35 The Xia And The Chen

Anna was alone on the balcony drinking a glass of champagne when Chen Jun and Chen Yu joined her. She smiled to them but remained quiet, contemplating the dark sky.

"Sister, you were awesome. You really beat their ass."

Anna glanced at Chen Jun, unknowing if she should tell his younger brother about his dead mother. Chen Jun shook his head in answer, Chen Yu was too young to bear a secret like this.

"Thank You, Chen Yu. I prepared myself for years, but it's not finished. I got to find my mother's family."

Chen Jun nodded. "I don't know if she didn't want her family to be discovered. She hid it pretty well, I found nothing."

Chen Yu sat on a chair. "She's a real mystery this Xia Meixi. Like a ghost, she arrive and dissapeared without a trace."

"Nah, she didn't dissapeared. She was killed to me and we hid her body and faked a car accident."

Chen Jun shrugged. "We don't know yet. I asked someone to search about it. The body they found was carbonated, no one was sure if it was really her body."

"You, young people, don't know how to celebrate. All of you won a fight, shouldn't you be happy?"

Su Xiao was in the entrance with her arms crossed. She sighed and hugged her granddaughter. "I know it's hard to lose your mother but don't make it an obsession. You have an husband to love and cherish too."

Si Xiao glanced at Chen Jun who had a small smile then look at her granddaughter's flat belly. "Shouldn't your belly be curved by now dear? You got to be more active both of you okay?! I want to see my grand grandchildren before I die."

Anna's face turned red in an instant. Not only her grandmother's comment was embarrasing but she also pictured herself under Chen Jun's perfect body. As for Chen Jun, he coughed. Him and Anna were busy with work for now weeks. They hardly had time for this activity.

"Madame Su is right. I also want to see a baby soon. Chen Jun, you better get on it. I count on you."

Elder Chen was so serious that it made everyone burst in laughter. Soon, both of the Elders laughed with their grandchildren.

Chen Anran had been watching the scene for now minutes. She greeted her teeth as they laughed. She was angry because they made an beautiful and happy family. And it wasn't the case for the Chen when it came to mother and son relationships.
