His mother

When Anna finally finished to work, it was almost dark. Even though Chen Jun was probably still at his work, Anna felt bad to work 'til very late. Anna sighed and looked at the dark sky of the night. She closed her eyes and fell into the darkness of her mind.

Her ringtone brought her back to reality. She took it and read Chen Jun's name. She could only smile when she took the phone. "I know I'm late!"

"Does my son need to pick you up?"

Her voice froze Anna immediately. Anna's face was pale like she had seen a ghost. She had heard many things about this woman. They weren't always good, some said that she was cruel and even hurted her children. Just this thought made Anna hivered.

What she didn't know was that Chen Jun's mother had already read the name on the phone. In his phone, Anna was called 'Wifey' which piqued his mother's curiosity.

"So?"

"No, I'll just walk home. Jun doesn't need to be disturb for me. He must be busy anyway, Miss Chen."

On the other side of the phone, Chen Anran was stunned. Nobody called her son Jun, not even her. But she shook her head as she rembered her true purpose.

"Miss, I don't who you are but I want you to divorce him. He already have a fiancee."

Anna laughed "My sister? I think you have made the wrong choice. You better change, nobody want a scheming woman like her, but that's your call Chen Anran."

Chen Anran started to tremble "You're Mei?"

"I am but nobody call me that way. I prefer Su Anna. I believe you know what my dear sister has done to me right?"

Chen Anran answered in a whisper "Yes."

"Then you must change his fiancee as soon as possible. It will hurt my father but who cares ?"

"You'll do that to your own father, mother and sister?"

Anna laughed bitterly "Compared to what they did to me, it's nothing Miss Chen. Plus, they took my mother's life and correct me if I'm wrong, you helped my stepmother to get rid of her."

"I didn't do that. Why would I help Lihua?"

Anna laughed "You got tricked in your own game Miss Chen. You called Lihua, you're close to her. But that I will somehow make you pay."

"Chen Jun will be against it. I'm his mother."

"We both know that's a lie. You killed her like you killed mine. Faking an accident then found her dead body. I wonder something, do you know what is like to be raised without mother?"

" I don't."

"I know that because you wouldn't have take my mother's life if you knew what is like not to be loved by a mother."

"You had Su Lihua!"

Anna burst in laugher but tears began to fall. "She's not my mother. My mother didn't beat me if I broke a glass. She wouldn't force me to do anything! She wouldn't hide me or anything! She would only love me. Su Lihua never did and never will."

With that Anna hung up and walked in the cold night. Tears in her eyes, she squatted down and sobbed the silent of the road. She barely had the time to love her mother amd was took away by those people. If they thought that Anna would stay here and just watch, they were wrong.

Strongs arms came embraced her. The familiar scent of his clothes and his hot breath reassured her. She turned around and sobbed in his big arms.

From the car, Chen Anran watched the scene. She kept watching until she felt her son's look on her. She was terrified. His eyes wasn't cold, he had a murderous look on his face as he was ready to take her down at anytime.
