13 The Test

Clay left the group at the cafe a bit early as he wanted to find where he needed to go, not understanding the layout of this building. Finally arriving at the room Clay found a seat towards the front.

"Welcome! in front of you lies the basic quiz that must be passed to be considered for entry." A women standing at the front announced. "You may begin."

Opening the book Clay looked inside to see that it was just basic subjects that on earth he could learn in the ninth grade. 'What is 25 squared?' Clay thought. 'Oh god...'

2 hours passed as answered he the 100 question test, having been in his last year of college he found these questions were quite simple covering much less advanced topics then what people were taught on earth. Walking to the front he handed her the test, looking around the room Clay noticed he was the only one to have finished. 'Huh guess I was quick?'. Walking back to the park he finished looking at the last notification.

'Oh that's a long way off.' Clay thought to himself, Sitting there he waited. Eventually dozing off Clay was woken up by a shaking on the arm.

"Hey, Clay get up." It was John, the blonde haired tree shook him awake.

"Ya what's up?" Clay asked in a sleep heavy voice.

"Dude it's getting late, everyone left after we couldn't find you." He replied. "Wanna head to my place. Everyone else is there already, my parents threw a party to celebrate my acceptance."

"Results are out?" Clay asked.

"Yup and we all got in!" He cheered. "I mean unless there's another Clay? Ah I'm kiddin. Let's get going." Waving him over they set out.

After a short 20 minute walk they finally reached a large music filled mansion. Two guards stood in front of the doors, the one on the right spoke first.

"Welcome home master."

"Thanks guys." He responded with a smile. Pushing open the door they were greeted by music and the sounds of laughing. "Were going to need to get you freshened up, head upstairs and I think we can find something for you." John said smiling at some of the girls near the door.

Clay went upstairs, opening doors till he found a bathroom. Once inside he peeled off his old cloths and turned the the water on. 'They have plumbing huh?' Clay thought.

Showering off and using the unique smelling soap, Clay wrapped a towel around his waist and looked in the mirror. He changed his appearance growing to 6'1 and sharping his jaw line a bit he went from a seven to a solid nine. 'Nice.'

Going into the hall he saw John standing there with a ball of cloths in his hand. "Put these on." He said tossing the cloths to Clay. A minute later Clay stood there in the hall, a perfect fitting all black suit on. "Looking sharp Clay." John said standing there in a all white suit.

"Opposites huh?" Clay said with a smile.

"Yup. Come on the others are waiting." He said with a wave.

Walking down the stairs Clay looked around the hall, seeing the familiar silver hair of Ella he tapped on johns shoulder. "Over there." He said pointing to where he saw her.

As they walked through the room John stopped to greet every second person, Clay rolled his eyes at him wanting to get going.

"Hey John, Clay over here!" Eric called out, waving them over to where the others sat in the booth. Aurora wore a dark red dress that accented her petite figure while her sister wore a light orange, Eric's suit was a light grey that looked quite sharp on him while cooper sat at the edge of the table in a copper coloured suit that did not look good on anyone. Finally Ella sat there in a silver dress that matched her hair, a neck line that plunged so low Clay felt a blush coming on.

"How's everyone enjoying the party?" Asked John.

"Good."

"Great."

"I need more drinks." The last comment coming from an already slightly intoxicated Eric.

"You've had enough." Replied Ella looking around the room. "We have school in two days dumbass."

"I know but like whatever." Eric said slightly slurring his speech.

A waiter came around with more drinks for them, colourful cocktails, a variety of unique wines and an assortment of many flavourful drinks accompanied them. The night ticked on, a few hours in Clay started dancing, talking to anyone willing to listen, eventually the world blurring. At some point Clay blacked out, only to wake at a undesirable time with a splitting headache.

"Fuck this hurts." Clay moaned. Looking around the room he noticed he somehow made it to a bedroom and that someone or multiple someone's were passed out in the same room.

"What did I do last night?" He asked with a sigh.

"Nothing.." replied a feminine voice from beside him. Letting out a little yelp he found Ella lying beside him.

"Did we-"

"No! You stumbled in here drunk and were out in seconds. I came a few hours later thinking the bed was empty, and woke up to find you here." She explained.

"Oooooh.." Clay sighed, "god my head hurts."

A very confused Eric woke up from the floor. "Where am I? What happened?" He asked confused.

"Your in a dream." Replied a still very sleepy Aurora.

"Did we all some how pass out in here?" Asked Clay. A grunt from across the room confirmed that John was still asleep. "How?"

"I think this is Johns room and somehow we all managed to remember come here when done partying." Replied Ella.

"I don't know about you guys but like I don't want to get up for a few more hours." Grumbled Eric from the floor. A murmur of agreement came from everyone else. "Ight few more hours then." Replied Clay dozing off again.
