12 I'm only me when I'm with you

Ethan was busy packing when the door of his bedroom was suddenly slammed open. He has been packing since yesterday and as of now, he could only pack his books. He let out a loud sigh and stared at the person who almost broke his door.

She has her usual hairstyle, the one that's covering her face.

Louisa saw next to his luggage on the bed and showed him what she had written on her pad.

'I don't have space in my luggage, can I put some in yours?'

He let out another sigh and nodded. He and his siblings might have always been pulling a prank on Louisa but when she has a request, either small or big, they will always do it.

The girl then left his room after getting his approval.

Ethan emptied all the books he had packed in the luggage and closed it. He followed his sister to her bedroom so he can help her with packing.

As he entered her room, his lips parted in shock. The room was filled with huge boxes, some were on the floors and the others were on the couch and bed.

Ethan rose an eyebrow. Slowly, he walked towards the bed. He opened one of the boxes and found all the toys and clothes inside crumbled and mixed up. It was as if Louisa just took it and tossed it in the box without consideration.

He turned to his sister with a concerned look. His parents had tried talking to her but, the girl was so mysterious that she doesn't allow anyone to know what she has in her mind.

He decided to help her with the packing and it took them hours to pack everything. When they went downstairs, they found their parents and siblings in the living room. All of their luggage was also waiting while a truck was parked outside.

In the other side, Alexa had packed all the clothes, shoes, jewelry and collection she has. And seeing the truck outside made her face turned into a flat. Without calculation the size of the truck, she figured that her boxes were not fitted inside.

When she saw her brothers helping Louisa to bring her boxes downstairs, her lips parted in shock. She thought her stuff was too much but, seeing Louisa's boxes which were full of weird stuff, she realized that she was normal.

"Mommy, I don't think the truck is enough to transport all of our things," she spoke as she turned at her mother who was busy talking to the driver.

When her mother turned her back to face them, a fake smile was on her lips.

"You all know that our new house is small so we won't have enough space for everything,"

"So, are we leaving it in the villa?"

"No honey. We are going to sell it."

(Sell?) Alexa was dumbfounded. Her eyes swelled in shock turned to her luggage and the boxes she had packed earlier.

(It took me hours to pack it!) she screamed in her mind.

She then remembered the cost of her clothes. How much she spent on it and how much she loves looking at her reflection whenever she wears expensive clothes.

She picked up one of the floral dress in one of her open boxes and showed it to her mother.

"Mom, this dress is very expensive. This was a limited edition and I don't think someone will spend so much money to buy this dress," she blurted.

Her mother emitted a sighed and asked the truck driver to wait outside. Daniella took the dress from her hand and showed her the price tag which she hasn't removed.

"Darling, you only wore this once. And it was when you tried it on in the store. If you were able to buy it. I am pretty sure someone will buy it again. And we are not selling it for the same price. I had rented a place in the market where you can sell used clothes," then her mother started picking up the clothes she had just pack and checked the price tag on each on them.

(Market?)

Her heart pulverized when she realized what her mother was saying.

The market was the place for rich people to sell their clothes at a cheaper price. It was really a knock out price that it will be much better if they will just give it away.

She had been there when she was small. The time when she thought they didn't have money so she needed to sell her toys to buy a new order.

They grew up like that. If they want to buy a new toy, they need to sell the old toys they have and use the money to buy a new one. It was until she was ten when she realized that her parents have enough money to buy everything they wanted. She felt like she had been played by her mother, she worked so hard on saving money which she didn't need too.

And since then, she started on buying the expensive things her eyes had laid on. At first, she tried asking her mother but she always has one answer and that is a big 'NO'. So, she decided to ask her father, uncle's, auntie's and her grandmother and they never once said no to her.

Thinking that all of her clothes will be 'given away' or 'sell' at a cheap price was really breaking her heart.

And seems like her mother understands her feelings.

"You can keep the clothes that will fit into your closet but the rest. We will have to sell it. You can keep the money," her mother spoke in a soft tone.

Hearing the word 'money' was enough to lift her mood. She bites her lips and looked at her mother with a smile on her lips.

"Really?"

"Yes, and the same goes to your siblings,"

Alexa cheered inside, her mother was right, she doesn't need all the clothes and she prefers to have the money in hand if ever she has something else to buy.

Leo on the other side was staring on his phone. His eyes have been glued since morning waiting for a response.

Since he found out that they will be moving in his Aunt Novie's province. He decided to contact the girl he has been chatting for a while.

Cassie Morgan. She was his classmate before, even though the girl was two years older than him, he still decided to message her and since then they have become friends. Now that he has a big chance of seeing her again, he could not help but feel excited.

When his phone buzzed, he almost jumped from the couch. He excitedly opened it and the message she had written made his heart pulverized.

(Of course, we can meet up!)
