Chapter 14

(an: disclaimer, this chapter sucks, I'm sorry.)

(Mc pov)

"..."

"... soooooo, you gonna say something?"

"..."

"Ok look, as much as I adore watching you all shake in your boots 'they were not shaking, although their tension was palpable.' its late and im fucking hungry, so how about we actually speak before I decide to just leave."

"... haaaaaaaaaaa, Hello there… Kyōki? My name is Riveria, vice captain of the Loki familia, the man below you is Finn, captain of the Loki familia, and this here is Loki, our goddess."

Well then, that answers a few questions I guess, most pressing of which being why that red head felt so different to the other two, but opens up so many more. 

First of all, I guess gods are real in this world, but how powerful are they? Is it simply a quirk of my senses that makes me feel like I'm stronger than her? Or am I actually more powerful? Am I just special or are others also more powerful than gods? Is their strength simply sealed?

I guess I already know the answer to a few of those questions, for example, the guy still struggling to breath also feels stronger than her, so I guess it's not because I'm special, I still don't know if it's just a quirk of my senses, but the way that she tensed when I incapacitated the man I now know to be finn, it likely isn't, although I would rather not bet on that.

Finally, isn't Loki a guy? Then again I guess he could shapeshift, including gender, heck there was a time he turned into a female horse to distract the horse of a giant so he couldn't finish a wall in time and get Freya's hand in marriage as a reward. Including some variations in which Loki ended up having sex with said hors-

Suddenly a fist passed through the air where my face had been just moments before.

"Whoa there what was that for."

"I could feel your rude thoughts from here."

Ok wait, can she read my mind? Or is this that anime trope where the girl always knows.

Well then, now what, I got their names, and I honestly don't know how to continue this interaction, I mean up until literally hours ago the only human interaction I had had in millenia was interacting with other "survivors'' in the trail, and those werent even real humans, just imitations of them, however perfect. I do want to know what a familia is, but I can always figure that out later, I still need to stop by the guild.

"Yeah yeah sure, so then, I was picked up after attempting to buy something with a magic crystal, I guess I'm sorry for that? I won't do it again. Now its getting late and I'm really fucking hungry so how about you let me off with a warning and everything will be just peachy."

From the way that their mouths moved soundlessly I can guess they are just as confused by the current situation as I am.

"Uh yeah sure, but fir-"

"Ok great, nice meeting you! See ya around!"

Ah, perfect, they let me go without any trouble, how nice of them, yeah sure they were about to say something, but if you don't give them time to voice it its their own fault for not speaking fast, enough, and since I was already out of the room by the time Loki had even begun the second part of her sentence, I am of no fault here.

Anyway, I'm fucking hungry, and that inn smells good, ill just go to the guild in the morning.

(an: I hate this chapter, but I'm tired and I really, really didn't know how to end the whole Loki familia interaction, so I just kinda gave up. I know it's probably disappointing you all waited so long for this piece of shit of a chapter but whatever.)
