17 How Sparks Survive In Winter (Part 1)

A main character in a novel once said, "I don't know how but I can do it. It's like moving your hand but not knowing how to say it in words."

Now, I don't know if I got the words right but it basically means you know it but you don't understand why you do nor can you explain it clearly to others as well.

'It's like that for me.'

Transmigration? No. My new life is telling me that I'm not a transmigrator. I don't know the reason but I unmistakably died that day which makes me a reincarnator.

'That's also not important right now.'

The important thing here is that someone who is supposed to be a crazy bitch is saying things someone like 'me' should say.

And by me, I mean someone who was originally not from this world.

"Excuse me?"

The violet shade of her hair looked so bright and fierce in the darkness. She looked like a beautiful but annoying torch in a cave.

This now suspicious crazy bitch was looking at me as if 'I' was the complicated math problem.

'Just why is she looking at me like that? I'm supposed to be the one looking at her like two heads emerged from her shoulders.'

But I'm pretty sure my current face is blank and emotionless. My facial muscles don't follow me because of the nervousness that's not leaving my system any time soon.

Murasaki Yuki spoke again. "You. You're like me, aren't you?"

'She doesn't look like she's lying.'

It's also not understandable that someone like her would come to me, a completely random person, and joke about something like this. I mean, sure it does sound bullshit to other people but such a topic would be extremely sensitive to me.

She said, 'You're like me.' Is she's not from here? What's going on? I knew it was weird earlier but this... well, it would explain why huge changes were happening without my interference.

'Just as I thought, it wasn't me. Someone else would be doing it.'

If it was someone who read SMOAH like me and had their own goals, I guess huge changes would happen with it too.

'It had to be her body, huh?'

"Looks like we need to talk," I told her.

She nodded. "But something needs to be done before that."

We both looked around us with our glowing eyes. The figure covered in a cloak walked towards me with the woman I can no longer address as a crazy bitch.

"What should I call you?" I asked.

She answered with an imposing vibe surrounding her, "I have thrown away my former name. Call Me Yuki, though I may not be the same Murasaki Yuki you know."

"I can tell that."

She chuckled. My eyes were glued to the gorgeous smile on her lips.

'Whoah! I'm going to go blind.'

She had a little smile on her lips that made her violet-shade hair glimmer even more. It was said that this Yuki was only second to the heroine in beauty.

'But really, how lethal can these main characters get? Just looking at her felt dangerous. My heart's thumping so fast that I feel like fainting.'

She spoke in the silence.

"How did you know about SMOAH?"

"It's a book I always read," I responded shortly.

That should be enough. There's no need to elaborate on the uncool part of my bullied days. I didn't need her pity.

Yuki nodded. "I see. For me, it was a game. I played this game and got sucked in it in the middle."

My eyebrows shot up.

'Hmm?'

Just as I was slowly adjusting to this information bomb, another one was dropped and I'm left all confused again.

Things were about to get complicated.

This was just the beginning. Later tonight, in the next days, weeks, months, years... many other bombs will explode at my face one after another.

This was the first sign I got from the Plot of the story.

I could almost hear it whispering something nightmarish at me.

'I am not stopping any time soon.'
