sitting on the couch all dressed up waiting for her as the maids served them some dinner.

"Mu Rong.." she sat up while lazily yawning and she eyed the man who was sitting on the couch.

He was wearing a black shirt that fitted his body well with black pants, his hair dangled all over lazily his forehead.

"Mnnh? You are awake?" He stood up and approached the bed, he bent down and kissed her forehead dotingly.

"Yeah, I will freshen up first." She got off the bed and walked into the bathroom while Mu Rong walked into the closet to pick clothes for her.

In the Maple Valley Villa, Mu Zhu was done with the breaking of news and the sudden gossip threw the internet into a frenzy as all kinds of congratulations and insults trended on the internet.

The Mu family was known for its power and capabilities but most importantly a prestigious family who avoided scandals at all points, its news would always cost a bomb and spread like wildfire.

He walked upstairs to his master's bedroom and gently knocked at the door, "come inside.." Mu Shen was busy going through the pending files.

Mu Zhu opened the door and walked inside before passing the tablet to Mu Shen.

He received it and lightly glanced at how it was spreading like wildfire, " not enough.. add more fuel.. just do whatever you can to make sure the news spreads in the entire country and everyone who owns a smartphone should be able to see. " He passed the tablet back to him, it wasn't of any importance.

" All right Master, I will do that immediately. " He turned around to exit when he heard Mu Shen's voice.

" Book two flight tickets immediately, we are going to Bangkok, our casinos suddenly have competitors who are acting dirty." He snickered while he leaned back on the couch.

" Bangkok? Now? " Mu Zhu was surprised, he had heard there was an issue in their Casinos in Bangkok but didn't expect to be calling for an emergency.

"Yeah, the sooner the better."

" Master, I can settle those issues all by myself. " He turned around as he suggested, he was tall around one hundred and seventy centimeters, with light skin, he was proficient in his work and could manage the company in their master's absence.

"Not that I doubt your capabilities but rather that, the situation might be serious and complicated compared to how we are seeing it, it might even take us more days to solve it." He massaged his temples gently before placing the files on the table.

"All right Master, I will arrange it immediately." He exited the bedroom and closed the door behind him before going down the stairs back to the study room.

Mu Shen stood up and walked to the balcony and glanced outside, it was still early evening as the sun was just setting.

He turned sideways and glanced at the woman who was laying on the bed soundly, he didn't want to leave her all alone when he had just brought her into the mansion.

In the Lake View Villa, Mu Rong got simple beige-colored pajamas and passed them to her before returning to the couch and sitting down.

He picked up his phone after hearing it vibrating, it was his father calling, he was surprised so he immediately received the call.

"Hello dad, why are you calling me?" He inquired while his voice was laid back lazily.

" What kind of nonsense is this? Why is there news about your pregnant girlfriend? " The cold voice boomed from the other end of the phone call.
