1 The Start

Today was the day it was Alex's 16th birthday and also the day of the competitions this day could change his life immensely, for this day he stole a VR set from one of his neighbors without children, he finished setting it was about to start in 15 seconds he was exited and you could see it on his face, he had black hair, with a face that was sort of triangular shape with a chiseled chin.

Then he heard the voice of his mom: Alex what are you doing" he heard before he started to hear footsteps coming towards him, his mother tried to open the locked door before she kicked it off but fortunately for Alex the tournament started and teleported him out of his room and into a small room, but he was in VR so he didn't know what was that he was teleported.

Meanwhile in VR Alex was standing next to kids his age on a concrete platform with some people around computers on a raised platform in front of them, the kids looked equally as nervous as him, most of them were all sweating except for the kids that already came here before and kid his age that wasn't nervous or they didn't show it, the hosts started going over the rules: "Alright everybody these are the rules" he said as a whiteboard appeared in front of everyone:

Rule number one no killing during the first 3 months of the completion, if you do so the system will immediately ban you, rule number 2 do not take off your VR set, and rule number three no forming of teams in the first month of the completion doing so will get you immediately band, you can help each other out but you cannot accept a person into your party, after a brief break for you to talk to each of and for us to see if there are any problems with the system you will be teleported a somewhere random in the world, except for in the ocean, you will then be provided with a few basic equipment and item, and each player will be exactly 5 miles away from each other, animals will also not spawn during the first 3 days, days along move 1.25 times faster than in real life and also other a few more surprises along the way." the guy then got up out of the hair and walked to the back.

Everyone in the crowd was dead silent until a few people started to talk to each other and the rest of the crowd followed in pursuit, seeing Alex also decided to start up a conversation with a person beside him.

"So... are you excited for the tournament," Alex said to the boy beside him.

There was a brief moment of silence before he spoke: "Not my mom forced me to do this, well I guess the prize is pretty big so I can't complain about that.

Alex: "yeah 1 billion dollars to the first prize winner plus money is also given to the second and third place winners."

Boy: "Yeah but I wonder where they got all that money from."

Alex: "I don't know but wherever it's coming from it sure is changing lives."

Boy: "Yeah, so why are you here."

"Well, my mom is struggling with money so I came here to try and see if I could help me and her."Alex lied.

Host: "Alright everybody the games are about to start."

Alex: "Well it was nice meeting you, oh and I didn't catch your name."

Justin: "I'm Justin nice to meet you too."

Alex: "And I'm Alex, hey how about we team up in the tournament."

"That's not a bad idea," Justin said as they shook hands.

Host: "Alright you will be teleported in 3....2....1...."

Then everyone was teleported to the game.
