36 Chapter 36: Fruits
After what happened earlier, team Abyss had decided to take a break on their journey and settle on the town for a day.
The ambush was something that Adam was not expecting and he reacted immaturely on the situation.
' Hays. As the boss, I had really lost my calm and senses. How can my people respect me in the future? No! I must re-establish my prestige in the team. " Adam thought and motivate himself inwardly.

" It had been analyzed that Gil will take 30 days to establish a solid foundation as a tier 2 evolutionary. To hasten the process, the host can feed them the fruits provided in the [ Garden of the King ] to decrease the time for 7 days.
The rest of the team which are tier 1 evolutionary can establish a solid foundation within 25 days and can be hastened to 5 days using the fruits and water in the garden. ]
The fruits actually had such effects?!

You mean, I can't become stronger easily as what I can do to others?

After reaching peak tier, Gil can then drink 3 evolutionary serum to advance and officially become tier 3. "

Gil said that nucleus is very precious and can't be bought easily.
Even if you are strong, retrieving nucleus from zombies stronger than you will be extremely dangerous.

Seeing that everyone are doing their things to set up a quarter for them to rest, Adam called Gil.

Gil walked towards Adam and the concern on his face for what happened to Adam earlier can be clearly shown.
" By the way boss, are you okay now? That should have been hard for you as it was your first time seeing something like that closely. " Gil said.
Gil is really worried that what happened to Anna will leave a deep trauma to their young boss.
" Don't worry, I'm okay. I would have look so stupid back then right? " Adam said while sighing.
" No boss, you look just fine. You're only 16 and young, even though you are strong, it doesn't mean you are immune to pain and sadness. So, your reaction was completely understandable! " Gil said while trying to comfort Adam who looks depressed.
" Hmmm Right! Hahaha, I can only improve myself in the future. Thank you Gil "
" No problem. " Gil said while smiling brightly.
" These are 10 tier 3 nucleus. Absorb these and advanceme to intermediate stage. " Adam said while passing the nuclei.
" Th-this! Boss it's too much! " Seeing ten nuclei in his hands which are only as big as a thumb, Gil's hand is shaking.
In his life, this is the first time he held so many nucleus!
" Nah, you guys are my people so providing for you is my responsibility. Don't worry, I have a lot of those hahaha. "

Gil will not ask anything more from his boss. All he need to do is to become stronger to be able to serve their boss in the future better.
And in the team, not only Gil had this mentality. Everyone associated to Adam through [ loyalty branch ] is the same.

In a room, a middle-aged man in military suit is meeting a woman who had her eyes closed as a small hill of tier 3 and 4 nucleus are surrounding her.
The woman is a tier 4 advance awakened and is trying to breakthrough to peak stage. But due to the lack of tier 5 nuclei, she can only gather thousands of tier 3 and 4 nucleus to compensate with numbers to advance.
But absorbing the nucleus is a very tedious task and the number of nuclei are making the process long.
After weeks of isolation, the woman had not even finished even a half of the nucleus because regardless of tier, the length of time to absorb it is the same. Even if she is an awakened and can absorb nucleus faster than evolutionary, they still need to render huge time just to advance.
" Base Chief, the horde of zombies this time is way too big! I am afraid that the base will not be able to defend against it. " Albert said to the beautiful 30 year old woman in front.
This woman is a tier 4 awakened known for the legacy of ' Flame Magician Orthos '.
" I see. This is the biggest wave that our base will suffer. Did you tried to send request for help from the Army? " the woman said as she open her eyes and stop absorbing the energy from the nuclei.
" I already sent a messenger but I doubt that they can arrive on time before our base collapses. I seek the base chief to lead us. " Albert said as he bow his head.
They are the top echelons of Pandora Base and the lives of thousands of people lies in their hands. He must make sure that he can let the survivors in their base to live.
" * sigh * This is bad. How many days do we have left? "
" We still have 3 days before the horde reach our area. "
The woman then went to a deep contemplation.
The Army was already informed and will probably take around 4 or 5 days to reach Pandora.
That means that Pandora needs to delay the zombies for a day or two.

" T-the boss is..... hmmm " Anna said shyly that she can't complete her sentence.
She was just saved by the younger boss. So she was shy that her boss is giving them another things.
" Everyday you'll be eating these and don't worry, I'll never runout of them so don't hesitate. Just remember that your boss is the best! " Adam said as he smile brightly to Anna.
His people with their loyalty will never post any threats to him. So he must be generous to them even if they reach the base.
" Then.. then we'll take these. Thank you Boss! " Gil said as he reached for an apple that he doubt he can finish himself.
Are these genetically modified? But the boss said he had a lot of it.
Well whatever! Since it is the boss, there's no use having these kinds of questions.
Yes, whatever the boss do or takes out, as a qualified underling, I must never question it.

" After eating those, everyone will start training. " Adam then suddenly said.

Though the changes are minute but he can feel that as he eat more of these fruits, his body will change and become stronger.

" Seeing her kill those bastards, she surely can be our trainer. " Arnold said as he eat some fruits too.
" With miss Jaya we will surely improve! "
" Right! " Everyone agreed to the statement.
Though the little maid of the boss looks very cute and small, her body is hiding such ferocious side. Having her in the team aside from the ever scary Sir Arthus is a relief. Atleast Jaya always smile at them!
" Sadly...that... would be...me " Arthus on the side said as his dangerous aura locks on everyone.

Everyone then remember all the zombies that were torn to pieces, torched by black flames and hacked to death.
