1 The begining of the end

In the year of 2018, a young man, barley that walked down a desolate street. There were no lights on, and the winter had just begun, so it was cold and you could see small piles of snow everywhere. Suddenly three bright flashes of light blinded the man. And just as sudden as the flashes was, they dissapered. when he opend his eyes trying to get acustumed to the darkness again, he saw a loading screen in front of him. He just shaked his head, thinking that it was something he was imagining. he walked a bit further and took out a key when he came close to a small appartment complex and unlocked the main entrance. The appartment he rented was a small and dark place with a bathroom and a livingroom. He was tired after a long day at work, and just slept at the mattres wich served as his bed. When he woke up he saw a green screen hovering in front of his eyes. He shaked his head thinking he must have been drinking a bit to much at the pub last night.

He closed his eyes, counted to ten and when he opend his eyes it was still there. He stared at it, and suddenly screamed with a rough voice: "What the hell is this, another typical system history?". Then he heard a mechanical voice say: [Good morning host, I am one of many systems sent through the multiverse to help organisms we deem worthy of a survival, and you are one of such beings. Now, if you could wait with your questions until i am done with explaining, that would be nice]. The man just stared blankly in front of him and said with a hesetating voice: "Sure".

The System: [Good, then i shall begin the explanation, but before that, could i have your name?]

The man: "My name is Josh Foxbell"

The System: [Alright Josh, you should probably sit down, since theese news will have a tremendus influence on life as you know it.] After Josh sat down at his bed the System continued: [in 364 days, almost all life will become zombies and mutants.] Josh was glad that he sat, for he lost all power in his legs. The system continued: [Whithin thoose 364 days, some people will dissapear, animals will act unnaturally, and prices will rise on consumer wares. To make sure that the Host (you) survives, i am installed with different functions wich will benefitt you. Now you can ask your questions.] Josh considered some things and asked: "Are there several systems in this universe, what should i do from now and what are your functions?"

The system: [Yes, there is three other systems in this universe, so four totally. You should find a place you like wich is easily defendebale and my functions is many, so you should focus more on the tasks i have told you, wich will means you have to find a safe house, gather supplies, entertainment and necesary items for urban survival. I can upgrade miscelanneus things, customize them, hide your presence for a certain amount of time and upgrade different stuff. Thoose are the easiset to remember. So Josh, how much money do you have available?]

Josh: "Why do i need money?" The System: [I can do very litlle without the things in front of me, i cant upgrade a generator without one in front of me.] Josh: "Makes sense, i have about 100k dollars in my name, and if i sell what little i have, i might earn 200 more. So what are your recomendations?"

The system: [ Buy an old abandoned factory and supplies as i list, and things you believe might be usefull]
