Chapter 2 Eris Maplewood And Her Worries

"I heard you have a deal with me. Care to say?" Eris said.

The young man in front of her was very interesting. From his clothes, she could deduct that is not from leather material. Also, he smelled like ferocious dragon. From blood on his clothes, Eris felt amazed. That blood was proof of his hunting skill. Very rare hunter from her village could hunt ferocious dragon alone.

"Actually, I just want a place for life. In exchange of your permission to let me live in your village, I will join the hunting team." Jo said straightforwardly.

"Interesting. I agree! Erlina, call all hunters to help him build his house. After that, He will join the hunting team." Eris obviously very happy with Jo bargain. She didn't lose anything, but gain powerful hunter. Why not?

After some small talk, Eris dismissed them.

Back to her work, she thought all report from her villager. The number of foods decreased. The long neck dragon almost all migrated to another area to avoid winter season.

"What should I do?" Eris tapped the table with her slender finger.

"Maybe I should ask that new person."

Eris walked out and asked someone to guide her to the construction site. From a far, Eris saw her hunting team and Jo working together. But something extraordinary spotted. A human with a pair of black wing magically help them build the house. With Jo instructions, the simple house was complete.

Eris walked toward them and greeted the black winged beauty.

"Hallo, Are you Jo's friend?"

"No. My name is Julia, his slave." Julia answered truthfully.

Eris confused by slave term. -What is slave mean?-

She shook her head and brush his thoughts. Now she had completed her deal part. She would get Jo into her village hunting team.

"By the way, our scouting team informed me that majority of dragon will leave this area to avoid winter. Our food will running out soon..."

Bugh!

A pile of huge meat landed in front of her magically. She stunned and searched the one threw the corpse. But not avail. The hunters and herself immediately examined the corpse and just few part missing. Those parts were the most delicious parts. But what they needed the most was food. It was not a time to picky.

Without delay Eris told her hunting team to dissect the corpse. With this corpse, her village could survive for one month.

She didn't realize that she send the pray to Jo.

Jo said that everyone who helped him build his house were invited to attend his banquet. In his native village, beside yo thank for God's grace, banquet also could be an opportunity to connect between neighbors. Of course everyone didn't believe him, but they didn't ask and just nodded.

"Julia, Let's go and search good stone. I will create a primitive stove."

Jo went out with Julia. Beside looking for the stones, Jo also looking for spice. He just hope that honey and chili were available on the wilderness.

After several hours, Jo found a beehive. With his soul realm, he could shift the hive and expel the bees inside. To make his and Julia body undetected, Jo told Julia to cast spell on them. That spell would hide their smells and covered with soil smell.

As for the stone, Jo got flat stone. Then they started to search for the chili, but not avail. He only got banana and banana leaves.

Back to his house, he immediately built a primitive stove. Because this era was stone era, the tools also used stones. The flat stone was substitute for frying pan.

Everything was done. He only needed to wait for the morning to come.

Inside his new house, he lied down and hugged Julia on the bed. He told her to dismiss her wings when she slept with him.

"Master, I have a question. Can I ask?" Julia asked while enjoying Jo embrace.

"Sure."

"I heard that Master actually didn't like more than one wife. It's true?" Julia asked.

"It's true. Having two wives will only bring problems." Jo said without second thought.

"What problems?" Julia asked.

"I have a story, maybe my story can answer your questions. I was born in a rich family. After I was born, my father accidentally, maybe not accidental, he slept with his secretary. He forgot to wear safety cover on his little snake. Not long after the secretary said that she was pregnant."

Jo paused for a while and then continued.

"Why?" Julia asked.

"No, why Master didn't take the share?" Julia asked in surprised tone.

"Oh, it's because wealth could make someone greedy. My second mother is the best example. Just three years, her and her son portion had already vapored. They began to eying my mother share. And that successfully created another conflict." Jo answered and smiled.

Julia just nodded and cuddled in his embrace. He actually wanted to bring Aisyah here. But the environment was very harsh for her to survive. No internet and Instagram, no make up, and life as barbarians were very tough. Jo, if not because forced by bullshit amulet, also chose to do his job properly.

Jo touched Julia breast and messaged it.

"You are very soft, Julia." Jo whispered.

"I'm yours, Master." She said quietly. Her neck somehow became red.
