18 Gods Among Us (Part 5)

The titans descending the mountain were astonished by the sight before them. Their brother lay on the ground, his killer standing in front of them. The titans were concerned about this figure who appeared to be a god. They knew that for someone to bring Oceanos to such a state, they must be as strong as or even stronger than Cronos, as Oceanos was virtually invincible in the sea.

They could be worried, but retreating was not an option here. It was either the gods or them; neither could live while the other was alive. Only one would remain in the end. So the titans drew their weapons, preparing to start the fight.

Inmo had already realized what was happening as he followed Oceanos. It seemed that the battle between the titans and gods was affecting humanity. Therefore, he decided to follow Oceanos to his house to end this once and for all. Now that he was standing in front of so many mythical figures, he thought to himself, "The era of the titans ends here and now!" Then he launched himself into the sky to initiate the fight.

Days and nights passed, storms and earthquakes ravaged Mount Otris. The sounds of punches echoed like thunder on the battlefield. The once great dwelling of the titans was now completely destroyed. What was once a towering mountain guarding the titan's abode had become a leveled terrain with numerous craters and bodies of divine entities scattered around. In the field, only three vague figures could be seen amidst the battle. The first was Cronos, holding his scythe above his head, while a strange green and dark light gathered on his weapon. He was preparing his final move to kill this terrible being. Meanwhile, the other two figures were Atlas, the physically strongest of the titans, and Inmo, the titan slayer. Atlas was using the last of his strength to hold off Inmo so that his brother could deliver the final blow. However, his enemy proved to be unmatched in the world. Even after so many titans had died, they had never seen their enemy's blood. About to lose, Atlas heard his brother's voice saying, "Step aside." Atlas quickly disengaged from the hand-to-hand fight with his opponent, stepping to the side.

Meanwhile, Cronos used his trump card. His power spread, stopping time as he approached Inmo at his greatest speed. Using his scythe, which contained the concept of death, he struck Inmo's shoulder with a lateral blow. However, contrary to his expectations, the scythe stopped at Inmo's shoulder, unable to penetrate his skin. But a small wound could be seen on Inmo's shoulder, which quickly closed up. Time began to flow again as Inmo used his left hand to grab Cronos' scythe, then he gave a predatory smile to Cronos and unleashed a kick with his right leg at his adversary. Cronos felt a powerful force repelling him from the kick and ended up releasing his weapon, being sent flying and hitting one of the ancient pillars of his palace.

Inmo wasted no time. He used Cronos' scythe to throw it at Atlas. The titan, who was already weakened, could only receive the blow, with his chest practically severed, falling to the ground and taking his last breaths.

Meanwhile, Cronos, seeing that sight, realized that his turn would soon come. Looking at Inmo with his slightly blurred vision, he said to him, "You may have their power, but you will never be one of them. Why do you fight for the gods?"

Inmo, seeing Cronos trying to argue, quickly exploded with speed, leaving only a residual image and appearing in front of Cronos with his hand piercing the titan's chest. Then he leaned close to Cronos' ear and said, "I don't fight for the gods. I fight for humanity." Afterward, he pulled his hand out of the titan's chest, removing Cronos' heart and thus putting an end to the era of the titans.
