46 The unconscious woman

In Korea, at the same time that Anna and Xia Yu were arguing, an old lady opened a wide door. It lead to a white corridor that it dazzled the old woman. She had these beautiful white hair that weirdly matched with the wall. She slowly walked and often glanced through the window. They showed empty hospital bed that depressed the old lady.

She kept walking in silent, the only sound you could hear was her slow footsteps. Her arms were crossed behind her back which made her look even older than before. She kept looking around as if it was the first time she went here. It wasn't... She kept coming here for the past fifteen years and she kept discovering the corridor.

After a long walk in the corridor, the old woman stopped near a window. It showed a bed where was lying a middle aged woman. She had light brown hair and a white skin. Beside her was a doctor who noted result on a paper. He immediately greetes the old woman when he saw her.

"Lady,she should wake up soon. Everything is fine, she will remember..."

The old lady nodded. "She need to remember. Someone is waiting for her for fifteen years. That person suffered enough in her life."

The doctor seemed confused. He looked at the old lady and then to the woman. "My lady meant herself right?"

The old woman shook her head. "No, she left a someone in this cruel world. Someone weak without love... Lost in the darkness of life."

"That is sad, my lady. That person must be someone that my lady cared about... Since she cured her relative."

The old lady sat beside the woman then she caressed her hair affectionately. "I haven't met that person even though I care for her. I am scared to disturb her if I show up. She lived without us..."

The doctor gave the exam result. "I'm sure that my lady and the family will love to learn about the result. "

He then turned around and left the room. It suddenly turned silent, you could only hear the respiration of the woman and the old lady. She flipped the page quickly and grabbed the woman hand.

"You better wake up soon, my dear. I have been waiting for this moment for more than twenty years...Please open your eyes..."

The old lady didn't receive any answer from the woman who was still unconscious. The old lady sighed and got up. She was about to leave when she heard her cellphone ring. She read an unknown number and decided to answer.

"Hello?"

"I have finally found you mother... How does it feel to hear your daughter's voice again?"

The voice was expecting her to hang up but the old lady actually replied. "Horrible... You have the voice of a monster my daughter. I wish that I could be deaf like that I won't hear your voice."

"Is that how you greet your daughter? You know, I don't hate you. If you come back and give me your heritage, I could spare you..."

The old woman laughed. "Thanks for you kindness but I will have to decline. I have better things to do than arguing with a mistake!"

"I am offended mother... You have granddaughter you know! Beautiful and from my husband..."

"An illegitimate daughter you have. Your husband as you say never loved you and neither will I. One day, dear, you will pay for what you did and you'll regret what you did...
