9 Purple Snow (Part 3)

"What?"

The two of them looked at each other and then shook their heads in unison. It was weird to see them look like they were agreeing on the same thing.

"Sharp-eyes, you..."

"Hyung, I... will respect your taste. Idiot, this is puberty. It's natural."

"What would know about puberty? We're older than you."

I ignored their weird conversation and walked outside. Jashan followed me with an expectant look on his face.

"Do you want to go to that coffee shop?" I asked without a smile on my face. I gave up on trying to be polite.

Jashan flinched and then looked away. "It's fine, Hyung. I just don't want to spend time with that loud idiot."

'Oh geez, is this the famous sibling fights I heard about?'

I suppressed a grin.

Jashan looked at me when he saw where I was walking at. It was the coffee shop he wanted to go to a while ago.

"Hyung?"

"After this, you'll have to go with me to the book store. Then I'll consider it even."

"S-Sure!" He stuttered. He had a funny look in his eyes as if he wanted to suppress a happy expression. "I'm not an idiot who doesn't know how to pay back."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

'Children need to learn to be more honest.'

I shook my head and pushed the door of the cafe open. The aroma of coffee beans in the air gave a really relaxing vibe. I understand why Jashan wants to be here.

'Speaking of the devil...'

Jashan's eyes got glued to the menu. His eyes went back and forth as if he couldn't decide what he wanted. At this moment, he actually acts a lot like his age.

It was only after fifteen minutes that he finally settles on an order.

"I want the espresso! Hyung, what do you want?"

He pushed the menu in my face.

"Black coffee. I'm the one who's going to order, right?"

"Sorry Hyung, they won't let underage order."

"It's fine. Go sit somewhere."

He nodded and took my shopping bags before sitting at a free table for two. I looked at him with a pitiful expression when he was struggling to walk with the bags.

'Poor kid.'

I made sure he arrived there safely, of course, I'm not worried, I'm just making sure my bags were fine. When I saw that he started playing on his phone, I finally lined up.

'Espresso. Black coffee. Espresso. Black coffee.'

I kept repeating the order in my head while surfing on the internet. I found some articles and grinned. It was about the emergence of three companies.

Of course, Crescent Moon Company is one of those three.

The first events from the book I know of are finally starting. Soon, Raze and the other three supporting characters will be known in public as well.

'Well, not that it matters much. All I need to focus on is how to avoid them.'

BUMP!

Suddenly someone bumped to me. However, I had no time to see who it was because my phone fell.

BLAM!

"Oh, sorry! I'm in a hurry!"

"No, it's fine."

I stood up with my phone in hand but I didn't see the one who bumped to me. I looked towards the door but all I could see was a violet-shade hair that disappeared in a hurry.

'Hmm? What is this?'

I raised my hand to touch the back of my neck. It felt cold for some reason.

"Excuse me, Sir. Your order?"

The voice of the employee behind the counter made me snap out of my thoughts. I quickly ordered then walked to the table where Jashan was waiting for me.

His face showed confusion when he saw me.

"Hyung? What's wrong?"

"It's nothing."

I shook my head and placed the food on the wooden table. We ate and talked and it happened for a while but the back of my neck still felt cold.
