1 Preface / Author's note

It wasn't a movie, however the atmosphere fit my feelings perfectly. Although it was not raining, the sky was black and cloudy, the forest so dark and gloomy that if someone else saw it they would think that the trees did not have their characteristic green color or their yellow tones or that the grass was actually dry, but its texture when stepped on it indicated otherwise.

I walked looking at the ground, hugging myself, whoever saw it would think I was traumatized, instead, I was not. I was just afraid, afraid of myself.

I didn't know where I was going, I was just following them, after all, it not only seemed that they had done it more than once -something that scared me- if not, that they were also the ones who were carrying the body.

—Where we go? —I asked for

—As far as possible, where no one will find it. —Answered one, my fear increased, but not towards me, towards them, it seemed as if they had already done it before.

I decided to shut up and the silence of the beginning flooded the forest again, only the sound of the air brushing the trees and some animals running among them could be heard. It must have been awkward, but with them, it was never, it was just quiet, and mysterious, partly terrifying.

As I plunged into my thoughts I prayed to my mind, I wanted to forget everything “why can't you forget?” I said to myself trying to look away from him, or that, I no longer know what a dead person is, maybe the dead person is a “who” or maybe just a “what” an object without life, without a soul, with nothing as uninteresting or important as a table that has been thrown away because it is defective.

—We have arrived. —Said one of them, it was the first time he had spoken all the way—. Do you want? —He looked at me.

I raised my head off the ground coming out of my thoughts.

—What?

—Do the honors. —The two of them left the body on the small esplanade, which was in a bag by the way, and he handed me the lighter.

That I burn his body? See how it disappeared?

Yes, I was afraid, I was afraid of them and also myself, but I also needed to burn him, I had to finish what he had started, and he had to completely disappear.

I looked at the lighter, and without hesitation I took it, as I also took a paper that I carried in my pocket, I lit it and threw the paper with fire to the body, well, let's not call it fire, let's call it karma.

The body did not take long to ignite, I did not imagine that the bodies were so flammable. I looked to the left and saw one of the two, like me, watching how karma destroyed the body, but without any expression, the light of the fire illuminated his face, with his perfect features, he was dressed in black, he also wore a T-shirt black loose, and jeans.

His brother was not very different, only that a strange glow ran through his eyes, he did seem to have emotions, but not feelings, he wore a white t-shirt where with black letters turning to gray it said “I'm an angel” I laughed sarcastically.

—I did not expect it from you. —he said, though he knew why I was laughing—. Laughing while a body burns? You surprise me. —He smiled falsely

—You know it's because of the irony of your shirt. —Rolled my eyes.

He just laughed. Her brother took a bag of potatoes out of her backpack and waited for our attention.

—Do you want?. —I laughed, impossible, It was not the right time to laugh, I knew it, but the body no longer mattered to me, I cared for the soul and it was gone.

The three of us sat leaning against a tree while the body completely disintegrated, and we watched as if it were a movie, eating potatoes.

I started to feel bad mentally, all the pressure of having killed someone, and burning them, all the empathy that I thought I had lost came suddenly, I had tried to deceive myself, but it had only accumulated in some imperceptible part of me.

I broke into a sweat and hugged myself as I looked away.

—Look. —said the one in the black shirt lifting my chin to the body.

—What. —tried to lower my head, but couldn't.

—I want you to see every moment that fucking idiot disappears.

author's note

_______________

I hope everything is understood well because the book is mainly in Spanish, and I had to translate it (with the google translator, I know, bad choice of translator)

Well, if you have liked it by now and everything has been perfectly understood, I have to tell you one thing:

Be patient with the book, I promise you that it does not take long to get very interesting, at first it may seem a bit cliché, but I repeat, only at the beginning.

There is a possibility that if you are very sensitive and think about things a lot, some approaches in this book may affect you. And there are very intense things that could affect you too.

Seriously, if you are very sensitive be careful when reading it.

This book (I warn you before) can perfectly break your heart, and keep you alert all the time when reading. Notice that there are many plot twists, all a chaos and disorder, I guess that has a certain beauty.

There is no real character in this book, they all lie and wear masks, no one is who they say they are, trust no one and do not hate anyone.

That meant, remembering that obviously in the first chapters everything will be very normal, and you may not understand certain behaviors of certain characters, but time will give them an answer.

PS: Once you have read the book, you are in the game, and there will be no going back, so if you read it, it is at your own risk.
