The Beginning (1/2)

When I saw the door opening and was about say I'm home, my voice got caught in the back of my throat at the sight before me. [Damn Sarah really became a beautiful women but I shouldn't be surprised since she takes after our mother]. Max just kept staring wether it be her long black hair that captivated her face perfectly or her body which has grown since the last time he saw her. Standing at 177cm(5ft. 9in.) tall and if he would have to guess at least D-Cup sized breasts with a slim waist, nice perky ass, and long legs that just make you want to admire them.

Plus she would always comfort me over the phone when I lost some of my close comrades during battles or if I had any other problems and I would do the same and listen to her problems and give my advice as well as comfort her. We basically became pillars for each other to lean on or as our parents would like to call it being a married couple.

When I snapped out of my thoughts I greeted her playfully "So how is my little wife doing, I didn't expect you to be here I thought you were stationed at the weapons development base in Acrine city". When she heard me call her my little wife I saw her cheeks go red but she still ignored my teasing and answered my question "I still am stationed there but I had to come to our parents house to pick up my new personal bodyguard since they made me the head of a highly classified project, so they marked me as a VIP and they want someone to be able to protect me. Oh yeah here are your new orders and you can start calling me boss from now on my dear husband".

At first I was intrigued on what kind of weapons project it is but near the end I was caught off guard since her face came right next to mine and whispered the "dear husband" part right into my ear. When I snapped out of it I saw her about to pull back but before she could I grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug and whispered into her ear "I'm glad to see you again". When she heard my words I could feel her hugging me tighter before she said back "Me too, I missed you". We stayed like that for couple minutes before we headed inside the house.

After closing the front door I headed up to my room on the second floor to set all my things down before coming back down stairs to talk with Sarah about what she said earlier. As I entered the living room and sat on the couch next to Sarah, I took the envelope that was in my hands that she gave me earlier which contains my new order's and opened it and read through the file inside.

After I finished skimming through the file that stated I was going to be appointed as the bodyguard of Sarah I turned to her "This is all your doing right?". To my question she just turned her head away, I'm guessing to compose herself. Couple seconds later she turned around facing me "I might have pulled a few strings to have you placed as my personal bodyguard but that's only because some annoying bug that works at the facility tried to get appointed the job through his father's connections in the military even though all he does is ogle all the female staff there when he is on duty. Luckily I know a few people higher up the chain of command then his father, plus once they saw our relationship and your merits they agreed. I may have added that I will only accept you as my bodyguard".

[From her explanation even though I couldn't catch the last part of it since she was basically mumbling her words I'm going to have to deal with some fuck boy. Well whatever I'll just do what I did in high school and persuade this guy with a couple accidental injuries.]

"Well it's fine with me since at least I can stay here and not be stuck in a different country. Besides I want to find a place for myself and not be stuck living at our parents house. Where is our parents anyway? I wanted to surprise them".

When I finished talking I noticed a huge smile showed on Sarah's face and then she started talking all excitedly. "You don't need to worry about finding a place you can just stay at my place since I have an extra room and our parents won't be back for couple weeks since they used their leave to go on a trip together to Solaris City that has all those new resorts near the beach and theme parks".

"What! They didn't even tell me, well can't really argue about it since I didn't even tell them I'm coming home. Anyways I'm fine with moving in with you I don't have to much I need to pack up anyways so when are we heading over to Acrine City". [I wanted to get my own place but living with Sarah would be better, since some accidents may happen.]

Sarah got even more excited when she heard that he agreed to move in with her. [Maybe some fortunate accidents will happen after he moves in with me]. "Great we can finish packing tonight and head over to my place in the morning. I'll order some take out while you start getting your thing's packed".

As I watched Sarah get up and practically skip to the kitchen to grab her phone, I went up stairs to pack my clothes and some necessities for the trip over since it's about a five hour drive their. I still have my other things in my duffel bags so I didn't have to worry about that at least, since one is carrying all my combat gear while the other has some military fatigues, a tablet, and laptop that I would use to read some light novels to help pass the time when waiting to go on our next missions.

It took about only 15 minutes to finish packing what I needed so I headed back down stairs, switched on the tv and turned to the news channel where they were talking about how hospital occupancy has started to soar and in some cases overflowing with patients that are having high fevers and other symptoms. As I was listening to the news I heard the door bell ring and was about to get up to answer the door when Sarah stopped me saying "I got it you had a long flight so you should just relax since we will be busy tomorrow".

A few seconds later Sarah came back with a box of pizza and set it on the living room table and went to grab some paper plates and drinks from the kitchen before coming back and sitting right next to me. We just enjoyed each other's company while eating pizza and watching tv for the rest of the night.

When I woke up my head felt all groggy and my chest felt a little heavy. As I looked around I realized I fell asleep last night with my head laying on the armrest of the couch and when I went to look down at why my chest felt heavy I saw Sarah laying there with her arms wrapped around me like a Cowala. [Wow they really are soft, I know I felt it when she hugged me yesterday but damn she looks erotic especially in her low v-neck pajama top and those short pajama bottoms are barely covering her ass. When Sarah finally finished her call she let out labored breath's while trying to calm herself down. After about five minutes we separated our mouth's from each other and since I was still in a daze I said the first thing that was on my mind.

Before I could even focus I felt her lips on mine again but I also felt something wet hitting my face and when I noticed her crying I just hoped that they were tears of happiness. After another couple minutes we separated again.

"I love you too Max, ever since we entered high school together I noticed I started to develop feelings for you. Since you always helped me when ever I needed it and encouraged me to improve myself not only to become physically and mentally strong but to also strive to reach higher then the goals I already set for myself. Before I knew it you already stole my heart Max and became a pillar in my life that can't be replaced".

[Damn if she is going to tell me all that then she needs to know how I feel towards her also, she deserves more then me just saying I love you].

"Sarah I want you to know I feel the same way on how you also became a pillar to support me in my life as well, whether it was from saving me from all the grief I was feeling as I watched so many of my comrades die before me or when you encouraged me to try to move forward and strive to become better so I won't have to experience going through the same ordeal again. I just want to say thank you for everything".

After I said that I closed my eyes for a few seconds and took a deep breathe to calm myself down, I then looked straight into Sarah's eyes and brought my hands to her face and rubbed my thumbs along her cheeks and decided to just go for it.

"Sarah Brookshaw will you marry me"
