15 Yearned to be embraced

The Municipal Shelter that used to be an administrative building, has a buildup area of 600 square meters. It was divided by the East Wing, West Wing and the Central Building.

The refugees were hiding in the Central Building and West Wing, accommodating a rough number of 2,000 people.

The East Wing was connected to the NorthEast Gate that fell not too long ago.

Although the building itself wasn't compromised, the Militia didn't place the refugees in there as a preventive method.

Although, sinisterly, the DIKASARI Militia has been weeding out foreigners and placed them captive inside that very risk-prone East Wing.

In their eyes, they couldn't give a single glance if their lives are jeopardized. The only lives that matter are the lives of their citizens, not immigrants'.

When the apocalypse happened at 8PM, the ultra-nationalist group was campaigning nearby the Municipal.

Rallying to their cause in the nearby commercial area, they headed towards the closed and empty Municipal Building (Government working hours ends at 5.30PM on a weekday).

The panicked situation forced the security guards of the building to open up the gates.

The 200-odd members quickly establish a base and communication lines to all their members. That was how they seized control over the building.

As for the Municipal officers who are also the current ruling government's officials, they were either transported to safety or perished.

Inside the Central Building, the crowd of people numbered around thousands kept quiet.

Even knowing that the Militia were forcefully taking out foreigners that hid amongst the locals, the locals were powerless.

The Militia had weapons such as rifles and handguns. The line of networks they establish made the situation controllable because they received ample supplies in a short time.

"Shut up! Just do as we say!"

A Militia member roared at a blonde haired teenage girl, aged around 19 years old. He grabbed her left arm but faced with resistance from her.

A blonde older woman in her 40s, supposing to be the girl's relative, was pulling her daughter's other arm.

"Sir! Please! Take me instead! Let my daughter stay here!!PLEASE!!"

Her begging howl annoyed the Militia member, and a slap landed right on her pale cheeks.

SMACK!

The horrible sound of abuse rang in the hall, but nobody stood up for them.

"Ptui! White sow! I will deal with you later, wait your turn! Hey you two, drag her away!!"

The Militia member gave orders to the other two members guarding the entrance. The man was Major Puluk Inar's right hand man, Captain Loudeen.

The three men then dragged the mother daughter pair to the dangerous East Wing.

Zack, Melissa and Chai stealthily followed them.

Their strategy was to avoid the Militia's sight by standing behind them, or specifically, their blind spots to avoid detection.

They would then slowly assessed the situation through observation. If the Militia harmed the female foreigners, they would quietly apprehend the DIKASARI members.

The walk to the East Wing took approximately three minutes.

Upon reaching the building, horrible sounds of roars and pleading screams were heard.

Zack was uneasy.

"What do you hear?" whispered Chai.

"Very unpleasant voices. I heard sounds of people being abused." (Zack)

The trio frowned. Between their mission and their sense of justice, it was a difficult decision.

The three men and their hostage stopped at a corridor. They then entered a room with dim lighting.

They then threw the ladies on the floor. They hit the room's wall and struggled to stabilize themselves.

"You guys know what to do! Remember, as long as they are alive until tonight's rally, you are free to do anything you want, understood!" (Captain Loudeen)

"UNDERSTOOD CAPTAIN, SIR!"

Captain Loudeen then spat hatefully to the mother-daughter pair. He left the room a few seconds afterwards.

The two Militia men then proceeded to lock the door.

'Click'

"Heard that ladies? A-NY-THING-WE-WANT! Hehehe.."

The men looked the ladies with a hint of lust. The teenage girl wore a blue tank top with a short denim, showcasing her flawless thigh.

As for the mother, she had a red short sleeved t-shirt which couldn't hide her round motherly chest. It was clear that the two white females were just an object of desire in the eyes of the men.

Without wasting any time, the men pounced on the frightened females.

"NOOOO!! PLEASEEEE!! NOOOOO!!!"

The mother stood in front of her daughter, doing everything she could to protect her daughter's dignity.

Suddenly, the two men froze. Their eyes turned white, dropped down and kneeled on the ground.

"Man these guys are lame."

A clear, crisp voice was heard at the back.

Thud!

The two men then fell down on their face, unconscious.

The white female foreigners trembled in fear, mustering their energy to look up.

The lights in the room were dim, but the figures of two people cam into their sight.

On the left, stood a youth with a beautiful facial feature with his mid-length hair tied to the back. He was kicking the Militia men with his lean, slender legs.

On the right, was a young lady, measuring about 172 centimeters. Her exquisite jade-like skin and flawless black hair flowed down like a waterfall.

They broke into the room by breaking the lock. Chai then swiftly chopped their necks, or more specifically executed the Carotid Punch. It's one of the techniques that came automatically with [Kame School Martial Arts].

Melissa and Chai was tasked to save the mother and daughter, and Zack stood outside as a guard.

"Are you two okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" (Melissa)

"Y-y-yes. We're doing okay, only a few bruises."

The mother spoke up to Melissa. Her name is Joy, an Australian citizen. She's travelling with her daughter, Annie, a sophomore in college to see her husband that is currently working in Malaysia.

The mother and daughter was still shivering in fear.

It took Melissa a few minutes to calm them down.

"Joy, Annie, this place isn't safe. We heard that this extremist group are going to rally everyone tonight and mentioned something about purging foreigners."

Joy and Annie's face turned pale. They were worried for their lives.

"C-can we follow both of you ladies to wherever you're going? You're not staying here, aren't you?" (Annie)

"We are moving soon, we have our own escape plan. We can't guarantee your safety, but we coul- wait, what did you say just now, Annie? Us ladies?" (Melissa)

Melissa noticed that the white teenager called them ladies.

"Whahahah! OMG!!"

Melissa then burst into laughter!

The mother and daughter was puzzled. Are their savior actually a couple of lunatics?

"Hey! You! Beautiful lady! Kekeke OMG I can't! I just can't, wahahahah!" (Melissa)

Chai turned his head to the females. He had a confused look.

"What's so funny?" (Chai)

"Wait, she's not a girl? But she was even taking off the men's uniforms.." (Annie)

The trio decided that they would disguise themselves as the Militia's men by wearing their uniforms.

Ignoring Melissa's laughter, he called Zack from inside.

"Zack! It's done! Come in and change!" (Chai)

With Zack's super hearing, he immediately picked it up and entered the room.

Zack was in charge of guarding the door, as his [Super Senses] could pick up any incoming presences.

Then, a model-like male with a strong, manly outlook appeared before the door.

Annie and Joy stared at this perfect male specimen. They scanned him up and down.

"Ms.Joy, Ms.Annie, you're safe now. We'll try to bring you guys to a safer area afterwards if the situation allows. But time is of concern, we have to make a swift move." (Zack)

(How did he our their name? We haven't even introduce ourselves yet.)

Annie and Joy looked at each other, dumbfounded. They decided not to ask further.

"O-okay. Thank you. I can't imagine if you three wasn't here to save us.." (Joy)

Zack then went a corner and started stripping.

Annie and Joy was startled. What are they trying to do?

(Gulp. Don't tell me…we escaped the lion's den just to end up into the crocodile's mouth?)

Annie started hugging her mother in fear. The previous experience was enough of a shock to her.

Chai noticed her cowering.

"Chill, dude. We're changing into their uniforms. That way we can guide your as*es into safety. Not all of us are into MILFs, you know?!"

Chai snickered at Annie's reaction.

Annie hearing Chai's sarcastic comments, she slowly mumbled.

"Big words coming from a sissy.." (Annie)

Annie was your typical vibrant, outgoing Australian teen beauty. She has lots of friends and also a lot of men hitting up on her. Her snide remarks always shot down sweet-talking suitors.

Chai happened to hear that and he flared!

"Look here, bubble butt blondie. I ain't no sissy! Sh*t! If we're not this super cool and awesome people, we won't even glance at your sorry ass! Cheh!"

Then he connected the words that Melissa happily laughed about.

"Mel! Hey! Was that why you suddenly called me a lady!? It was you, wasn't it, blondie?!"

Chai fumed with anger and spewed out angry slurs towards the ladies, all while only wearing the DIKASARI camo uniform pants, leaving his toned, slightly muscular body exposed.

Melissa giggled non-stop.

"Chai, hurry up! We're rushing for time!"

Zack reprimanded Chai as he has already finished changing into the Militia's uniform.

The ladies looked at the powerful figure of Zack in an uniform. He looks so dashingly handsome,

that they secretly yearn to be in his embrace.

"Ugh. Shit*y MILF girl. Pray that your boobs won't sag so fast that kids could use it as a skipping rope, heh!" (Chai)

Annie rolled her eyes. Up until now, she has never met such an unbearable guy.

(This pretty boy…his face is wasted on his ridiculous mouth of his. Yeesh! He must be one of those fu*kbois I've heard about!)

The unconscious Militia men was tied using the electrical cables and wires in the room, since they has no ropes to tie them up. They stuffed socks into the men's mouths to prevent them from screaming and attracting other people's attention.

"Ms.Annie, Ms.Joy, we will be heading to the South Gate area which would be quite dangerous. You can leave if you want to, and all I can tell you is to head to Putrajaya. They have established a secured base over there."

Annie and Joy looked at each other. They thought long and hard about it, and voiced out their decision.

"We'd like to follow you, sir. Please…if I'm a burden, please take my daughter. She's still young and-" (Joy)

"Ms.Joy, call me Zack. Alright, I can't guarantee your safety, but I could help you get to Putrajaya."

Joy was relieved. She was worried that they won't allow them to follow.

The room they previously were had the locks broken. To shut the door, they took an office table and blocked the door from the outside.

The floor they were at was the 2nd floor. Going down the stairs, they met with a few Militia members but they acted casually, waving their hands.

Melissa, Annie and Joy were pretending to be captives in which they had a makeshift handcuffs using wires around their wrists.

The group slowly went down the stairs to the first floor.

"Wait."

Zack issued an order. He could hear somber moans from a distance.

"Something's ahead. About 50 meters."

Zack took the lead and stealthily advance.

He arrived at a corridor. He focused his senses to the rooms around it, and heard the moans and cries he heard before.

(These muffles...people?)

There a total of 5 rooms. Zack then gave a signal to the team to stay and keep quiet.

He went to the first room.

He twisted the knob and found three people being handcuffed and clothes were stuffed inside their mouth.

The hostages inside noticed a man in a Militia uniform, they immediately backed away from him.

Zack noticed some bruises and bloodstains on their nose and lips. It seems that these men has been beaten badly.

Considering their situation, they can't afford to have too many people following them. It will just attract unnecessary attention.

He proceeded to check the other rooms, and they were more victims inside. Each of them looked at Zack who was disguised as a DIKASARI member with wrath and disdain.

Zack went back to the group's location nearby the stairs.

"There're roughly thirty hostages in this floor. For now, we won't be releasing them to avoid suspicion from the Militia members."

"What should we do now?" (Melissa)

"We continue exploring. Our goal is to find the transporter helicopter at the compound between NorthEast Gate and South Gate. I saw the Municipal Building's map, this East Wing is located in the middle of it. We should see the helicopter anytime soon."

They nodded.

The group continued towards the stairs at the end of the first floor's corridor. The stair leads to the ground floor.

Coming to the ground floor, it was the lobby or the reception area. It was empty, devoid of people.

"Zack, I heard those bastard's voices." (Chai)

"Yup, looks like this is it. Stay out, I'll scout ahead."

Zack carefully descended the stairs towards the lobby.

At the end of the stairs, he saw four men near the East Wing's entrance. They were wearing combat uniforms, and the emblem on the uniforms were very familiar.

The emblem gave Zack a surprise, but the even bigger surprise was what's outside the sealed entrance door.

Zack rushed back upstairs without a sound.

"How was it?" (Melissa)

"Good news and bad news. Which ones you wanna hear first?" (Zack)

"Good news, bro!" (Chai)

"What a bimbo…who in the world choose to hear good news first and then depress themselves by hearing the sad one afterwards.." (Annie)

Chai glanced coldly at Annie.

"Hey, mature-faced blondie! You got something against me?!" (Chai)

Annie looked away and pretends she didn't say anything.

"Wow…Chai, looks like you've met your match! Hehe."

Melissa nudged Chai with a smirk on her face.

"Settle down. I'll lay down the bad news first. The ground floor entrance outside is swamped with zombies. Hundreds of them."

The group made a complicated face.

"The good news is, I found the transporter helicopter. It's parked a few meters outside the entrance of the East Wing. And Chai, I found the soldiers from your family."

"Alright, cool! I'll ask them to cover for us and-"

"Let me finish. They aren't exactly 'soldiers' anymore."

The group members waited in anticipation.

Zack heaved a heavy sigh.

"They've already turned into zombies, Chai."
