8 Hospital

Sheng Jun was still in the emergency room when the sun rose. Anna was worried and couldn't sleep at all. The drug that Liu Xue gave was a strong one and it take time for the body to eject it. Anna was waiting for news for now four hours. It was surprising how Anna could stay awake when she cared for someone.

Five hours later, the doctors finally allowed Anna to see Sheng Jun. He was doing well and awake. Sheng Jun realized that she had black circles under her eyes and was really tired. Her face still lit up when she saw him and smiled

Sheng Jun sighed "You really can't take care of yourself "

Anna laughed "You're no better"

"I know" Sheng Jun loves her laugh, her smiled, he loved everything about her.

Anna was tired and slowly fell asleep on his bed. Sheng Jun patted her head affectionately. After few minutes, his grandfather arrived. Seeing his soft gaze, he knew that his grandfather was happy.

"She is Anna, Grandfather"

Elder Sheng's heart warmed when he saw Anna's sleeping face "I'm glad you found someone who care for you"

In a serious tone Sheng Jun said "I'm gonna propose to her"

Elder Sheng almost choked, but seeing his grandson face he knew that he was not joking.

Elder Sheng sighed "She's from the Su family"

Sheng Jun nodded. He already knew that and wasn't much angry that she lied. He only wanted an explanation. He suddenly heard his grandfather leaving the room, letting Anna who was now widely awake and Sheng Jun.

" Sorry, I lied to you"

Sheng Jun remained silent for a moment. "Why did you leave ?"

Anna nervously laughed " I didn't live a great childhood. Since my mother death and the remarriage of my father, I've been bullied, beaten and mistreated for no reasons. In only one month, I lost the weight I should have lose in one year. Of course, my father was blind and didn't move a finger. It was too late when he realized my stepmother and stepsister's actions. I already vanished and was nowhere to be found. To stabilized his conscious, he didn't make Miha the heir. Even if she was the heir, she wouldn't have much glory."

Sheng Jun was in deep thought after she finished her story. It would explained the photos where Anna was really thin and pale as a ghost. She supported all the pain for so many years no wonder she lied to him. Sheng Jun wanted to kill her father and her step family.

"Our family wanted me to get engaged to Su Miha"

Anna suddenly stood up, a flash of hatred and sadness passed on her pale face. She stare at the man who was going to be his stepsister's fiancé. Just this thought made her sad and she was mostly disgusted.

"Is that what you want,Jun?"

Sheng Jun sighed and stared at Anna for a moment. " The person who I want to get engaged with is standing right in front of me "

Anna blushed and went blank. She stayed quiet and could only stared at the who just proposed to her.

Behind the door, Elder Sheng smiled and left quietly the hospital. He knew that a great show was coming and that no matter what he'll support Su Anna or Su Mei in her battle.
