11 No pain, No gain

The giant zombie charged into the wall, and cracks appeared at the wall, and the platform that Josh stood on trembled. Josh looked at the wall where the platform was fastened and saw that the cracks were very close to the bolts. Josh decided to go upstairs and barricade himself there, but before he could do that, he saw a few zombies walking down the stairs. Josh pointed the revolver at them and pulled the trigger, but he couldn't do much arm, and was lucky that he hit them at all. The only thing he hit was one zombie`s arm, knee and torso, which only slowed it down. Josh threw away the revolver and pulled out his bat to strike the first zombie, and he did hit its head, but it wasn't hard enough, and while he was busy with one, the big zombie had managed to squeeze it self through the window and kicked against Josh. Josh crashed into the railings and spat some blood.

Josh`s arm stung like hell, and before he could do anything the zombies swarmed him and tore of his flesh and limbs, piece for piece. Josh screamed in agony as long as he could, until he died. And it all went black, and after a long while he woke up and saw James Moriarty just starring at him at a distance so close that they could kiss, and suddenly James opened his mouth and said with a bored voice: {Just 30 minutes kid, that is quite bad. Even if you don't know what you should do, you should at least know your mistakes, and I do hope you know them, that would make my job here so much easier. Now, what do you think are your mistakes}? Josh thought about his actions for a short while before saying in a questionable voice: "I used to much time, wasn't prepared and I don't know how to act in combat"?

James looked at him and said with a flat voice and said: {Yes, and you barley know any basics of what you need to do, whether it is looting, combat or urban. You should have scouted and prepared several escape ways, booby trapped the door and should have taken down the big zombie in the apartment, since it would be easier to kill it in the limited space with fewer things to focus on. But otherwise you did good, now it is time for me to start teaching you how to scout, lockpick, make traps, deconstruct traps, loot, fight and using your senses to the maximum}. The space around them changed to the urban area again, but now it was silent all around them, and Josh saw a bunch of books around him. He looked at James and asked: "What are these"? James just looked at him and said: {this is skillbooks, they will tech you the basics, so you would know something, and I shall polish your knowledge in those aspects.

Because the books only give you the dots, you will have to draw the lines of your I yourself}. He then took one of the books and slapped Josh with it. The book disappeared, and Josh suddenly knew how to move stealthy and silent in woods and other environments. James took another book, and Josh was smacked so many times that his cheeks swelled to the size of a pighead, but he did learn a lot of the basics. And James did do as he said they would. There was a lot of time Josh "died" but he learned of his mistakes and after a few months in the special learning space, and he could move almost unhindered in any kind of environment after all the training he did, and even James was shocked at the change in Josh, Josh went from being a bleak, lazy teenager to a buff, observative guy who had a dangerous shine in his eyes. James looked at him and said: {It has been four months in your original space, and I am now not longer your teacher. Now you will learn engineering, mechanics, modding, coding, hacking, professional marksmanship and driving of another teacher. Good luck kiddo.} and then he vanished into empty air.
