8 extinction

That light in the sky was getting closer and closer, so I decided to put my plan into action, which was to get as close as possible to the meteor's impact site in order to evolve my body. If everything goes well, I should become strong enough to secure my place at the top in this new era where gods have walked the world.

I remember that in my previous world, scholars reached a common consensus that the meteor must have fallen in a part of Mexico. I don't remember exactly where, but it should be enough to get there, and if I'm lucky, I might end up in the center of the impact.

Thanks to my feat of hunting different dinosaurs to preserve them, I was forced to travel all over the world, so I already have an idea of where this is.

The days passed quickly as I approached the crash site. With the meteor getting closer, it became easier to have an idea of where it would fall, and I was on the right path.

I had already arrived at the location, and the weather was worsening with each passing day. It was during the night, once again looking up at the starry sky, etching that image into my mind because after today, it would take many long years to see it again.

Yes, the meteor had arrived, and I was probably only two cities away from the impact site. It was a cataclysmic sight of pure annihilation. In a matter of seconds, I was engulfed by the destruction that spread relentlessly across the earth.
