1 A Tsunderes change of heart

Yasuna and Sonya where in class together as usual, They where taking a test and the room was quite. Then all of the sudden, there teacher walks up to Yasuna's desk and tells her "Your going home early today, your parents are here to get you". There was a bit of glee in Yasuna's smile as she took her bag and left the classroom, "So that means I have the rest of the day to myself then, thank goodness! I can just go home and relax today" Sonya thought as she continued to work on her test.

(Cut to the next day)

Sonya and Yasuna where sitting at there usual desks, but Yasuna seemed a little bit off today. Yasuna was not talking much today, she was just staring at the window by her desk. "She hasn't spoken to me at all today, hell she didn't even say good morning to me when we passed each other on our way to school" Sonya thought as she looked at her, she was wondering what had happened yesterday to change Yasuna. When it was lunch time, Yasuna was eating her food quitely, Sonya went up to her and asked "You okay?" In her cold tone, "I'm fine Sonya" Yasuna said bluntly, the way she said it caught Sonya off guard a little bit. "That's odd, she usually answers my questions with a cheerful voice and a smile, but now she just has a blank expression on her face and her voice felt cold" Sonya thought. "Are yo-" "Can you just leave me alone right now Sonya?" Yasuna cuts off Sonya from speaking, Sonya just walked back to her desk and continued to eat her lunch. This continued for the rest of the day, even when school let out Yasuna just went on home.

That night when Sonya was in bed, she couldn't sleep, she could only think about the way that Yasuna had acted the whole day. "Something is wrong with her, I know it. She didn't even annoy me at all today, it seems like she is completely out of sorts. What in the hell is going on with her?" Sonya thought as she was looking at a picture on her phone, it was Yasuna smiling, Sonya's heart was beating a little bit faster as she was looking at the picture, "Yasuna, What are you hiding from me?" she says to herself quietly before she puts her phone up and tries to go back to sleep.

Yasuna's behavior had continued like this for the rest of the week, Sonya was getting more and more worried by the day, Even though she put on her usual tough Tsundere look, Sonya was trying hard to keep herself from becoming a sad mess, it was stressing her out, it was making her miserable. When Thursday night had come around Sonya had a nightmare about Yasuna, in it Yasuna and her where on the roof of the school eating lunch, then Yasuna gets up and she opens the door to the fence and she walks out to over the edge of the roof. Sonya tried to stop her, but it's too late as Yasuna jumps off of the roof and falls to her death. Sonya runs down to the spot where she had landed and she screams as she runs to Yasunas' body. She picks her up and she holds her in her arms as she is crying, screaming "Why!?" At the top of her lungs. Sonya then wakes up to her alarm clock beeping, she is still hugging her pillow tight for a few seconds until she realizes that it was only just a dream. She sits up in her bed and she is holding her head, her mind was all over the place, she was trying to think of a way that she could get Yasuna to talk to her. Then she had it, she then got up and she went to her kitchen.

(Cut to Yasuna going to her shoe box at the end of the day)

Yasuna was getting her shoes when she found a slip of paper in her shoe, she took it out and she opened it to find out that it was a letter. It said "Please come to the abandoned classroom today after school" from Sonya. Yasuna took the letter in her hand and she walked up to the classroom. Yasuna reaches the door to the classroom about 10 minutes later, she opens the door and she hears "Welcome Yasuna!" She hears Sonya say, She looks up and she sees Sonya standing in the middle of the room, smiling at her, there was a tea pot on the stove. "What do you want?" Yasuna says in a gloomy tone, "I want to show you something" Sonya says as she walks up to Yasuna and she takes her by the hand and she leads her to a secret room. They get there in two minutes, the room was sound proof with blacked out windows, and it had a big couch in it, along with a coffee table and a lamp. "Sit down on the couch, I'll be right back with the tea and snacks" Sonya says, Yasuna looked a bit confused as she sat down on the couch and she watched Sonya walk out of the room, "Her voice seems to be more cheerful than usual, what is she planning?" Yasuna thought as she looked around the room.

"I'm back" Sonya says as she comes in with a platter, there are two cups of hot tea, honey, and cookies on the platter, she sets it down on the coffee table next to the couch and she sits down next to Yasuna. "What is going on?" Yasuna asks, "You see, I have noticed that you have been acting strange all week, you have not talked to me at all and it's worrying me. I want to know what is going on that is making you act like this" Sonya says as she is mixing honey into the cups of tea.

"I don't want to talk about it" Yasuna says as she takes her cup of tea in her hands and sips it, "Why not?" Sonya asks, "Because it's hard to get into, that's all. Its personal and I don't want to think about it anymore. Also why do you want to know?" Yasuna says as she puts her tea down, her voice felt so cold, a bit of sadness was mixed in it. Sonya puts her tea down and she turned to face Yasuna, she then placed her hands on Yasuna's hands and held them gently, "When we where taking that test on Monday, you got checked out early, then for the whole week you have been in a sad mood all the time. I know deep down that something bad happened, and I don't want you to keep it hidden from me. I want to help you Yasuna, I want to see you smile and have joy in your eyes again, so please don't feel that you can't open up to me" Sonya says in a soft soothing voice while looking at Yasuna in the eyes, Yasuna could see that Sonya's eyes where filled with warm affection and not the cold Tsundere mood that they normally are. *Sigh* "Please don't tell anybody else what I'm about to tell you Sonya" Yasuna says, "Of course, your secret is safe with me" Sonya replies, and she smiles brightly at her.

*Sigh* "When I got to the office to see my parents, they seemed a bit off, I was confused because they had a very worried look on there faces. When we got into the car, there was nothing but silence in there, I asked where we where going, but my dad still stayed silent. My mom was in the back seat with me and she told me that we where going to the vet. We got to the vet in under 20 minutes and we walked in, we where then greeted by one of the doctors, he told us to follow him, we did and as we were walking, I could feel a pit in my gut, it felt so heavy and thick with dread. My dad stopped at the door and he looked at me straight in the eyes and told me that my dog had gotten out of the house and he was run over by a car, and that he was in his last moments of life. We entered the room and I screamed as I ran over to him, he was all mangled up, bloody and he looked like he was in so much pain" Yasuna said as she felt a lump at the back of her throat and she took a sip of her tea. "When I held his paw he looked up at me and licked my cheek and wagged his tail one last time before he shut his eyes and died. I loved him so much!" Yasuna says as she starts to cry. "Come here" Sonya says as she scoots closer to Yasuna and she hugs her tightly, Yasuna cries harder and her breathing becomes heavier as Sonya is holding her. "Shhhh, just let it all out Yasuna. It's going to be okay, I won't let anything bad happen to you" Sonya whispers to her, she is rubbing her back as she is doing so, "Here lay your head down on my lap" Sonya says, Yasuna gets up and she does so, She lays her body long ways on the couch and is looking is looking up at Sonya, looking at how she is affectionately smiling at her. Sonya then stars to massage Yasuna's temples with the palms of her hands, "Just relax and think about nothing, I want you to be happy" Sonya says as she is doing this. Yasuna's eyes where shut as she was dong this, "Her hands feel so warm and soft, the way she's gently massaging my head is so relaxing" Yasuna thought as her breathing became more regulated and her crying became softer. "Shhhhh, just enjoy it, I want to pamper you" Sonya says as she continued to do this.

"Sonya" Yasuna asked with a sniffle, "Yes Yasuna?" Sonya asked, "I want to cuddle" She said as she opened her eyes a little and she still had tears in her eyes, "Sure, let me move the coffee table" Sonya said as she gets up and moves the coffee table to the corner of the room, she then walks to the left side of the couch and says "Get up from the couch for a minute" to Yasuna, Yasuna nods and she gets up and walks out of the way. Sonya presses a button on the couch and it opens up into a Queen sized bed with pillows and a very big blanket.
