Absolute Control over Time

*Roar*

A loud roar reverberated across the forest. It even blew the winds within the proximity which made the trees sway. The ground shuddered a bit as it trembled.

"Pretty much, I made the right decision.."

Allen looked back with a relieved expression within his face. He saw a towering elephant facing an unknown kind of bird. They seemed to be glaring at each other.

He turned his head away and looked at his front. He's been running for a dozens of minutes and anyone can surely say that he's goddamn exhausted because of the fatigue. Buckets of sweat poured down from his body to the ground as he still continued to run away as far as possible.

However, Allen knew that if he kept running in this way, he would never get away from those bastards glaring at each other, seemingly ready to fight any time and rock the heavens and earth!

He stopped running as he breathed in and out to catch his breath. He felt his body losing strength as he slowly sat on a tree to rest. He can still feel the ground and air tremble as the pair of vicious beast face each other.

He waited for a bit whilst sitting and resting on a tree. Although, he seems to be carefree and indifferent while resting, he would still look at the two vicious beasts out of the corner of his eyes from time to time.

After calming down, both physically and mentally, Allen sat in a lotus position as he focused at something within him. He tried to contact the Eternal Heaven Pearl within him but he did not receive any some kind of reply or force. He felt as if he's only wandering aimlessly without any guide.

"Fuck that old man! He did not even explained to me how to use these treasures!"

Allen clenched both his fists in anger and aggravation as he cursed the old man inwardly using all of his brain cells. After a while of cursing the old man, he finally calmed down as he tilted his head and contemplated.

'Maybe.. I'm doing it wrong?'

He tilted his head once again in confusion and curiosity as he thought of different aspects about the treasures he has. First, out of the seven treasures he has, he was only able to use the Eternal Heaven Pearl. Second, he used it through some sort of command. Third, the pearl itseld did not materialized. Fourth, the treasure did not drain him out, which means that he can use it indefinitely? But he's still not so sure about that.

Allen tried to gather his utmost focus on time as he tried to wash away his other irrelevant thoughts. He closed his eyes as he imagined time halting and the world becoming black and white. He slowly uttered with a low voice.

"Time.. Stop.."

Suddenly, Allen felt something within him trigger as the world became black and white, the same with the pair of vicious beasts staring at each other. He slowly opened his eyes and saw the falling leaves halt in the air.

He slowly stood up and faced the tree behind him. He tried to punch it a little bit, but reality betrayed his expectation as the tree stood tall without any damage from his punch. He expected that the tree would immediately collapse.

He then focused once again as he tried to resume the time albeit in a weird way. He relayed his orders to the pearl through thoughts as he commanded it to resume the time in a way that he would be fast whilst everything outside would be slow.

He saw the black and white energy slowly retract as it only covered his body without any excess seeping out. He saw the beasts still not moving but he squinted his eyes and observed the situation more carefully.

He saw approached the supposedly falling leaves but is currently levitating in air without any movements or so he thought. He was able to notice the leaves move albeit only a bit, a little bit, to the point that it's barely recognizable. With this, Allen confirmed his suspicions that the world indeed resumed but he's just.. too fast!

Whilst Allen was walking away slowly in his eyes, compared to the eyes of others, he already vanished from the current place. In reality, the two vicious beasts even stopped their staring contest as they focused their gaze on the place where Allen was previously staying.

The eyes of the pair of beasts suddenly tightened as they felt the wind suddenly getting ripped apart without any resistance.

*Boom*

The force of the wind is so tremendous the it blew the pair of beasts away for about 20 meters which made the ground tremble a bit.

The towering elephant found himself lying on the ground like some piece of crap. He looked around the forest with a confused expression as he found it unbelievable for a mere wind to blow him away. After all, he's an Overlord Beasts! Yes. An overlord beasts that has attained the level of Tyrant Profound Realm.

A being attaining the cultivation of Tyrant Profound Realm can be considered as one of the top existence within the planet as the highest are the Monarchs! With the power of an overlord, decimating an empire would be an easy feat with their sturdy bodies and boundless strength.

However, Allen, the source of all this disturbances, is completely oblivious to the fact that he's currently wandering around the forests with Overlord beasts living within! Maybe Monarch beasts exists too.

After a while of 'slow' walking, Allen finally saw a village as his a smile escaped his lips. He stretched out his hands to his back as he sighed in relief.

'Finally, some people..'

He slowly deactivated the power of the Eternal Heaven Pearl as the black and white energy vanished from his body. Thankfully, Allen still had some brain cells left within his skull as he slowly reduced his time and matched it up with the outside. This way, he won't encounter harm from the natural forces of the world.

After that, he slowly walked towards the village. He did not knew that the village before him isn't some kind of 'ordinary' village..
