23 Early graduates!

I averted my eyes from his stature, and turned back in my seat. "Oh dear lord, " I mumbled slowly to myself.

"Man, he is coming this Way!" Savv shrieked once more.

"Hey," his overjoyed voice sent Savannah under a spell of mesmerization, she was continuously starting at him with a wide open mouth.

I closed her mouth with my hand and placed a blank expression on my face.

"Umm, hi?" I asked him.

"Well you ran away when I called you. So I thought you must be here." He declared proudly. I nodded my head slowly. But stopped midway when I registered his words in my mind.

"Hey! I did not run away, okay?" I shouted at him. He smirked at me and came to sit next to me. Savannah was still looking at him. Jason must have noticed it because he turned towards her and said, "hello beautiful,"

I rolled my eyes at his flirtatious attempt. But well it worked on her as she again started to gush at him.

"Earth to Savv," I said moving my hand in front of her eyes.

She blinked her eyes tremendously, and laughed embarrassed "oh yeah,"

Jason shook his head and turned to me again, "So why did you cut my call if you were not running?" He asked smirking.

"Umm, I," I started to think of a reason as he kept eyeing me so I uttered the first thing that came to my mind. "I had to meet Savannah here," I said motioning towards her at which she opened her mouth to argue, but I cut her by saying "And I did not have my breakfast so I rushed here as soon as I could to grab my something to eat, " I completed quickly.

"Is that so?" He again inquired. "Yeah, of course." I said nodding my head rapidly.

Savannah cleared her throat to inform us of her presence, "Oh yeah Savannah, he is Jason." I said motioning to him.

Savannah moved towards me and whispered slowly, "he is the reason you were ditching me lately?" My cheeks started to redden at this.

But I denied hurriedly, "No!"

Savv gave me a knowing smirk and turned towards Jason. "So Jason, it is?" He nodded confirming her questions.

"Okay, so how do you know her, as long as I recall she didn't befriend anyone?" She inquired in a suspicious.

"Oh you know, no one can resist my charms," he started proudly, but I scoffed at his statement so he looked at me, but continued his story either way.

"Okay let me rephrase, she was my project partner and then I started talking to her and rest is history." He said shortly.

"Umm, so you are her friend or... " she trailed off.

"Friend for now," he said winking at me. I scowled at his words but did not say anything.

They were both busy in their conversations, so I looked at my watch to find that it was about time for me class.

"Guys, I gotta go I have a class starting soon." I said collecting my bag and cell phone in my hand.

"Alright," he said standing up. I looked at him confused at his antics. Feeling my eyes trained on him, he answered my question "well, I was on break from practice. So let's go together," he said walking towards the exit. I looked at him wide eyed. But started to walk to the exit with him when I heard Savv's soft voice behind me.

"Have a good time bae,"

I rolled my eyes at her and went out.

I walked in the school gates with Jason.

"I'll see you soon," he said walking to the ground for his practice. I nodded my head at his words and made my way towards the locker.

I was sitting in Mr. Wilson's class. He was currently trying to explain the nature of Neurotransmitters in our PNS. I was trying to scramble all the notes as fast as I could. Because he was currently speaking with a high, no scratch that, with a high pace like a bullet train. When he finally stopped talking I took a breath of relief.

"So class I hope you guys understood the concepts, I wanna take a test on upcoming Friday." He said eagerly.

And in moments whole sleeping class woke up at the name of test and started to whine at his brutal attitude. 'Typical,' I thought to myself.

Bell rang, signaling that lecture was over so was their whining so I made my way out of class.

I was walking to my next class, when I heard the announcement in the speakers of hall.

"Miss Alicia Walters, please head to the Principle's office now."

I tried to think of anything that I did this week.

'I did not fight with Marie,'

' I had no part in any food fights,'

I continued making a list in my mind as I made my way towards the office. I took a long breath to calm my nerves, and knocked at the door.

"Come in," a voice muttered from inside. I opened the door. And cleared my throat.

"Oh, Miss. Walters, you are here." Mr. Miller said in a joyful voice.

His joyful voice ensured me that I didn't do anything wrong this time.

"Yes, sir", I replied in a collective voice.

"Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with your behavior this time, or with your grades." He said now sitting on his desk.

"Okay, so sir what is it that you called me for?" I inquired politely.

"Umm, okay so I received a letter from Harvard today in the morning." He stopped himself.

'Oh my god,' I gushed to myself. 'But is it what I'm thinking?' I thought.

"So I called you here to tell you," he said moving to take out an envelope from his desk's drawer.

'Dear Alicia Walter,

We are glad to inform you that, we are starting a special course this year for the early graduates from all over the America. We have read your reports and results you have submitted for the admissions. And we are glad to invite you for the special program we are organizing for the doctorate here.

We hope to see you soon here for the start of badge 2021.

I stood there frozen on my spot. Not knowing what to do, or how to respond. It was something beyond expectations and miraculous.

"Miss. Walters, I feel proud to say that you made it in Harvard and that as well in the most extraordinary batch." He said with proud beaming in his eyes. It somehow brought me back from my ride of thoughts.

"Umm, Is that for real sir?" That was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

Mr. Mills, shook his head at me and said, "of course!"

"But sir, I have not given my exams yet. I have not graduated yet." I started but he intercepted me by saying.

"Well, the grades you have right now are quite great actually, so there is nothing that can stop you from graduating in my view. So as per request from the University we are graduating you before time, if you would like that, that is." He finished.

Unable to respond I nodded my head, feeling my hesitance he responded himself.

"I'll give you few days to tell me what you wanna do, then we will arrange other stuff as well." I again nodded at him.

"Thank you sir, " I said and took the envelope he offered me. I walked out of the room, and re-read the letter.

"Oh my god!" I yelled.

I was so excited and happy to show that to my mother. She was the one who was pestering me to enter there, and now I had it in my hand. "Oh My God!" I could not stop myself from doing a happy dance. I heard the bell indicating end of lecture, and perhaps the end of day for me.

Hurriedly I started to make my way to the exit of school.

"Here I come mom!" I excitedly whispered yelled to myself.
