Chapter 4 Dragon Without Legs

Next morning, all villager came out to give moral support for all hunter teams. This month, all hunter team were mobilized due winter approaching.

The hunter teams could only look forward. They didn't dare to turn their head. They afraid, if they saw their beloved or their children, they would lost their bravery.

Jo entered Erlina group. They had already known each other for the longest time. The leader indeed Erlina and the member were himself, Sa, Zia, Fabian, and Juri. As for Julia, Jo hid her into his soul realm. He didn't want to rely on her all the time.

On the way, Jo didn't saw any big dragon.

(Let's just call the dinosaur as dragon.)

Thankfully, he could find banana and coconuts. Of course, he felt something wrong with finding banana and coconut here as this land had four seasons. But nothing wrong with another world. He just picked up all fruit he familiar with and occasionally shared his fruits to the member.

After 3 days searching, Jo finally got a dragon trace. He found a warm excrement! Maybe it was disgusting for millennial generations, but for hunter, this excrement was a good start.

"A dragon is not far from here. Let's scatter and if any of you find it, whistle 3 times." Jo immediately gave his command while his finger pointing at the warm pops, and forgot that the team leader was Erlina.

"I'm the team leader!" Erlina said with menacing expression.

Jo dumbfounded and then lifted up his arms. Then he made please gesture.

Erlina nodded and said, "Do as Jo said! Now!"

They scattered to different directions and searched the dragon whereabouts. Jo just shook his head and start searching.

Not long after, Jo heard someone whistle 3 times from north. Like monkey, Jo immediately leaped from on tree to another. On other side, all hunters immediately ran toward the whistle source.

Jo arrived beside Zia, a cute female member. Zia didn't said anything and immediately pointed her finger to the dragon. Jo looked at the dragon and saw very huge snake. Right, a snake! Maybe the snake in front of him was the ancestor of Boa, Anaconda, or Python. Not long after, the rest team members and leader arrived beside Zia and him.

Jo looked at Erlina and saw she knitted her eyes. Then he asked, "You seem in deep trouble. Care to share?"

Erlina looked at Jo and ask, "Are you know that this dragon can wipe our team out just with a tail swing?"

"Ah... So you do not know how to hunt it, right?" Jo said like getting enlightenment.

Erlina frowned but nodded her head.

"Actually I know how to kill it." Jo said with easy-going voice.

"Huh?! Tell me quickly!" Erlina grabbed Jo's shoulders and shook it.

"Calm down! Every snake has one weakness. Their neck, or the heart place. Anyone can throw the spears accurately?" Jo explained and then asked.

Juri lifted his hand. Jo nodded and told him the weakness point.

"When Juri pierce the snake weakness accurately, all of you just need to hide and wait the snake death. If Juri fail, all of you must run as fast as possible." Jo gave short briefing for safety measure.

All of them nodded and began to hide behind the trees. Only Juri and Jo were exposed to the snake. Juri inhaled mouthful of air to dismiss his nervousness. His gaze became sharp and then he launched his attack. The spear flew straight to the snake heart place and successfully pierced it.

Jo, who had feelings for the failure, could not help to be surprised. He looked at Juri and murmured, "How strong he is?"

Juri felt ecstacy. He wanted to shout, but Jo appeared behind him. Jo covered his mouth and gave the rest of member a gesture to retreat.

Just all of the member jumped out and stay away from the snake, the snake had already trashed the nearby boulders and trees. They stunned by the thrashing progress. The snake still trashing, the snake vitality really strong.

Suddenly the snake tail smashed nearby boulder and the shrapnel flew on every direction in super fast speed.

"Watch out!" Jo shouted.

Thanks for that, only Sa got minor scratches from the shrapnel.

After they help Sa took care his wound, they realized that actually the problem was not the hunting process. The big problem was the carrying process. The snake size was almost three times bigger than T-Rex. And the snake body was too long. It was great haul, yet full of danger.

Jo looked at the snake corpse in dilemma. That corpse would surely lessen his new village food shortage. But, to move it, Jo obviously needed to rely on his soul realm. Actually he had an idea to cover snake corpse with herbal smell. To camouflage the blood smell. But it was not realistic. The corpse was too big!

When he looked at the other team members who busy preparing the rope to pull the corpse back to village, he couldn't have to sigh bitterly.

He stopped them and said, "Let me do it."

Other members stared at him strangely. But they didn't interfere with Jo's method. Jo nodded at them and walked toward the corpse.

-Julia, I will move the snake corpse inside. Bear with it for awhile. -

"As you wish, Master." Julia replied.

Then Jo touched the snake corpse and instantly the snake corpse vanished. The team member eyes popped up. They dumbfounded by the magic Jo cast.

"Bro! What magic you cast?! Are you a shaman?" Juri asked.

Another member didn't ask. But they stared at Jo intensively. Jo wanted to avoid it, but he decided to say the half truth.

"It was my gift. But can only be used for corpse, slave, and death items. The restriction is, can only be used once a week." Jo said while lifted his hands up.

Erline gaze became sharper after hearing the explanation. She could instantly deducted that the ferocious dragon corpse two days ago was his deed. Erlina walked into Jo's side and said, "You hide your secret well."

Her voice was very cold. Jo felt that his spin turned cold. He smiled at her weakly.

"Please be merciful to me, team leader..."
