13 Something is Wrong (Part 1)

The purple snow outside was falling down the air so gently. It was mesmerizing and beautiful that almost no one can look away. This included me.

But I wasn't looking because I liked it.

'I think I know about this. No. I do know about this but I don't want to admit it.'

The bad feeling in the coffee shop seemed to be more of a sixth sense than a coincidence because we sat right under the air conditioner at that time.

'I hope I'm wrong...'

It's going to be bothersome if I'm right. In fact, I might lose some money.

While I was thinking of this, I heard a noise that snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at where it came from and frowned.

"What was that you fucker?!"

BLAM!

"Say it again! You shits!"

BLAG!

"Who's the psycho? Who called me that?"

The unfiltered words kept coming one after another. Of course, it was Polly. She seemed extremely healthy while thrashing some chairs around. Too healthy for someone with supposed seasickness and fear of fish.

Jashan noticed as well so he sighed.

"It wasn't like that at first, Hyung. That idiot was weaker than a normal idiot and then she got angry and became like that."

"...Just like a berserk monster?"

Our faces became blank while watching a part of the ship becoming a mess. Then I noticed something odd.

'That's weird. I thought she was here?'

I can't see her.

I looked down on Jashan who was now glaring at the much berserk Polly. He must've noticed my gaze so he stopped glaring and looked up.

"Hyung?"

"Where's Ilya?"

"Ah, she left for work. The idiot plant said some idiot things like goodbye and she's going to be gone for a bit and then she left."

Without finishing the party? Wow. Even I'm not that workaholic.

Well, it is Ilya so I suppose that's the type of thing she does.

I looked back outside and saw the snow becoming less clear. It was fading and somehow it didn't sit well with me at all.

"Jashan, go get Polly."

"What? Why would I go near that idiot?"

I was about to snap at him but saw him looking so disgusted at Polly. I've read about such rebellious actions from books before. It happens a lot in puberty.

Then remembered that even if Jashan is a big-ass OP character, he was still a child. I did give up on trying to be polite but I'm not bad.

'Even if he has a really insulting look right now that I want to correct...'

"This child... haaaaa."

"H-Hyung? What did I do?"

"Nothing."

His jaw hung open and his eyes looked like he was going to panic but he didn't say anything. He just sagged his shoulders and then followed me as we walked towards Polly.

"Balckie-bastard? Sharp-eyes? Why are you here? Are you going to help me?"

She... sounds remarkably excited while beating people up. My eyes automatically went down to her bloody fist.

I gulped.

'Scary kid. She reminds me of Jashan who smacked her head earlier.'

Will I be safe here? With these two? They're kids but they're really strong? If I get smacked or punched, won't I lose my head or have a hole in my body? Should I leave them?

I became frustrated by my own thoughts.

"Too many questions."

"Hyung's right, you're a talkative idiot."

"No, that's not what I-"

"I get it, okay? Sheesh. And don't even try to cover it up, sharp-eyes."

I closed my mouth after that. I don't usually get tired but right now, even opening my mouth feels really tiresome.

'Those eyes aren't helping me.'

The people around me were looking at me with curiosity and greed and I did not like those looks. Not a bit.

'Can I gouge their eyes out?'

But before I could think of how to do it, the door opened.
